My friend and I both love Enchiladas Verdes , chicken enchiladas with tomatillo salsa, and found it on the menu misnamed Enchiladas Suizas, which generally means a green sauce made with green peppers. Whatever the name, the dish was delicious with rotund shredded chicken-stuffed enchiladas and a to-die-for tomatillo salsa with sides of Mexican rice and refried beans. The service was excellent considering only one server was working mid afternoon with what I assume was more crowded than usual after lunch crowd. One star taken off because we had to get our own extra napkins because we couldn't get his attention to ask for them. read more

Came here for lunch with my precious grandparents - this is there go to Mexican restaurant. It was so yummy! They gave us free chips with beans on it, queso on the bottom and lettuce with tomatoes to start off. The chips & salsa (red & green) we're both delicious. We got an order of beef & chicken fajitas and shared. It was so good! Their corn and flour tortillas were tasty & authentic too. Will definitely be back in the future. It was my first time visiting the establishment, they have a separate cantina next door that connects to the diner place. The restaurant has a decent size and it is well maintained. Our waitress seen bothered when we will ask her for stuff, I'm assuming because we had a big party she was a little frustrated? Who knows, but the manager ended up taking our orders and he did not write down anything and no order was messed up, I have to say I was impressed. So now for the good part I ordered their " Best Hamburger" and I have to say it was delicious! I have tried other burgers but this one was really special and the friends made it better. They also have complimentary ice cream cones. The other photos were from my friends and they weren't really happy, I do not recommend their lemonade! Live in Greatwood and I love coming up to this place. My husband and I really enjoy walking up here, it's so close to our house. They have $1 draft beers on Mondays and the food is not only affordable but delicious. I try and get something different each time I come. As strange as it may sound, for a Mexican restaurant the burgers are the BEST! Dennis, the old bartender suggested that we give it a try and I'm so glad I did. What makes this place unique is that they have a separate bar section for adults only. My husband and I try to avoid the family side if possible due to the almost intolerable amount of children running around. Had a really bad service experience today here. I have been coming here for several years and I have never been ignored like today. I waited 20 minutes just to take my order. Then 30 minutes after placing my order other people THAT ARRIVED AFTER US were getting their food while I was still waiting on ours. After 50 minutes, I had to tell them to make it to go. After almost an hour we ended up eating our food on our way home. There was only one waiter, and they were filling orders randomly regardless of when they came in. I asked to talk to a manager and the girl said her dad was off today and she did NOT have control of when orders get filled in the kitchen.. I was really disappointed and shocked at how they ignored me and my family while tending to other customers next to me for almost an hour. NOPE. been here a couple times food is good ... buttt this is the second time they have taken my money. First time it was a ToGo order for 44$ i gave them a 5$ tip and left and a couple days later i look and they took a 50.00$ tip. No way i would give them 50.00$ for a ToGo order. Called they said they could give me a refund if i had my receipt, i was glad i kept the receipt. He apologized and gave me my 50$ back. Now on 1/17/2021 Me and my family picked up another ToGo order because it was in the neighborhood they have good food and i was thinking the first time was an accident. So we spent 55$ and i gave them a 3$ tip they took it upon themselves to give them a 30.00$ tip. Now i dont have the receipt for this time and i better get my 30$ back when i go there tomorrow. They may have good food but watch your bank account as they may scam you out of money.. They gave us a complimentary order of bean and cheese nachos (which were simple, but tasty). The salsa is pretty mild, but good flavor. I'd like to start off by saying I like Mexican food, but I am no connoisseur. I enjoy it, but I'm not crazy picky when it comes to Tex-Mex. I live in great wood and heard that this place has improved greatly and I decided to give it a try. It is very kid friendly which is why I assume a lot of these families keep coming back, but I find it to be over priced for what it is. I've gone to many Mexican restaurants where the price wasn't great but the flavor made up for it. My group order fajitas, with all of the fixings. And I believe one of us ordered tacos and enchiladas as well. We were only a group of 4 but we hardly saw our waitress. Half of the time our drinks were empty and whenever we got our chips refilled (which wasn't often) they were stale. The fajitas weren't bad, and my friend liked the enchiladas. But here is where it went WRONG. I am all about checking my bank account, probably too cautious. I always keep my receipts for my records like most do. My check came up to 18 dollars and a few cents. I then paid cash for the tip and wrote cash on their copy of the receipt and went on my way. Then when we went to the frozen yogurt place next door and hung out for awhile I checked my bank account and saw that they had charged me 25 dollars and and the same amount of change and I was confused. They had overcharged me. I checked my receipt and I was right. I walked overly nicely and asked to speak to someone, the ladies behind the counter acted confused and said they don't get why that would I happen so I asked to speak to a manager. He asked what would happen, then quietly asked me if he could just give me the difference in cash and it be over with. Because it was late and I was tired I took the cash and left. I understand it was only a mere 7 dollars but the fact that he didn't seem surprised, and even offered to pay me cash instead of looking into the issue makes me think this isn't a rare occurrence.
