(12/14) Ordered my usual salsa verde enchiladas and I have a few things to say about this place. I thoroughly enjoyed the rice here and can confidently say they have truly some of the best rice I've had. The enchiladas were also stuffed and covered in oaxaca cheese which was a new one for me, but it ended up being super delicious and paired well with the enchiladas. The chips however were extremely hard but I enjoyed the salsas though and the red salsa in specific was super uniquely tasting. Yummy!! read more

Stopped to get pupusas. I don't speak Spanish so communication was difficult but everyone was friendly. I tried to order pastry from the bakery side but I no one understood me. And even though I pointed at it and put a finger showing I wanted one I was ushered away to the other side where the restaurant was. I ordered pupusas and asked about the pastry. The lady said ok and brought me to the register. Needless to say, no pastry for me. I ordered pork, cheese & beans, beans & cheese and pork & cheese pupusas to-go. It took about 15 minutes or so for them to come out. No biggie there. As you can see from the pictures, they were extremely greasy. I've had pupusas at many different places and unfortunately this was my least favorite. It's hard to get over all the grease. The salsa was good, pretty mild, no heat. The cabbage was meh. The best pupusas was the bean and cheese. Surprisingly it was the least greasy. It actually had crisp edges. Overall, mediocre at best and the greasiness is a complete turn off. read more

I have tried several items on the menu but my favorite are the papusas and tortas. The price is very reasonable. The ambiance is a bit cluttered due to the design of floor plan and the acoustics are terrible. I suggest picking up order to go. The service is hit or miss waitresses tend to get distracted easily and forget to put certain orders in. Had this issue on more than one occasion. read more

Our first time trying out this restaurant we were excited bc it seemed like a cute stop and we waited about 40 min for soup which never arrived, we ended up canceling and going somewhere else. Every time I go i get the chicken enchiladas, sometimes double servings if I'm really hungry. I've gone here about 4 to 5 times, usually on my lunch. Staff are usually friendly, some of them are bilingual. Food is usually prepared in a timely manner and taste delicious. read more

I come here about once a week, or more. I have to rave about the pupusas here. Not only are they authentic but they aren't as greasy as other restaurants make them. The Riguas are off the charts good. The fried fish plate is huge and delicious. The plantain with cheese, also great. Tacos are okay. Food is always great here. Service here is hit or miss. Large menudo only got like 4 pieces of hominy. Tortillas were undercooked. I wouldn't have minded the fatty pieces in the tripe if the actual caldo was good but it wasn't it had like a bland watery consistency. I'll stick to Rita's menudo. read more

This restaurant it's not good at all. First of all they are not polite. The owner is very rude. I placed an order and I was missing food. When I tried the food it smell really bad, and the pupusas were wrong. We spent about 60.00 and it all went to the trash. I will not be ordering from here ever again. read more

The pupusas taste so good. I've been to other salvadorian restaurants, but this one is one of my favorites. Out of the salsas I like the green one better because it's more spicy. But I usually combine them. They are usually good at having the food ready when they say it's gonna be ready, which to me is a big plus. I usually get four but I get full off two. So I always have some for later! I usually get the chicharron, bean and cheese or cheese. I got the chicken one today along with the other three. My first time trying the chicken and it was good. If you're in Rosenberg you should definitely stop by. read more

Delicious pupusas. I suggest the chicken and cheese pupusas! Their slaw that goes with it is the right amount of tanginess and salsa has some good heat! Nice staff, but it would definitely help if you spoke Spanish or already knew how to say your order in Spanish! read more
