    Broth for the fried rice

I had the shaking cow fried rice. The meat was marinated to perfection, waitress was attentive and the atmosphere was very chill. I will definitely come here again for lunch

Food here is good, great portions and pretty cheap! I usually get food here to go my family doesn't feel like cooking and it heats up great. I like getting their pho, spring rolls and grilled pork vermicelli. The service is quick and I never have to wait to get a table. Its pretty spacious inside and is great for a quick family meal.

Pho Saigon is a staple pho place for me because it's always consistently good and less than a 15 minute drive from me. Theres not much to say because it's seriously never a miss especially after being hungover lmao. They bring out your food pretty quickly and it's a chill environment all the time, although it fills up quickly with families, it's nothing overwhelming. I always leave here with so much life.10/10 no notes

I was a bit short on time but needed to grab a quick lunch in the area, so I decided to stop by. I went as a group of 3. The restaurant was pretty empty because it was a little past lunchtime, so the service was fast. Our server was also really nice. The foods, however, were disappointing. We got the Com Thit Nuong Cha Gio, Bun Bo Hue, and Pho Ga. The rice plate's portion was really small, and the grilled pork was not bad but not great. The worst were the two noodle soups, which both tasted like salty water rather than actual flavorful soups. The Bun Bo Hue had no flavors, and the meats were tough and bland. The Pho Ga also had no flavors, and it was one of the worst chicken pho I've ever had. For a pho restaurant that's been around this long, you would think they could make proper pho, or any Vietnamese noodle dishes in general. I would not come back. If it wasn't for the fast service, I would've given this 1 star for the foods.

Due to the fact that the customer service was great. . .I want to give them a 3/5 stars. And also due to the fact that their rice was not cooked thoroughly, I want to give them a 2. However, great service always outweighs the food. TO ME! I ordered the shrimp fried rice and although it wasn't very good, there was sssoooo much! Definitely enough to feed 2 or more people. I am going to blame the fact that they were so busy on why the rice was not cooked good enough. Some bites I had were fine and there were other times where I had a mouth full of uncooked rice. Ew. I also ordered their egg rolls which were very good! Am I excited to go back? No. Will I go back, yea.

WTH is this? Two tiny slices of beef for our pho. The quality and experience here has taken a nose dive over the past few months.

The customer service is friendly and fast. The restaurant is spacious and very clean. Plenty of seating if you come with a large group. As far as food, their spring rolls are huge and very delicious. The prices are probably the best in the area for sure!

I must say, it was the perfect size for me! Very filling with 3 different beef selections. Flavor was mild yet tasty. We also tried some chicken spring rolls with a smooth and creamy peanut sauce. The interior was very clean and sleek. Though it wasn't too busy, I was excited by the wonderful aroma of something delicious. The menu offered the usual in terms of the standard items one would expect at a Vietnamese establishment, but one item in particular drew my attention was a Hanoi style wok seared pho, where the meat is wok seared with garlic. Sounded interesting! I ended up ordering this with cooked bean sprouts. The bowl came out nice and hot, presented in a beautiful ceramic bowl. Visible bits of garlic floated in the broth. The broth was very nice and clean and not too oily at all! You could really taste the garlic notes! I thought there was a good amount of meat in there as well. The other various menu looks good, and I will definitely stop by to try a rice of noodle dish or banh mi.

While I didn't try any of the other dishes, I noticed nearby tables enjoying generous portions of chicken, seafood stir fry, noodles and rice dishes --definitely a good value for the price. The service here is a hit or miss, however, given that it's a casual restaurant and the food is great. It's easily forgiven. It's absolutely worth a visit! This spot is low key with a nice, clean interior and friendly service. I visited here to check out…read moresome noodles and crawfish. When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. The restaurant is clean, the owner is very nice, and it's a nice low key space to just enjoy a good meal with friends or family.

I believe the crawfish is seasonal, so go during crawfish season because this pho was delicious. The crawfish were so tender and the pho was so flavorful. The grilled meats, fresh herbs, perfectly cooked rice noodles all made up perfect bite after perfect bite. The portion is quite large and filling, so I definitely feel like this is a very good option if you're looking for Vietnamese but not just your typical pho and banh mi options. The pho was solid too, but the only complaint I will make about the pho is that the portion of meat was way too small, contrary to the bun cha. We ordered a build your own bowl, and it came with maybe 1 piece of each of the meats we selected. The broth itself was pretty good and perhaps one of the better pho soups in the area. Service is decent but I have yet to visit while it is busy. Wow this is def lower than majority of the places I usually go to. It's very hard to find banh mi for $5.25 now since most places are around $6+ now let alone $10.95 for pho (large). Also a bonus that they have a lunch combo for $13 which includes appetizer, entree, drink! Second the food. I ordered the lunch combo for $13. Got the egg roll and the pho (choose 4 meats) and an ice tea. The egg roll was decent and the pho was good but I prefer for it to have a little bit more stronger flavor. Nonetheless it wasn't bad. My boyfriend got the bun bo hue and he said it's decent, not very salty so he had to add some shrimp paste to his liking. I think the only comment he had was that he didn't like that they didn't give pork feet and just gave a slice of pork instead. TLDR: How's food? Decent. Price? Good value. Would I come back? Yes.

The restaurant is small and well decorated, and the workers are nice. The dishes are a bit pricey compared to other Vietnamese restaurants for the portion size, but the taste and quality definitely make it worth it. Even my parents, who are super picky when it comes to Vietnamese restaurants, love the food at Com Nieu Houston. Like the name, most of the dishes here are in clay pots. Everything is always super flavorful and perfectly cooked. My absolute favorites are the Thit Ba Chi Kho To (caramelized pork belly), the Suon Non Rim To (braised spare ribs) and the Canh Chua Tom (Vietnamese sweet and sour soup with shrimps).
