Food and service is 10/10!!! The restaurant is so clean and they welcome you as soon as you walk in

This restaurant has new management. But our family has had nothing but the most positive experiences here! It's clean and has such a warm ambiance. The staff is unbelievably kind! They love to interact and play with our 2 year old each time we come to eat. The food is exceptional, flavorful, and always has you coming back for more. Our family favorites are the pho chicken & eye round steak soup, beef & pork banh mi sandwiches, & fresh spring rolls. Have added pics of their menu for reference. read more

Amazing. Really just amazing. First off, when you come in, you see people just sitting at the tables in their phone, maybe eating as well, but it's one of my favorite parts. The people sitting, the lights, the TV showing people in Vietnam(?) making food gives it a really home-like and comfy atmosphere. And now the food. The food here is amazing since the new management. The day I'm writing this, I went with my girlfriend an she got the grilled chicken rice plate while I got the pork rice plate. Amazing. Just wonderful. The white rice is flavorful, the fried egg is cooked to perfection, the pork is a perfect combo of sweet and savory. The drinks are just as amazing as well. You can really taste the tea whenever you order any sort of drink such as milk tea. Overall, if I could be the one giving Michelin star rating, this would definitely cut it. Please come here, it needs more customers !! read more

I wanna post this review and I need to be HASTY Barbi likes to show her boob off with a PASTIE I need to go tanning cause I'm getting kind of PASTY Damn I think I just repeat-rhymed with the word PASTY Anyway I think you should come try the snacks and coffee at TASTEA WHAT I like this place out in Rosenberg, which is an area that doesn't have a lot of good Boba or international food in general. Here, they do. They definitely have "tasty" Vietnamese coffee, some great snacks, and are pretty friendly. All in all, it's a good place to come and get Vietnamese food and snacks and drinks, and one of Rosenberg's best, for sure. read more

we ordered through uber eats today for dinner - got a tofu vegetarian banh mi, pork banh mi, thai tea with grass jelly, and garlic parmesan wings. the banh mi bread 1/5.... so bad! the bread tasted stale and almost not edible because of how hard it was. the flavor of both banh mi's were there... we just really wished the bread was edible. there was decent filling and flavor for both banh mi. We give it 4/5 for flavor. The parmesan wings were 3/5. the flavor was good and wings were crisp. Giving 3/5 because the wings were tiny..only 2 of the 6 wings were normal sized. thai tea was 5/5 but missing the grass jelly that i ordered. overall giving this place 3/5 because the flavor is there but just missing on certain parts of each item read more

I just purchased the vermicelli bowl with chicken and beef. While waiting to pay I opened and look at the food. It didn't look fresh but I ask the guy and he assured me it was. Once I returned home and taste it, it was definitely stale. The chicken was hard and the beef was slimy with a weird smell. A Word of caution don't eat there! read more

Don't often eat out these days, with a baby at home, so when I do I like to use Yelp. This place had a 4.5 star rating with over 100 reviews. I ordered chicken spring rolls and a chicken rice bowl. Unfortunately they were very poor, mostly because the chicken was not something that anyone should serve a customer. It smelled kind of gross and its texture was dry, plasticy , chewy, hard , stringy. Really bad, a lot of it I couldn't finish. There were two fried eggrolls on the plate that I ate but was nervous about it, if they'll serve chicken that looks like it has been sitting under a heat lamp for hours (think buffet chicken at the end of the day) what will they serve that you can't see in things like fried egg rolls? Very disappointed Yelp, I'm going to be a lot more careful with Yelp in the future. I'm sorry I can't recommend this restaurant. read more

Everyone was very nice and the place was really clean. My issue was that the pho wasn't flavorful at all. The only "taste" was the bland noodles. I will try here again, but not the pho. read more

My favorite pho restaurant! The beef broth is wonderfully balanced in flavor, richness, and viscosity., served at the right temperature and everything. I always order my pho tai with the meat on the side and they lovingly accomadate me every time. The whole place is very relaxed and comfy with eclectic decor. The customer service is always awesome, even when ordering for pick up they go out of their way to make the customer happy. The portions are excellent, and the ingredients are always fresh (the garnishes served with pho are fresh veggies and herbs. Also if you order pho tai like I do with the meat on the side, there is no denying the perfect rich red color of the beef.) I can't say enough about how much I love the pho tai at this restaurant, they slice the meat SO thinly it's unbelievable. A bonus treat is the tofu spring rolls. The tofu cut small enough that when fried theres a nice crisp outside with just enough springy soft tofu goodness inside. Another appetizer, the Tastea Fries have become a favorite of my VERY picky daughter, they have a good spicy kick to them but not overly so, and she'll eat almost a whole order to herself. A little back story about my history with pho; I have been eating pho since I was a little girl back in SoCal. There was actually a really awesome pho restaurant right next to my high school that was owned by a married couple who were Vietnamese immigrants who moved to the USA to raise their children. They were the sweetest people, and their pho was absolutely perfect in every aspect, their broth recipe one passed down through the family for ages. When I moved to Rosenberg, I was thrilled to find a large assortment of authentic Asian cuisine because in San Antonio, it was hard to find. I went to MANY different pho restaurants looking for something as close as possible to what I had growing up. Tastea honestly is the closest I've found in over 10 years of living in Texas. read more

Absolutely great place to eat. Food was excellent and service even better. Atmosphere was cool too.

Quaint little place out on Rosenberg. Guys were super duper sweet and the food was very good. We did not have high expectations as it was way out, practically middle of nowhere. But it was a huge pleasant surprise when our sandwiches arrived and they were delicious! We ordered banh mi, goi cuon, milk tea, and season fries. My kiddos loved the fries so much we had to order a second round! If you are in the area and need a quick Vietnamese food kick stop in here! read more

Got some boba here and it's really good quality tea, sugar level, and florals. Mmmmmm

Came by for their grand opening; this time I tried out other options on the menu. I can confirm this time that they do allow sugar adjustment levels, which is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to counteract their drinks' tendency to be over sweetened. This time I tried the following foods/drinks: Rice Bowl with pork (3.5/5): Pork could be a bit more charred. I wish the pork pieces were less leaner and contain some fat content, but nevertheless, I like the flavor of the pork and the fish sauce. The rice felt gummy in texture and didn't retain that broken rice quality. I might be a little too hard on this dish, but I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients though, which is a plus Red Bean Smoothie (4.5/5): Very surprised by how enjoyable this drink was. Expected red bean topping underneath the drink, but it is instead transformed as a smoothie, which I thought was yummy! Ideal for red bean fanatics!! Fries (4/5): crispy outside, not pasty or gummy inside, and golden brown coloration. All these qualities constitute great French fries and Tastea makes them pretty well. Black milk tea (3/5): a little too much milk in my opinion. Couldn't taste the presence of tea. FYI: I realized after talking to the manager that the potted Milk Tea should not be mixed together and, instead, should remain separate between the tea, sea foam, Oreo, and mint. Don't make the same mistake as me or you'll be stuck drinking an "Oreo milkshake!" read more

Not a big menu but the food they have is delicious. The vermicelli bowl is fresh and on point, the fries and drinks are yummy. The fruit tea is a bit too sweet but otherwise no complaints! They have a rice bowl and ice cream (with bubble waffle) & toppings of choice. I haven't tried their ice cream desserts yet. Service is very nice. Super cute interior with games like Sorry! Jenga or cards to play while you wait or just eat a snack and relax. They're closed on Sundays. They have a stamp card too. read more

I've been waiting for this restaurant to open for awhile and today I finally went to their grand opening! I was very impressed by their menu options, they have so many choices to choose from. I stopped by during lunch and food came out quick. Prices were very reasonable and imo cheap considering the scarcity of Vietnamese food in the area. I'm glad I don't have to drive all the way to Chinatown to get my Banh mi and boba fix. Combination sandwich (5/5) Potted milk tea w/ boba (5/5) - I got 50% sugar and it was sweet so don't go for the full 100% unless you can handle it Oreo craze bubble waffle (5/5)- crispy and delicious! Tastea Fries w/ meat and egg (5/5) - egg was perfectly runny, meat seasoning was delicious, fries were crunchy Popcorn chicken (4/5) - pieces were too big and slightly salty. Highly recommend this place if you're in the Rosenberg area and love Vietnamese food, you won't be disappointed! read more

. The brown sugar latte I got tasted funny and the boba was dry and clumped up so bad at the bottom of the cup I couldn't suck it through the straw. The customer service was alright. The restaurant is pretty but the smell is a little off inside. read more

This place is adorable! Nice and cool atmosphere, a perfect place to hang out. I had the tastea fries, grilled pork rice bowl, tastea artichoke, and vietnamese coffee. The fries were delicious and they give a generous amount of meat and sauce. The rice bowl was the best, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND!!! I LOVE everything about it, from the meat, to the sauce, rice, eggroll, and their pickled veggies. the meat was moist, tender, and well marinated. The sauce was just perfect, not too salty but not plain. My artichoke drink was full of rainbow jelly and other stuff that was in it, and again, I love how they didn't overdo or underdo the flavor, these drinks are usually super sweet at other places but they made just right here. The Vietnamese coffee was stronggg, they don't play haha, I love it!! read more

My son and I recently tried Tastea Vietnamese Grill. We were looking for some Pho and wanted to try out a place we hadn't before. We were so pleased with our experience! Ordering was easy, the food was fresh and delicious. We opted for carry out, so I can't speak to a dining room experience, but we went in to pick up our order, and found the restaurant clean and the staff welcoming. We will definitely be back for more delicious Pho in the near future! read more

Went to Tastea on 7/26/23 and upon entering the was a foul odor of sewage. The cashier was very friendly. I ordered a Banh Mi sandwich. I asked for spicy mayo on it and went I took the first bite, all I could taste was cilantro and mayo. The mayo was the main ingredient. The meat was cut soooo small it was missed until I fished it out. I called the manager the next day and expressed my disappointment with the sandwich. All the manager said was ok. Literally-nothing else and left me hanging on the phone until I disconnected the call. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! HAD TO GIVE ONE STAR TO COMPLETE MY REVIEW read more

Tastea used to be a hidden gem in Rosenberg for tapioca and Vietnamese, but since they've been bought out by new management, the quality of food and service has severely declined. Staff just sits around, 2 sandwiches took more than 20 minutes and we were the only customers in the restaurant. The food is nowhere near as "tastea" as it used to be. Extremely disappointed and probably won't return. What a shame. read more

Ive been coming here for a little while now, you could say i'm a regular. Each time i've always enjoyed my experience with the staff and atmosphere. They have really creative specialty drinks for each month and the food has always been really great. It's always clean and setting is a nice open area. Very aesthetically pleasing honestly. If you wanna know want to know what's in a drink, Anthony could lay out the whole recipe if he wanted to.
