My daughter and I recently tried Blazin' after moving to Rosenberg. She loves crawfish, and we were excited to support a local spot and enjoy a crawfish boil at home. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Once we got home and started eating, the crawfish tasted old and off. We didn't feel comfortable continuing to eat it, so we ended up throwing the entire order away, which was really disappointing--especially because we were genuinely looking forward to a relaxing evening in our backyard. Have been wanting to try this place for awhile. Saw a picture of their Cajun stir fry noodles and since my hubby was going to town, decided today was the day. Giving it 4 stars because I called 17 times and was not able to get through. Hubby drove there on his way back home and placed the order in person and had to wait about 15 minutes. He said they were not busy so puzzled as to why they wouldn't/couldn't answer the phone. The food was very good. Don't let this small shack fool you! They are packing some serious good eats here. If you don't pay close attention, you'll miss this hole in the wall, it's located next to a Little Ceasars. Birria tacos have been on the craze trend so I wanted to know what the hype was all about. Boy, I've been missing out! The tacos were ahhhmaaazzzingggg! **Drooling as I'm writing this** So cheesy, filled with flavorful tender meat. I loved the crunch from the cabbage, onions, and cilantro. Hidden Gem! I'm all about authenticity and this spot meets the mark. I tried the Birria tacos, crawfish, and nachos. Family was satisfied. The tacos came with plenty of toppings and side sauces to compliment. Now while on vacation I made an effort to try crawfish everyday and this third day exceeded other spots. Based on past experiences I only ordered medium flavor. Perfection. It wasn't too salty or spicy that I couldn't slurp the juices. You can tell it was fresh quality. We came and all they had was Birria tacos which was cool. That's what we wanted. What was disappointing was spending $25 for 2 orders and not even getting the dunking sauce. heard of this place online so decided to stop. I am ok with sitting outside (no indoor dining) but as someone stated in earlier reviews there is ALOT of missing menu choices. Birria tacos are ok, definitely not the best I've had but what got me was the price for what you get, $20 for 4 small tacos and a coke (and again sitting outside on picnic tables) is a bit much. The food here is really good in a "street-taco" kind of way. The owners are heavily entrenched within the community, and the community is equally entrenched in Blazin Tacos and Seafood. Ate here a week ago and I've been sick since. I questioned the cleanliness but I still gave it a shot. My mistake!!! The guy who served didn't even have gloves on. Definitely will be passing up on this hole in the wall. My dr said it was food poisoning. I ate there last Saturday and by Sunday my stomach hasn't been right ever since. I don't usually leave reviews. But the food here was so good, I had to leave one! I got the Birria taco combo. It was huge and delicious! The Birria fries were on point as well I have never had any fries with this type of twist to it. My daughter had the beef stir fried noodles and loved it as well. My husband ordered the fried fish and shrimp platter and shrimp and sausage foil pack and he was very satisfied with the taste and portion. The service was good also.
