Ambiance is chill. Staff is friendly. Tacos are pretty good. This place is a little pricey but excellent for a once in a while treat. Had the Messi Taco- beef, queso fresco, chimichurri, raw onions and hold the cilantro. This is hands down my favorite taco! Their surf and turf taco is pretty solid too. Also had the Asian style bowl- this was not great. The portion was small but way too sweet- to be transparent I did order it without any spicy elements. For $15-16 I was left with unmet satisfaction. I've not gone to many of the taco restaurant so had no idea what they offered, here I got a fried shrimp taco and the trio dip (salsa,queso & guacamole) with chips, it was all DELICIOUS!!! They had tortilla soup and a Tom Kha soup (chicken, coconut, mushroom, vermicelli with chili sauce) that was one of the best soups I've had. Wish they were closer so I could go weekly!! My first visit here, and I'm sure I'll be back. I've just started a quest to eat less carbs and healthier, and I found this spot in an article about low carb restaurants. I missed a few things--like I didn't know there was a bar with various sauces--but I still enjoyed my taco. The grilled shrimp were so tasty. The only thing I didn't like was that the tortilla fell apart from the juiciness of the ingredients. Of course, that doesn't affect the taste at all--I just had to get up and get a fork. She didnt bother to mention that I had to order with her and then sit down. I attempted to get the attention of one of the bartenders but that was unsuccessful. I wasted 8 minutes looking around to figure it out. I ordered my food and a drink and I got my food before my drink. I had already eaten one taco by the time my margarita came. I went. I ate. My mom & I have seen this place for a while & always forget about it as it's kinda hidden. However the food is good. I always get a kid beef taco with rice & beans meals (good low price & you got a lot) & their street corn is AMAZING!! I love their chip n queso n guac!! My mom loves their fish tacos. We always get water but have been curious about about their drinks - haven't tried it but looks good. This is now one of our favorite places when we want tacos... better than chipotle or torchys.... This is an update. My last review was years ago. This is still one of my favorite places to eat! The tacos are more flavorful than Torchy's. I would choose PCT over Torchy's any day. My taco choice has changed. My favorites used to be jerk chicken and Korean beef. While I still love those tacos, my new favorite is Ultimate Beef. I cannot say enough about this place! I wish they would open one in Katy, since I work in that area. They are quick to prepare the food for pick up and the place is always clean. Every item I've had there I've liked. Walked in with about an hour to spare before closing on a Sunday evening and was greeted immediately by a smiling host. As I nodded to the bar he let me know that it was open and ready for me to sit down with no wait. The bartender was very polite and quick to greet me as well with a menu. The Korean Beef tacos caught my eye since I had worked in South Korea a few years back and I adore the flavors of their food. The tacos made it out to me in minutes after ordering and the flavor was authentic and spot on for what the menu and my memory said they should be. Outstanding service, food and hospitality. Ambiance is great, good outdoor space and indoor space is nice, lots of plants :) You aren't waited on, you have to pay first then grab your number and they'll bring your food. But their square check out automatically gives you 18% 20% tip options. I ordered the bang bang shrimp taco - really liked it. Also ordered the Asian bowl with tofu. It's not big. Small portion. I often come here to pick up breakfast tacos for my team during our team conference days at the hospital. It is a very convenient location for me and they're open early enough to pick up the tacos on my way into work. The to-go tacos are promptly made and ready upon pick-up time. Typically I order 15-20 tacos of average joe bacon, sausage, chorizo, and potato. The tacos are a fair size and having 2 makes you plenty full. What is most outstanding is the sauce bar where they have each of their 4 sauce options individually packaged and convenient to take on the go. My staff always loves it when I bring them breakfast tacos from PCT! The only caveat to this particular order was that the staff that handed me the to-go bag knowingly gave me a bag that had a torn handle and requested I hold the to-go order from the bottom rather than give me a new to-go bag. This made bringing in the tacos a bit cumbersome. Overall, this will continue being a staple breakfast stop for my hospital. read more

After a long day of work, I placed this pick up order and got 5 tacos, their chips and salsa, queso, guac, and lastly some churros. Just wanted a nice meal with my partner. The pickup was for 8pm which I thought they closed around 10pm but it seems it also says 9pm so I'm really not sure. The point is, even if they are closing soon, which I do understand is an annoyance if you go in or place an order late-- I still dont understand why the quality would be so poor. The fish tacos smelled and tasted so fishy that I know it wasnt that fresh. And the churros were freezer burnt and not edible. It was not worth spending 60 dollars when I could have gone to Torchy's and got better quality for the same price. Just warning someone else if they decide to place a take out order. as an early birdie, what i love about pacific coast tacos is that they're open at 7:30!! the second thing i love is that there are corn and flour options for the tacos. i was a bit indecisive when ordering on the phone but i went with a "brody" on corn, and a "cortez" on corn. when i went to go pick up my tacos i thought to myself, "why have I never been here before!?!" the restaurant is spacious, clean, a very open concept oh and i love the decor. it was so easy to pick up my order and there's a salsa bar upon leaving where a variety of options are available. i'm not sure which ones i picked up but there's a thin green, and a thicker green sauce. i was really craving some fresh orange juice but they only had the bottles :( so i get home and open my tacos and i'm a bit nervous when i see black beans on a breakfast taco (in my many years of eating tacos i've never had this) but it's not the end of the world and so i bite in. i drizzle a little of the thinner green sauce then a little more of the thicker green sauce. but my brody was missing something so i melted some cheese on top and it was perfect! don't get me wrong it was great as it was but i just wanted a little something extra. i added the same sauces on the cortez and it paired well with avocado. i'm most definitely impressed, full and satisfied. thank you, will definitely be back soon! :) read more

Found this happy place with great vibe. Lovely drinks and decor closer to my place. Friday evening, so looked cheerful & busy. Long lines for placing orders was a put off, but they move fast. Ordered coconut soup and bang bang shrimp. Soup was served warm and not hot, was ok. Then after a long gap was served shrimp taco. It looked pretty and jicama tortilla. That was a pleasant surprise. Looks really pretty but the taste was not as imagined. It was bland just like the soup. I was trying to see if they have additional sauces etc to make food flavorful but couldn't find. Decided to check out this place and Sugarland. It's a pretty cute themed fast schedule restaurant. Selection was interesting. The soda fountain wasn't working so they were only selling bottled drinks. I ordered two fish tacos and they came to my table very quickly. I felt like the battered fish could've used some seasoning as it was bland. Everything was cooked well but overall I thought they the taste was not very exciting. As I was walking out I realized there's a condiment bar with different kinds of sauces. I wish the sales person would've told me that. I'll give them another try. read more

Margaritas we're over priced, small, full of ice and not tasty at all. The salsas lacked flavor. I got the jerk chicken and the Yucatan chicken taco supposedly spiciest taco but it wasn't spicy at all. It was dry shredded chicken. The tsunami fries were soggy and had not much flavor and for 10 dollars was such a rip off. I came here a few years ago and everything was so good which was why I talked this place up to my fiance to come try it again and we were both very disappointed.
