I was really excited about this place my friend talked it up greatly. It seems like it is a very popular place and well liked. The wait time was a little much but it was full of big groups to give them credit. Once we were sat down service was rapid and thorough. The Crawfish were huge but tasteless, you have to buy a pound of snow crab if that's what you wish to have and it was freezer burned and rubbery. The actual seasonings were great, but my biggest deal is the actual crab was not up to par for the price. Parking is also a little tricky since the parking lot in front is small. Hands down my favorite place to get seafood. From shrimp to crawfish. This place does not miss!! I always go for the ragin Cajun. The mussels here are a great size as well! They have decent micheladas here. This place stays busy every time I come in. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Prepare to wait a little bit but not too long. Up to about 30 mins on a busy night. The wings are a good size. Fries are delish. The only thing that is a bit of a let down is the calamari. Everything is so hot and fresh when it comes down. This used to be on my favorite spots to come to but this was one of the WORST dining experiences I've had. We ordered dinner and specifically ordered my son a HALF basket (2) of chicken tenders. Our food came out, but 20 minutes later his tenders still hadn't arrived. After asking twice, they finally brought food out--but it was a FULL basket (5) that we never ordered. Then comes the real problem. When the check arrived, we were charged for the full basket. I told the server we ordered the half. Instead of fixing it properly, she asked for my child's plate back after he had already eaten from it. I watched her put on a glove, remove THREE tenders from my son's basket, take them back into the kitchen, and then return the basket to us with ONE tender left. This is disgusting, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable. Food that has already been served to a table--especially to a CHILD--should NEVER be taken back into the kitchen, let alone reused. The lack of basic food safety and professionalism is alarming. Long wait, wrong order, incorrect charge, and a shocking health violation. Management should be ashamed. Started with a refreshing michelada while we waited for our order to come out. Crawfish & shrimp were alright, large but the medium spice overpowered the actual flavor of the house mix sauce so made them less enjoyable for us. I came in today and was greeted with the biggest smile by Walter. Already starting off on a great note, I can see today's experience being truly amazing. I was taken care of by Quoc today. His customer service was out of this world. He made me feel as if I'm being welcomed into his home to enjoy my lunch. Even though Quoc was my main server, the rest of the staff were just as friendly and attentive to my needs. I ordered 2 lbs of crawfish, 1/2 lb sausage, and a half fish basket. The crawfish were really good size today and plenty juicy. The sausage was really meaty as well. Great taste. The half fish basket were 2 fillets of fish and a small portion of fries, a nice appetizer to start my meal off while waiting for the seafood. The food was seriously not cooked to order and the shellfish was so old the shells stuck and was very hard to remove. The food lacked flavor and very thick starchy, bland sauce. So there's that. Now the food is ok and I'll get to that in a minute. But the prices are pretty good you get alot of food for what your spending. So that was good. Now for me and in my opinion the flavors we chose I don't think were the best for me. I've had way better crawfish at BBs Tex Orleans but to each his own right. The long lines must mean they have good food right so give it a try it may be something you like I am just not a big fan of their crawfish flavors. The crawfish were extremely tiny but I let it slide due to crawfish season started, however the flavors and textures are TERRIBLE. Mushy crawfish with no flavor is not something I enjoy. First of anything this place has never disappointed me. Till last visit, I had a pick up order 4 pounds of shrimp and keep in mind I have a 35 min drive from my house to this place. I get to my house get a huge bowl and put the shrimp in it! And there was 2 dead fly's inside the shrimp bag mixed in with the sauce!!! I called LA fisherman to complain and manager said they did not care about the fly being in there. I dint even get a apology from management. Place: In the same plaza as Viet Hoa and there are a couple boba places there so you can walk off the meal/wash it down (trust me your stomach is going to need it) Service: Pretty good considering how packed they get, not the most upscale place but that's good so you can put full attention towards your food. Food: Amazing and fresh, everything even the fries come out piping hot. We got the house special (vietcajun) crawfish, cajun crawfish, and garlic butter shrimp, all medium spice which were amazing. We also got an alligator basket- the alligator was a bit tough, cajun fries that came with it are amazing dipped in the leftover crawfish sauce. That wasn't enough for the 5 of us given how delicious it was so we got extra fries, and then another order of crawfish- spicy this time. The spicy is wayyyy spicier than the medium (which was not that spicy) so be careful LOL. Recommend/tips: Get fries to dip in the remaining crawfish sauce, truly so good and come out piping hot. Worth the wait. We reached about 10 minutes after it opened and had to wait a few minutes, but the wait after us was around 30 minutes to an hour. My friend and I ordered 3 pounds of the crawfish with the House Special seasoning, and an order of the green mussels with the House Special seasoning (comes with 12 mussels). Today, I arrived a little after 3. There wasn't a long wait & the customer service was good. I ordered 2lbs, house special with corn & potatoes.
