Place was nicely decorated on the inside and seemed clean. There was a good amount of people but we got seated pretty quickly. Started with a refreshing michelada while we waited for our order to come out. Crawfish & shrimp were alright, large but the medium spice overpowered the actual flavor of the house mix sauce so made them less enjoyable for us. I did think the sausage and corn were decently done. Pro tip: area still has a bit of construction around it which made getting inside the plaza so keep that in mind!

Found in my mussels, accidentally bit down on it.

I typically enjoy La Fisherman's boils but I do ask they properly clean their mussels and other seafood. I bit accidentally down on it and let's just say I am done!

Our family was enjoyed with these yummy food. I'm the fan of spicy food, but the medium is spicy for me this time. :)

Let me start by saying the service was great despite the fact that these guys stay busy! Like constantly. The lines are long if your ordering to go and they are long if your waiting for a table. So there's that. Now the food is ok and I'll get to that in a minute. But the prices are pretty good you get alot of food for what your spending. So that was good. Now for me and in my opinion the flavors we chose I don't think were the best for me. I've had way better crawfish at BBs Tex Orleans but to each his own right. The long lines must mean they have good food right so give it a try it may be something you like I am just not a big fan of their crawfish flavors. However they do have good sized mud bugs and shrimp I thought that was a big PLUS! So I gave it 3 star rating just because I'm not a big fan of the flavors but they could be a 4 star rating for others just not me.

This is my 4TH time coming to this place and I still don't know if it's pronounced LA fisherman or L.A. fisherman. But does it really matter when their food is so freaking good?? That's why I find myself coming back for the 4th time because during crawfish season, there's no where else you need to go besides here. Their GENEROUS and SPECIAL Cajun seasonings puts them way ahead of the game amongst fellow crawfish vendors. You can't beat the flavor here. Or the heat! When they mean spicy, they mean SPICY. You get the true crawfish boil experience here. And by that, I mean they bring you the seafood by the pound, still steaming in double bagged plastic bags. There's no plates, no utensils. The table is your plate, and your hands are your utensils. You get a plastic bib to protect yourself and there's napkins. Never has getting down and dirty and working for your food been so rewarding and delicious! Bring some friends, and wear some clothes you don't really care about and have fun! P.S. order the Cajun fries. And then order a second basket. You won't regret it.

    Crawdads baby!!

Their menu consists of apps (mostly fried), soups and salads, lobster dishes, steaks, vietnamese seafood dishes, shellfish entrees (clams, scallops, etc), an oyster section, stir fry dishes, rice creations, and fried seafood dishes. They serve beer and wine but have some Asian wine-based cocktails. This is truly a fusion restaurant since they have Vietnamese, American, Chinese, Thai, and Peruvian influences on their menu. They have boiled seafood, of course, including crawfish during the season. On every table is also a $12.95 lunch menu with soups, sandwiches and seafood dishes. This may be one of the better deals out there. We tried a few dishes: drunken lobster, surf and turf, crab fried rice, drunken tofu, and shrimp with salted egg. Two additional people in our group came a little later and actually ordered the lunch special (pork chop plate) and chicken wings. Their napkins are a little strange as they're tri-fold style like you would normally see in a restroom. The dishes were pretty good, but I ended up eating mostly noodles since their garlic noodles are pretty addicting. The sirloin that came on the steak dish was supposedly a little tough but that is typical of a basic sirloin steak. I didn't actually get to sample it since other people grabbed it before I could. They only had L and XL size lobster the day we came...so they said their prices were around $90 and $108...I think we selected the $90 size. The drunken lobster dish can be shared between 2 people as it's a big platter but just 1 cut up lobster. The garlic noodles beneath the lobster pieces on the drunken lobster are way better than the noodles beneath the shrimp and steak on the surf and turf since they are stir-fried with lots of onions, jalapeños and what seemed to be small ground pork/beef chunks.

The steak was a little tough.....sliced really thin with 3 shrimp on top. I put a picture on here for reference. It didn't look super tasty but it wasn't too bad. I asked for them to make it spicy, it was spicy and I feel like I'm still on the search for a better garlic noodles. The drunken wings were really good. The truffle fries were good. They also had happy hour when I went happy hour is every day from 5 to 7...even on the weekend. I went on a Saturday Also during happy hour oysters are a dollar I did not get any. The duck look really good. The duck is prepared to order. It takes about 45 minutes. A few orders of that went out. Will probably go back. Customer service was cool. Dennis is the best. Thanks for taking care of me.

This has become our favorite place for dim sum in the Bellaire area. It's perfect for family meals or even small celebrations--there's always a lively atmosphere, and it really feels like a traditional dim sum experience. We have our usual lineup every time we come, and it never disappoints: * Steamed shrimp dumplings (har gow) * Steamed pork shu mai and pork/shrimp shu mai * Deep fried shrimp dumplings * Deep fried crab claws * Pan-fried taro and turnip cake * Pan-fried stuffed bell peppers * Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce * Steamed BBQ pork buns * Steamed rice noodle rolls with shrimp Everything comes out fresh, hot, and flavorful. One thing that really stands out is the portion size--the dumplings here are noticeably larger than most other dim sum spots in the area, which makes it feel like you're getting great value. We usually pair everything with a pot of jasmine tea, and sometimes add a few Vietnamese iced coffees, which hit the spot perfectly with all the savory dishes. Overall, it's always a treat whenever we're able to stop by for lunch. Great food, generous portions, and a perfect place to gather with family--highly recommend if you're craving dim sum in Houston.

When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. The restaurant is clean, the owner is very nice, and it's a nice low key space to just enjoy a good meal with friends or family.

We ordered six dishes for four people, but unfortunately nothing really stood out. The salt and pepper shrimp was my favorite dish of the night, though even that fell a bit short because it wasn't very crispy or particularly flavorful, and I wished it had more spice. The noodles, which were supposed to be soft, were actually quite hard and chewy. The fried rice lacked fragrance and depth of flavor. The oriental beef was overly tough, and the Kung Pao chicken didn't resemble the dish at other places as it came with corn and assorted vegetables but had very little flavor overall. While service and seating were fine, the food itself was underwhelming across the board.
