The best and beautiful yum ever. Super gem. Don't you dare miss this walkable spot from Memorial Hermann Hospital you lucky folks. Whether caffeine fix, shift change or just hangry from an ER visit thank your lucky stars for this remarkable place. Caring shows in service, food and plentiful yums. I can't wait to return. Other folks have mentioned in Yelp due to the recent road construction this locale may be easily overlooked. I agree. So make a point to come. Seriously. Best Bellaire yums on this far side of town. Really that good.

We came here on a thursday night for dinner! Cute little boba & tea shop w/ a variety of vietnamese food! Finally a restaurant that has decent variety of teas and tapioca and delicious vietnamese food! We ordered house vermicelli bowl - grilled pork, beef banh mi, and grilled pork spring rolls. Our server was super nice and friendly - we ordered and the food came within 10 minutes. Food was really good. Grilled pork was a bit dry but the flavor was there. finally a vietnamese + teas/boba shop close to Rosenberg/Richmond without having to drive 20 minutes+ to sugarland or chinatown!!!

I've been coming here for some time and has never disappointed. Service is always friendly and professional. Restaurant is very clean and sleek. Food is made to order, coffee is soo good and my favorite is my avocado smoothie!!!

A complete gem! Great authentic Vietnamese food - we got the beef pho and fried chicken plate and it honestly felt comforting and fulfilling...and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Don't let the surrounding construction fool you - it's definitely worth a visit, time and time again!

Too late, my food has come This Shaken Beef is mine, and I get it all the time Goodbye, Viet Coffee, you've got to go Gotta drink it all in new world record time I see a little silhouetto of a drink, is it mine, is it mine? Does it have the small boba? Drinks are so delighting, gone so fast it's frightening me! Mama-Leo (Mama-Leo) Mama-Le oh let me know Magnifico! Easy come easy go will you share your Pho! (BISMILLAH NO WE WILL NOT SHARE OUR PHO) Share your Pho! (WE WILL NOT SHARE OUR PHO) Beelzebub, has the devil bought a drink for me? For me? Barbi? (guitar rock out) This is one of the best places we've ever eaten and their Cafe Sua Da aka Viet Iced Coffee is second to none. I always save the review of the best place to post last, and "the best place" doesn't come close to describing just how limitlessly and exuberantly much we love Mama Le's food, drinks and owners, in every way a place can be loved. Mama Le. Barbi Bae's fave restaurant in all of Houston, for both food and drinks, so I wrote a rap about her and her ideal trip to the suburbs. So let me tell a story about a girl named BAE I was at a strip club (she works there by the WAY) Dancing to Offspring's Come Out And PLAY And How To Save A Life by the god damn FRAY She looks so good, all the boys start to PRAY Little do they know they're just her PREY And when she does that move where she drops and does the SPLAY She makes every patron give their money aWAY She leaves the stage and leaves the men in disarRAY She rocks my world, on stage she can SLAY And I wanna get her dinner cuz it's her bDAY I say I'll take her anywhere, however far aWAY But I already know what my Bae's gonna SAY So we go out for a dinner SOIREE And head southwest on the Southwest FreeWAY To her fave place, a little family spot named MAMA LE! To find out what happens after dinner, read the end of the rap at the end of this review! So more about Mama Le. What to order? Any fruit drinks, the Viet Coffee, and the Shaken Beef are my faves - but we've tried 20 other things here and each and every item was mesmerizingly delicious! it's a small local hidden gem with magically superb owners, down by Richmond, that has some of the best drinks and food in all of Texas. If you're not convinced yet, read on. We couldn't believe how dreamily delicious and tender and perfectly flavoured the Shaken Beef is (I was shaken, as literally as the beef had been), as well as all of their other signature and standout dishes and snacks. We're big into drinks more than anything, and these are easily the best you'll find in Sugar Land, in fact some of the tastiest and most original and unique and dreamy in all of Texas. We'd drive a long, long way for Mama Le, so we're lucky it's only half an hour (in normal traffic, rather than ughgoddamnithouston traffic) from our house. This is a place that you shouldn't miss. We became regulars from the first sip and the first bite, and always will be. These days if anyone says "Sugar Land", Mama Le is the first recommendation that comes out of my mouth (even if I'm not asked for one) (no, don't ask about what goes into my mouth). Their drinks and sandwiches are magnificent and their Vietnamese and Asian Fusion food is spectacular. Easily one of the best places you will find in any of the Houston suburbs. One of my favourite spots in Texas, with perhaps the warmest, most instant-friends-for-life owners you could ever wish to do business with. The staff they hire are wonderful, too. I often gush in my reviews, but if you didn't notice, this place makes me extra-gooey-gush, as in Barbi when she's in a very frisky mood sort of gush. If you only visit one place in Sugar Land, visit Mama Le. They deserve all the success in the world and you'll love everything here. After dinner things get a little risQUE As she tells me which kinda guy I should porTRAY And we engage in a little forePLAY Doing every single naughty cliCHE Then she starts to whip me and demands that I NEIGH Like Katy Perry she says she's my bufFET After appetizers then she feeds me my enTREE Most girls are steak, Bae's the Mignon FiLET (sorry Hailee Steinfeld) Forget basic lame vanilla Christian GRAY That's about as thrilling as knitting and croCHET (in joke) She's the only girl that could make me GAY (well not the only) Make my bum feel like the Katy FreeWAY I'm all over her like chicks are with Axe Body SPRAY I guess I'm lucky that I'm a very good LAY She is to me what Marley was to REGGAE And I eat Shaken Beef for her, and not just from MAMA LE WHAT

Came in for some vietnamese sandwiches ($5.50). I even told her "Hai Thit Nuong. Hai Combo" which means 2 pork banh mis and 2 combos. I even pointed at the menu and said Hai and Hai with 2 fingers held up. I only got 1 of each. That turned out to be a good thing bc they were just okay. My boyfriend's pork banh mi was not the typical thit nuong. Looked more like a pan or stir fried meat like shaking beef. Not grilled. My combo was not the typical lunch meat. It had cubes of pork (I assume) and chicken. There were some fatty pieces. The flavor was acceptable at least - marinated asian style. Not what I was expecting though. I also like the butter/lard that's typical of a banh mi, but it didn't taste the same (maybe more mayo-like). Very mom and pop shop. I am skeptical of the cleanliness honestly. She also had to take my credit card next door to the haircut place to run it. I'll be checking my account for any extra charges to be safe. Nice lady, but i won't be returning.

It's located in Sugar Land…read morerather than Little Saigon, inside a large strip center with plenty of parking, which makes it very convenient. The restaurant itself is spacious, with lots of tables, including high-top seating and benches along the walls. There are easily a few dozen tables, so it can accommodate a big crowd. Even though it gets busy--especially around lunchtime on weekends--I rarely see a long wait because of how large the dining area is. Pho Ben offers excellent value. A small bowl of pho is $11 and a large is $12, with at least 15-20 different combinations of meats to choose from, including rare steak, brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatballs. One nice touch is that if you order rare steak, you can request it on the side, so it arrives on a separate plate and you can add it to your hot broth yourself and cook it exactly how you like. Each bowl also comes with the usual fresh garnishes like bean sprouts, mint, basil, and jalapeño. Service is always friendly and attentive, with multiple servers checking on tables. The pho usually comes out in about 10 minutes, piping hot, and the broth is consistently flavorful. This is one of my go-to pho spots in the Houston area, and I highly recommend it if you're in or around Sugar Land.
