    House rice!

We love this place ,its a cool spot, they keep it clean by turning tables quickly, we have brought our family and friends here, the food good and is cooked to taste and it is tasty and reasonably price! This is our spot! Sometimes it gets a little busy, but it is worth the wait! Mike's Seafood does not disappoint !

Why does me catfish look like Ali Baba shoes!!

Loved my catfish n fries. I normally go with a 3 piece catfish with fried rice, but for some reason l I was given French fries instead. They were pretty good I've had them before. Fish was crunchy, nicely coated and seasoned. Their tartar is the best in the state. Hands down!!! I also ordered BBQ wings, which were delicious. I was given 8 wings, which I thought was the order, but afterwards Saw in their menu that wings are 10 pieces. I guess I'll let management know next time in person. Service is counter and there is plenty of seating inside. Great jams that are always playing. I also noticed that Pepsi products are now in their fountain. I remember they used to be Coke products.

I recently ordered takeout from Mike's Seafood, and without hesitation, this place has earned a spot in my top three seafood restaurants. I actually drove an entire hour in bad weather just to try it and it was worth every single minute. From the first bite, the flavor was unforgettable. The seasoning is executed to perfection bold, buttery, Cajun-forward with the ideal balance of salt and spice. Rich, well layered, and deeply satisfying. The crawfish were easily some of the best I've ever had: generously sized, beautifully seasoned, and packed with flavor. While a few were smaller, they were still impressively meaty, which speaks to the overall quality and consistency. Every bite delivered that crave-worthy, finger licking goodness. We also ordered the shrimp and crawfish fried rice combo, and fried tilapia and it was phenomenal hands down one of the best fried rice dishes I've had in a long time. The flavors were bold and perfectly infused throughout. Just thinking about it again has my mouth watering. The service was exceptional friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The ambiance has a lively bar-style vibe with music always playing, and they even offer live music at times, which makes it a great spot to dine in. I'm already planning to come back to experience it in person. If a place is good enough to drive an hour through bad weather for, it's doing something right. Mike's Seafood is easily one of the best seafood spots in Houston, and I'll absolutely be back.

Nice little local dive! The food was so good -- fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. You can tell this place cares more about good cooking than fancy presentation, which I totally appreciate. The vibe was super chill too -- R&B music playing softly in the background, just enough to give it a relaxed, feel-good energy. It's the kind of spot where you can kick back, enjoy your meal, and forget about the world for a bit. The server's were welcoming and prompt! Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for great food and an easygoing atmosphere. I'll be back for sure!

3 fried catfish and 6 shrimp with fries $16. Great deal!

This is my go to spot for fried seafood. The price is right, flavor is on point and the portions are above average. I see alot of people eating crawfish here but I haven't tried any of their boiled seafood options yet. My favorite is their fried shrimp. Their tartar sauce is different, good but different. There is a hint of something like cinnamon or maybe even some type of Indian spice in it. I can't put my finger on it but there is definitely a unique ingredient that I haven't tasted in other tartar sauces. I guess I'll have to keep eating their fried shrimp until I get to the bottom of it... For research purposes only. I also recommend their fried rice over their french fries as a side.

Chargrilled oysters! Tasty! Don't think it's oysters from Louisiana but they are good! 1 dozen $30
    Kirklind N.

Crawfish are good and hot. Not too spicy if that's what you want. I usually get medium garlic butter. Being from New Orleans; It is either spicy or not too spicy. lol! Restaurant also offer typical fried plates. I haven't tried it as of now. But the shrimp fried rice is good and not salty! But the hidden gem I would say are the chargrilled oysters! You order your food and find your own seat so service is what you make of it. Ambiance is typical picnic seating with good music and air conditioning! Boiled seafood is not cheap at all. 5 lbs of crawfish, 2 corn and 2 sausages! 1 dozen of chargrilled oysters will set you back $85.

No French Fries on a 18 Dollar Plate.

The staff and the Manager on Hwy 6 are terrible No French fries on my 18.00 Plate. I order to go and they told me to go back so they can check the order....

Ask the Community - Mike's Seafood

Do you have any specials on crawfish?

If you purchase 5lbs you get 1 free.

Is the seafood soup still available? I tried ordering the seafood soup but everything I do they say it's unavailable. I really hope it is still available because it's so delicious

Yes it is. I’ll check online to see if it was taken out for some reason. If not, please call in. Thank you

Are they closed? They been closed for a few days

Hi Brian we’re closed from 8/2 and will reopen Friday 8/13. Remodeling and repainting the ceilings. We needed to change out some equipments and fix those that needs repair. I apologize foe the wait.

Does this restaurant serve grilled oysters?

    Yes, they serve chargrilled oysters.

    Does Mike's cater?

    Yes, They do indeed

So they have bar b que blue crab?

No they don't offer bbq blue crab but the seasoning on their boiled blue crabs is worth it.

When will yall begin to serve crawfish again?

I saw crawfish being served when we went there yesterday.

How much is crawfish a pound?

It's 6.99 lb but it wouldn't matter to me if it was higher because it's the BEST! I drive from Spring to eat at Mikes.

    When was the restaurant opened?

At this newer location? Going on 3 years. We were opened accross the street for 10 years. And before that we were in a food truck for about 3-4 years. So altogether we’ve been in this ncorner for about 16 years.

    Is this place BYOB?

No, they have beer and a mixed frozen drinks machine

Time to Appetizers: 20 Minutes Time to Crawfish: 25 Minutes It's a solid branch from the main location in Bellaire, but they're missing some things. For example, the Bellaire location has the new Viet-Cajun flavor of sauce that hasn't debuted here yet (though you can DIY a mix). (Review is for July 2026 if they've updated since then) We got here at 6:05PM and got seated with no issues. Ordered the following: Combo #1 with extra corn and potatoes (3.5/5): Crawfish isn't in season, so don't be surprised at my low rating. It's still great and flavorful all around. Garlic Noodles with Shrimp (4/5): Still incredibly rich and buttery and garlicy and great for a palate cleanser. I'd skip the shrimp; you get eight pieces for $10 extra and that's not really worth it. Crawfish Beignets (4.5/5): Still a fantastic appetizer. Comes out hot, crispy, buttery, and is a really indulgence. 1 lb. Little Neck Clams (4.5/5): I liked these more than the crawfish tbh. It really does depend on what's in season. Very easy to eat, very flavorful. Service was generally good but our server seemed slammed; it took a long time to get water refills and to place extra orders (we got a second order of beignets to-go). Market price for crawfish is high and they're not in season, so don't be afraid to ask. The Combo #1 in July 2026 was $22. Overall, I'll probably be back during crawfish season especially because it's more convenient for me than the Bellaire location, but the Bellaire location has it beat for general atmosphere after the remodeling and much better options for mixes there.

My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly.
