I was worried at first when I saw her make it, but that mangonada is something else. My husband had the strawberry shortcake, my mom the fresas con crema. They all seemed happy. The elote was perfect. I know she adds takis/hot cheetos to hers, but I let her know I didn't want that mess. I'm sure younger folks love it, I prefer the traditional way with cheese, spice, possibly mayo, butter, lemon salt. The kind you look for in maybe a 90s Fiesta. The agua fresca we had was watermelon flavored. Definitely a sweet steal. As for the vendor she was adorable, kind, and talented. If you're bougie you won't like where her truck is located. It's not scary, but you never know with some people. Main things to note is that she is a small business. If she runs out of something, that's it and it seems people in the neighborhood know about her, so she'll sale out of things fast. The queso was a good choice, but unfortunately the eggs were cooked way too long and the yolks were solid, rather than runny. I asked to have the dish remade, and they got it perfect! The cook even threw in a side of hash browns, which were excellent. (Hint: dribble some of their queso on the hash browns!) I ordered a single pancake on the side and it was huge! Their pancakes are excellent. Clarissa was my server and she did a fantastic job! She had no problem taking my order back to be redone, and she did a great job of checking up on me and keeping my coffee cup filled. The dining room and the restroom were both clean and inviting, and they had both the music and the air conditioning set at just the right levels. Overall a very pleasant experience and I'm pleased to give them five stars.
