Korean AYCE restaurant located in Sugar Land was quite interesting. It's a clean and fun vibe with friendly server. Actually, I visited on a weekday during lunch and there's only one sweet server who handled all the tables by himself. Plenty of parking. Food was okay but for the price, I am not mad. Great for teens and 20s. No halal options for those who can only eat halal. Thought I should tell you since there's a good amount of halal restaurants in Sugar Land. I highly recommend to get their Korean fried chicken, skip the creamy onion sauce unless you're obsess with onions. With that being said, don't be afraid to try out their food as it comes in small portions.

We went for AYCE lunch and our waiter explained that we can do both: ordering from the menu (those with orange dots are only available for dinner) or going around and picking up items (Korean pizza, japchae (very yummy), corn, corn dog (it was okay), candied yucca, twisted potato, fried dumplings, variety of soup, fruits, pickled vegetables). They also have a ramen bar, fridge of drinks with jellies, tea, and bing su (shaved ice). If you want soup, get a bowl, fill it up with rice cakes, noodles, veggies, seafood, dumplings, etc. Afterwards, tell your waiter/waitress which soup flavor you want. We tried the sweet original and my friend said it tastes more like Tabasco. I tried the coconut seafood and it was bland to me. Next time I'll try the other flavors. You also tell them which ice cream you want. You get 2 scoops. Overall, the price is pretty good for all the things you have available and will definitely be back for more.

This is the best Korean buffet. It's similar to a hotel buffet, but it's actually a restaurant. They have soups, food on the bars, fish cakes on sticks, ramen, boba, rice, and teas. I really enjoyed trying different Korean dishes from the bars. I wouldn't mind coming here again, and I would recommend it for both small and large groups. Just make sure not to eat breakfast too early, as you can skip it and save room for the buffet. The service is excellent, and Harding works hard by himself. He serves and takes orders from the customers.

SUMMARY: Weekday lunch they seemed to be very understaffed. It looked like only two people were working. Buffet was missing many items, the fridge was missing many drinks. Wanted to try out because of the high rating, so we pushed through despite seeing how empty it was. Would not recommend. Service 4/5: Shout out to the two hard workers. I think the person that sat us down wasn't the host, he appeared to be a kitchen staff who acted as a host and server. I do not blame the workers at all since they had to juggle a lot of things. Food 3/5: Ordered the fried chicken, Tteokbokki, Seaweed pockets, corn cheese, sweet and sour pork, shrimp tempura, skewers, Gimbap, Ice cream. Food was pretty good when ordered, just out of stock for many things. - Fried chicken texture was nice and crispy. Sauce was decent. Honey cheese chicken could have used more honey. One chicken was potentially undercooked. - Tteokbokki was pretty good. Grabbed items from buffet to assemble. - Seaweed pockets were good. Ordered multiple times. - Corn cheese... informed us they didn't have it in stock. - Sweet and sour pork was pretty good. - Shrimp tempura was okay. Similar to Costco frozen shrimp tempura. - Skewers were good. Just took a while to get. Sadly they also didn't have chicken for chicken skewers as they were out of stock. - Gimbop was decent. - Green Tea ice cream... they also didn't have in stock. Only had vanilla. Ambiance 2/5: Was awkward because how empty it was. A lot of sitting and waiting because they were understaffed. Experience 1/5: Was extremely disappointed. Saw many videos online and reviews that showed things that weren't there. Out of stock for quite a few things. Would not recommend.

Corn cheese! Slightly sweet and delicious

WE. FINALLY. HAVE. KOREAN. FRIED. CHICKEN. IN. SUGAR LAND!!!!!! The real KFC has returned and I've been missing it since the beloved Bonchon closed. I love the galbi and soy garlic flavors!!! I'm also ecstatic that you can order it to go, along with other delicious set meals. For the dine in options the buffet is a solid deal! Something like $30ish per person, with all you can eat made to order dishes like tteokbokki pots and gimbop meat dishes. We tried the rose tteokbokki and it was quite yummy! You can go to the self serve area and choose all the fixings you want to go in the stew and they cook it for you in the back. I just wish they had some kind of hot plate at the tables to keep it warm. Another fav is the boba fridge. Because who doesn't love an all you can drink boba option. So many other options in the self serve area, some good, some not so good since some items don't do well sitting out buffet style (the fried things weren't very crispy anymore). But that's really the only gripe about this place. There's so much other foods to eat it's easy to just ignore the less appetizing stuff. The staff is super friendly and helpful as well! I highly recommend this spot and am so happy they have opened up in our town.

I found this place trying to exit out of a shopping center and decided to try it. We came around 7pm on a weekday and we were seated immediately. The place is clean and parking is plentiful. I love the concept of the choose your own soup base but the noodle option was very limited. Nonetheless, I opted for the seafood broth with the ramen noodles and once you add your fixings to the bowl, you send the bowl off to the kitchen for them to cook it for you. The food is good and I love some of the menu options from the food bar. I would absolutely return as everything was nice!

Bulgogi soup

The buffet section was extremely disappointing. The selection seemed much smaller than before, and the food looked very dry, old, and barely replenished. Portions were tiny, and there was honestly nothing worth taking from the buffet. I ended up just standing there wondering what I was supposed to eat. The food coming from the kitchen was just as bad. Everything took an unusually long time, even though there were only three tables in the entire restaurant, including mine. The server even brought out a dish I never ordered. By the time anything arrived, I was already too full from waiting. And when the food finally came out, it was honestly shocking. Most of the dishes had absolutely no flavor. The only thing that was somewhat decent was the kimbap. I ordered tangsuyuk, and I genuinely have no idea what they served me -- it took over 30 minutes and didn't resemble what I ordered at all. I also brought ingredients from the buffet for tteokbokki and asked for a bulgogi-style flavor, but what I received was a watery, completely unseasoned dish that tasted like nothing. Overall, it was such a disappointing experience. The food was terrible, the wait was unbelievably long, and it felt like a complete waste of money. I honestly wish I had walked out before ordering drinks. I definitely won't be returning. In the end, the orders kept coming out late or not at all, so I couldn't even eat a proper meal. I only paid for my portion and left -- $22 for basically a few pieces of kimbap. It's unbelievable. If I had donated $22 somewhere instead, I wouldn't have felt nearly this frustrated. I walked out feeling like I literally paid $22 for nothing. I'm never coming back.

Was pretty excited and curious about this new AYCE hotpot spot in Sugar Land. Went for lunch with a friend and upon arriving, we were greeted by a courteous and attentive server. The interior decorations are trendy and has a nice modern vibe. There is a pretty wide array of Korean-syle foods - pizza, soup, hotpot, instant noodles, desserts, teas, drinks, etc. Weekday lunch is $18.45 while weekend is $20.45. Kids under 3 eat free and under 10 is $9.99 (for lunch). You get 90 minutes to eat (although we went over and no one said anything, but it was also not very busy). Unfortunately, to me to food was OK. Certain things were tastier than others, but given the price and the fact that it's AYCE, it's definitely reasonable, at least for lunch. It's a fun, casual option in the SL area, which I think would be great if I was still in my teens or 20s.

The most all you can eat Korean food options I've seen in the Houston area. Super clean, and love the variety of things. They even have boba and ice cream after you finish your meal. Super friendly service. Someone will be there a few seconds after a press of the call button Super clean place. Hope they keep it up. Will be back again soon

Came to sweet pot K kitchen for the all you can eat lunch special. Everything is made to order. Food was flavorful and delicious. Service was amazing . The atmosphere is very well decorated and clean. Absolutely worth the price and I will not hesitate to return for my next round of Korean at sweet pot k-kitchen.

Chicken wings, pancake and lettuce wraps.

The restaurant is quite small with a buffet that is also quite small. We came for dinner and were surprised at the price (almost $30) but decided to stay anyway. The buffet is advertised as all you can eat but the variety is small. You can also order off the menu (included in the price) which adds more variety. Our server was pleasant and friendly. We however think that this restaurant is a little pricey for food that is just average. We probably won't be back.

Food - 2/10 The only good food was the japchae. That had good flavor and from all accounts was made fresh. Everything else, tasted like it was from Sysco as well as feeling like it had been sitting there a while under the heat lamps. And that was concerning as my friend and I were the first ones in there that morning... The donkatsu kimbap was hard, the katsu part I mean and the kimbap had no flavor. The pork belly wrap thing we had, also no flavor. The theme we came to realize was that none of the food had flavor and it was one disappointment after another. I tried the fish cake soup, also no flavor. We tried a number of different things and none of them were good. Service - 2/10 and that's because it seems our bell wasn't working. We would press it like we were told and no one would come. There wasn't a noise either so I'm not sure how they were supposed to know when someone needed service. The servers were also taking their time getting to people even though it wasn't full. The whole thing was completely off. Ambiance - Meh. It's nothing spectacular inside. I think all in all, they're trying to do too much. The ready to eat and the stuff you need to order all had the taste of Sysco. It wasn't great.

Our hot pot and tteokbokki after the kitchen cooked it for us. Top is the Jjam Ppong (seafood) broth and bottom is the miso pork bone soup.

The inside isn't large but is well laid out making it easy to locate whatever you may need. The arrangement is (as you walk in the door) bourbons, whiskeys and vodkas on the right hand side, beers and wines in the middle with beers being in a cooler and rums, tequilas and flavored liqueurs on the left side. There are also a few specialties of the aforementioned on the left side, as well. Moonshine is located by the register for those who need something stronger to quench their thirst. The wine selection is small but there are a couple unique type wines such as a wine that is popular in Japan, Takara Plum. It's a nice white infused with plum and has a nice, light refreshing taste. The young lady working there was very friendly and helpful. It's a family owned business and they do work to satisfy customers. The store is clean and well kept, although the smell of perms and hair treatments filtering in from the hair salon next door can be slightly overwhelming. The selection isn't extensive but the products are nice quality and the prices are very good comparatively. I enjoyed browsing in here and am satisfied with my purchase. It's a place worth checking out.

I frequent this place but never write a review…read more. Now the prices lure you in, but the draw is the selection is somewhat limited. Hence the name. They certainly don't have everything the big box/big chain liquor stores do. Some top shelf items and then smaller vendor spirits as well. Service -is fair. I usually can't find anyone to help me with a recommendation or help on selecting the actual items (for some I know, this is where it ends for you) But there's always staff to ring you up quick and say a hello. (see, brightside) It's a Stafford staple in my view, with neighborhood charm.

The shop itself offers a good overall selection of alcohol as well as good prices. I wouldn't say…read morethey're "great" on prices, but some things are cheaper here than other places, while others aren't. Ralston does offer occasional sales on liquor and service is overall decent The reason why I'm giving this 2 stars, is from my recent experience. Walking into Ralstons, I noticed a group of 3 just hanging out standing there at the end of the wine racks. Their conversation included some F bombs and general curse words. One of the Ralston's employees confronted the guy and they started to get into a verbal altercation as to why he should or should not speak profanity. It got tense. If this was between employees, it would make some good sense as to why and as a business in general is good to not have profanity from anyone. These 3 guys weren't shopping around for liquor, they're just there just to hangout, chit chat, and just loiter while mouthing back to the employee is disgustingly distasteful from a customer point of view. Ralstons need to kick these guys out if they're causing trouble. Granted this Ralstons in the part of Stafford that is not exactly desirable, it still affects their business as a whole when situations like this happen. I'll think twice before going back to this Ralstons location.
