Was looking for a Vietnamese spot in Sugar Land nearby, and this place popped up unexpectedly. Upon entering, one notices this is not just some hole in the wall place. The interior was very clean and sleek. Though it wasn't too busy, I was excited by the wonderful aroma of something delicious. The menu offered the usual in terms of the standard items one would expect at a Vietnamese establishment, but one item in particular drew my attention was a Hanoi style wok seared pho, where the meat is wok seared with garlic. Sounded interesting! I ended up ordering this with cooked bean sprouts. The bowl came out nice and hot, presented in a beautiful ceramic bowl. Visible bits of garlic floated in the broth. The broth was very nice and clean and not too oily at all! You could really taste the garlic notes! I thought there was a good amount of meat in there as well. The other various menu looks good, and I will definitely stop by to try a rice of noodle dish or banh mi.

The appetizers were interesting. We had the chicken and shrimp eggrolls and the salt and pepper tofu. The chicken and shrimp eggrolls has a good crispy texture but I find the fillings a bland. The salt and pepper tofu was crispy though I would like more salt seasoning. The chicken pho was quite light and lacked flavors. My mom liked her pho though. Service was ok. Restaurant is spacious and overall clean. I don't think I would go back for the pho but I wouldn't mind going back to try the appetizers.

    Bò Né (Sizzling Beef)

A friend recommended I check out Justa Pho on Kensington Dr, and it completely exceeded my expectations! Every dish was prepared with care and packed with authentic flavors: House Special Pho: The broth is clear, clean, and naturally rich without feeling heavy or overly greasy. The tender beef slices topped with fresh scallions made every bite comforting and delicious. Hanoi Bun Cha: Beautifully presented on a traditional bamboo tray. The dipping sauce is balanced just right with savory grilled pork, served alongside fresh rice noodles, bean sprouts, and aromatic herbs. Sizzling Beef Steak (Bò Né): Served piping hot on a sizzling cast-iron skillet. The beef is wonderfully tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with runny sunny-side-up eggs and sliced onions. The restaurant is clean, and the service is fast and friendly. I'll definitely be coming back often and bringing more friends along!

Nice-sized place, and when I visited there were about seven families dining in. The servers were very attentive, and the overall vibe was "seat yourself," which I always appreciate. I ordered the rocket shrimp. I do wish they had been served first as an appetizer and that they had been cleaned properly. For the pho, I ordered the combination pho. I substituted most of the meats for extra rare steak and brisket, while keeping the short rib, which was honestly a very small piece. The broth had a nice flavor and arrived hot, but by the time I finished the shrimp it had cooled to warm. I also would've preferred a bit more noodles.

The Pho Tai Lan here is exceptional! The beef is stir-fried to perfection with a strong aroma of garlic, making it incredibly tender. The broth is rich, savory, and loaded with green onions. A must-try!

I arrived in Houston, Texas the day after Christmas 2025 and it was nice. It was nearly lunch time after my friend and her husband picked me up from the Hobby airport. We decided to have Vietnamese food and proceeded to a popular spot in Houston's Chinatown. I learned that this area we were at was more Asiatown than Chinatown. With that said, we arrived here at Juste Pho Vietnamese restaurant around 11:00am and it was already busy. We got there at the right time, since more people showed up after us and we were blessed to not to be waiting around for availability. My party of 3 spent about an hour or so here and I opted for the extra large bowl of Pho, which was around $14. Not too badly priced for an X Large bowl. My companions decided to get large bowls instead. To my surprise, I finished the XL bowl of Pho without much effort. I guess I was hungry after traveling from Honolulu the night before. The menu was strictly Pho, which was interesting. Just Pho and a listing of drinks and other miscellaneous items. Must be popular because everyone loves Pho. The prices were pretty decent and reasonable, especially when you get into the XL bowls of Pho. I noticed that there was a "Super" bowl as well. I imagine that people rarely eat from that one. Maybe they do an eating challenge with the Super Bowl and it's not much advertised. The service here was good and friendly, while being fast and professional. The restaurant itself was pretty large for a typical Vietnamese restaurant but it can accommodate a lot of people at any given time. I'd say about 75- 90 people at once. That's quite a squeeze too. The overall experience at Juste Pho Vietnamese restaurant was very pleasant and an introduction to the taste of Pho in Houston, Texas. The popularity of Pho in Houston does give such advantage in where to go for lunch or dinner or have Pho as a snack. The restaurant itself was clean and felt comfortable here just to hang out with friends while enjoying a delicious meal. For the most part though, it was a nice quick lunch as well as healthy, compared to other places around town. Pho and Vietnamese cuisine is a guilty pleasure that I don't mind having over and over. I enjoyed myself and you will likely too. After the meal, I offered to pay for the table since my friends picked me up from the airport that morning. I walked up to the counter and told them the table number. Once the transaction was completed, we left the restaurant and onward to seize the rest of the day. Definitely was a good time here at Juste Pho Vietnamese restaurant the day after Christmas 2025. If you are in the Houston area and craving Pho, consider coming to Juste Pho Vietnamese restaurant. You'll be glad you did. Satisfied and happy with your experience and decision. I know I did. Juste lPho Vietnamese restaurant is located at 16200 Kensington Drive in Houston's Asiatown district. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, they have a shared parking lot with a few other merchants. Best bet would be to come early enough to secure your preferred parking spot. If you are like me, public transportation is good. Consider the routes you need to get here from your original location and go from there. If it helps, you can go online and seek information from the city of Houston's public transportation system. Renting a car is a good option as well. And of course, having Uber and Lyft is a good idea as well, if you don't have any other choice in transportation options. And with that, the Pho is good here. The broth is rather above average to me with its rich flavors. The noodles are good and does complete the dish. And so, I'd recommend the XL bowl if you have a hearty appetite. Come hungry and leave full and satisfied, if you are in the Houston area and want something different than your typical fast food fare. 4.5 stars for the overall experience. Support local! B

    Wok-Sear Pho (Pho Tai LAN)

Decent pho but nothing jumped out as amazing. The shaken beef was probably the best dish, then the wok-seared pho (honestly just tasted like normal pho), then the crispy pillow pho (too sticky; lots of carbs).

    Grilled Pork Banh Mi

On a cold-ish day in January with no sun you just want a delicious bowl of pho to warm you up (and your mood) and Justa Pho did exactly that! I ordered a custom bowl of beef pho with meat balls and soft tendon (you get to pick up to 4 toppings options out of 8), and my husband got the pho combination (comes with all 8 beef toppings) with short rib. We slurped down the bowl of nourishing pho that was prepared at just the right temperature for enjoying. Personally I probably would've preferred it to be piping hot as I LOVE hot broths and I felt the temperature didn't cook my raw bean sprouts as much as I liked, but it also meant I didn't have to patiently wait to blow every spoonful of hot soup before gulping it down. I enjoyed my meatballs and soft tendon, although a few pieces of the tendon could've been softer. My husband's short rib was fall-off-the-bone tender and we both loved it. Definitely worth paying the extra $3 as short rib is not one of the 8 beef topping options for custom pho bowls. I also got a grilled pork banh mi to try but didn't enjoy it too much. There wasn't much meat or pickled veggies and the pork itself was kinda tough, but for the price (it was less than $6) can't rly complaint too much. However, won't be getting this next time for sure. But, the name of the place has "pho" in it, not "banh mi", so yes...recommend to stick to the pho. They also had sizzling plates and that looked interesting too. However, enjoyed my pho and will definitely come back for another bowl! Yum!

First and foremost, everything about this place was really reasonable. From the prices, to the portion size. A typical bowl of Pho with all the meats (including short rib) was only $14. I love that they don't just give you a huge bowl of mostly broth. Heathy portions of everything. No complaints about this place

I've yet to find a place that tops my little pho gem in Katy, buuuut Justa Pho is pretty good. I mostly wanted to rave about their spring roll presentation and they are good and fresh! Service is great and this is a good spot for family and friends. Pretty spacious too. If you're in Sugar Land check them out!

Phoshizzle for dinner. Combination pho with a bone-in beef rib! Pro Tip: - If you want to cut out some carbs, I get mine with half the noodles, sub with extra steamed bean sprouts. - Order the rare flank on the side, so it cooks it perfectly medium rare once added to the hot broth. - Want even more flavor and richness to your broth? Ask for extra Nuoc beo. It's fatty bone marrow broth, we get a small bowl of it on the side to drizzle over our broth.

Definitely my go-to lunch spot in sugarland! They're always consistent with a solid, hearty, comfy bowl of pho. My favorite thing is that you can customize what meat you want in your bowl. Portion sizes are pretty big and they do pack a lot of meat in for you too! Always great customer service, clean ambiance, and plenty of parking!

WOK SEARED PHO IS KING HERE!!! Literally the most delicious broth and concoction of spices on top of tender meat and served hot! Best pho I've ever had hands down! Salt & pepper wings are delicious cooked to perfection.. spring and egg rolls are solid. Everyone should drive to Sugarland to experience!

During our first visit here, we tried the bangus sisig, the long anise breakfast, lumpia, lumpia gulay, pancit, and pork bbq. All dishes were served fresh, all with the traditional flavors of authentic filipino cuisine. The service was top notch, and all staff were friendly. Would highly recommend this restaurant for those wanting to experience a laid back filipino dining experience.

As you can tell, most of the stuff is kind of self-serve, which is normal for this kind of establishment. We came on a Sunday around 11 AM. It was a steady crowd. Tables and chairs are very clean. The light took a little bit to get used to. I think we picked the bad spot because the fan above us had a light above the fan so it kind of got stroby. The breakfast plate is garlic rice, one meat, some tomato slices, and two eggs. (The breakfast plate is served all day.) If you have a friend, get two breakfast plates and a street food (3 sticks of one type of meat only). And share that. It's very filling. The pandan dessert was a refreshing after dish but I think it would taste better cold. (I'll ask for some ice next time to put on top of it.) Parking is free and out front. There is a lot of space. This place is in a new looking plaza with plenty of shops ready to rent out.

When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. The restaurant is clean, the owner is very nice, and it's a nice low key space to just enjoy a good meal with friends or family.

The grilled meats, fresh herbs, perfectly cooked rice noodles all made up perfect bite after perfect bite. The portion is quite large and filling, so I definitely feel like this is a very good option if you're looking for Vietnamese but not just your typical pho and banh mi options. The pho was solid too, but the only complaint I will make about the pho is that the portion of meat was way too small, contrary to the bun cha. I ordered the lunch special, which included pho and two egg rolls. The plate of vegetables was brought to my table, but there was no basil. I looked around the restaurant and noticed that the only other customer I saw without basil was another Black woman. When my two egg rolls arrived, they were cold. I don't eat cold food, so I left them on the table untouched. I asked the gentleman serving me if I could please bring me some basil. Instead of bringing it himself, he spoke to the woman who had taken my order. She came back and asked what I needed. I said, "Some basil, please." She responded, "More?" At that point, I didn't respond. I simply thought to myself, You never gave me any in the first place. She then brought the basil to my table, but there was a fairly large bug on one of the basil sprigs. When my pho arrived, the noodles were overcooked and mushy, making the soup unpleasant to eat. From the moment I walked in, I did not feel welcomed. The overall service was disappointing, and the food quality was poor. When it was time to pay, I chose not to leave a tip. I usually tip generously when I receive good service, but I cannot reward poor service and substandard food. I left feeling that I was treated differently, and that was upsetting. Whether intentional or not, no customer should leave a restaurant feeling unwelcome or feel they were treated differently because of the color of their skin.
