Excellent service!! The servers are warm, welcoming, and check-in with patrons on a timely basis. The cuisine is fresh, flavorful, and the portions are indeed generous in size. Beautiful decor and a very relaxed atmosphere!

Pappasito's Cantina was one of the spots I tried while visiting Houston. I kept it simple and just ordered the ceviche and a margarita, but both were really good. The ceviche was fresh, light, and full of flavor with the perfect citrus balance. Super refreshing, especially if you want something not too heavy. The margarita was just as good. Smooth, well-made, and paired perfectly with the ceviche. Even though I didn't try much, this was a great experience and I'd definitely come back next time I'm in Houston to try more of the menu.

Pappasito's for lunch during the week is the place to be. This place has lots of free parking. We entered and asked for a table for 2 and had a 20 minute wait. Wow, this place gets busy during lunch. Once we got seated we were greeted with red sauce and chip, yummy! Husband and I spit a plate as we had plans to get a Birthday dessert. The food was filling and the Birthday dessert was delicious.

Food was very tasty! We got the fish snapper tacos and fajita family meal. Portions were more than enough, and we had plenty to take home! The restaurant was very lively with lots of people celebrating! They had live music going to each table!

Of course this large restaurant is always busy and so the noise level is quite high. Hubby and I shared the red snapper tacos. As alway, very tasty. We will be back to try the 'special Plato' probably la madre Plato.

Been to all of the Pappas chains and this was the last one to check off the list. Basically your normal Pappas restaurant, but Tex-Mex. I will say the all of the food will be sizzling hot and fresh! We the Redfish and the fajita trio plate. The shrimp that came with the Redfish was definitely overcooked, but they tasted good. The fajita trio plate was pretty good too, everything tender. Sabrina was attentive as it was a busy, noisy Saturday afternoon. She still made sure we were all good, especially for an automatic 20% gratuity. She'd better have. The other down fall were the margaritas, not it all and it tasted like prepaid juice. This was cool, but I can go elsewhere for good Tex-me and better cocktails.

After 20+ years, I have returned to the Houston area to test out Pappasito's. It's still the same as in the past: [1] excellent chips (hot off the fryer) and fresh salsa [2] well marinated fajitas, crispy on the outside and medium rare on the inside. I still consider this place as the golden standard for TexMex. It's truly the yard-stick to measure others.

We celebrated our 40th anniversary this evening at this location. It's one of our favorite restaurants. Today tho, it was over the top delicious! We shared the Del Mar platter. Omg. The shrimp, beef and chicken were all grilled perfectly! We have enough food to last 2 more meals! I had my favorite margarita, the reserva. Our server, Cher, was extremely accommodating, friendly and was right there if we needed anything. She brought us a BEAUTIFUL complimentary dessert, that we had no business eating ‍ but we couldn't stop, it was so good. She definitely made our night more special!

The food was good, ceviche was great. The service was good, our bartender had amazing energy and very engaging! The atmosphere was a little for me but after a drink it was a little bit better.

Amazing service by our waitress, Cher! She suggested the crab stuffed shrimp and they were so divine! I felt like I didn't have to think at all, she knew everything I needed before I did. We went for my husband's 30th birthday and it was a perfect meal! She made our experience excellent by far with her amazing skills and service! This is the best location in Houston and she is the one to ask for!

We ordered the family fajita at this restaurant - scrumptious! The ambience is family oriented and the server named Natalia that helped us was so accommodating. I am an advocate of the fact that the experience with a restaurant- most often than not is the interaction the server provides and Natalia did provide it. The food becomes more delicious.

I have not been to Pappasito's in years. We were trying to figure out where to go for lunch, so we decided to come here for the ribs and shrimp. The rice was a little dry but everything else was delicious. Eight stars.

The space itself is massive with plenty of indoor seating, so even with the usual Sunday crowd, we got a table without any long, drawn-out wait. The atmosphere is completely laid back, loud, and smells like pure garlic and butter the second you walk through the door. For the main event, I went with the Combo #10, which comes loaded with a half-pound of snow crab legs, a half-pound of headless shrimp, a half-pound of sausage, three boiled eggs, corn, and potatoes. I opted for the signature Juicy Crab seasoning at the hot level. My baseline for heat is naturally pretty high, and while this didn't have me sweating, it had a legit, beautiful kick with serious depth. It wasn't just mindless spice; the garlic-heavy cajun blend was firing on all cylinders, and every single thing in that bag was perfectly saturated. The crab was sweet and slid right out of the shell, and the sausage added a great smoky contrast to the seafood. Because we clearly have no portion control, we also shared the shrimp fried rice. Usually, side dishes at boil joints are a dry afterthought, but this was surprisingly elite. It was savory, packed with a generous amount of shrimp, and served as the perfect canvas to pour the leftover bag juice over. By the end of the meal, the table was a complete disaster, but the flavor and execution were top-tier. I will absolutely be back to handle business again.

Friend ordered lobster bisque. Much later we were told they ran out. Told in a manner of "oh well" and a shrug by our disinterested server. I found our female server surly, unhelpful, and appeared like she had no interest whatsoever in doing her job as patrons were disturbing her day. She should have stayed home. Once my friend decided what she wanted to order, this server had the audacity to tell her what salad she was going to get. Not suggest. Tell! My friend did not want salad as the menu said there was the option was soup OR salad and she wanted and ordered the corn chowder, you know, since "they ran out of the lobster bisque." Our server apparently left. Took us a while to notice due to the lack of service which was all hurry up and wait. (The place was not crowded at all). Took forever to get our check. We never saw our server again. Another male server came by. We told him, twice, to split the check. Which he did not. As a reward for making the request, he brought over the incorrect check.
