    Broth for the fried rice

I had the shaking cow fried rice. The meat was marinated to perfection, waitress was attentive and the atmosphere was very chill. I will definitely come here again for lunch

Food here is good, great portions and pretty cheap! I usually get food here to go my family doesn't feel like cooking and it heats up great. I like getting their pho, spring rolls and grilled pork vermicelli. The service is quick and I never have to wait to get a table. Its pretty spacious inside and is great for a quick family meal.

Pho Saigon is a staple pho place for me because it's always consistently good and less than a 15 minute drive from me. Theres not much to say because it's seriously never a miss especially after being hungover lmao. They bring out your food pretty quickly and it's a chill environment all the time, although it fills up quickly with families, it's nothing overwhelming. I always leave here with so much life.10/10 no notes

I was a bit short on time but needed to grab a quick lunch in the area, so I decided to stop by. I went as a group of 3. The restaurant was pretty empty because it was a little past lunchtime, so the service was fast. Our server was also really nice. The foods, however, were disappointing. We got the Com Thit Nuong Cha Gio, Bun Bo Hue, and Pho Ga. The rice plate's portion was really small, and the grilled pork was not bad but not great. The worst were the two noodle soups, which both tasted like salty water rather than actual flavorful soups. The Bun Bo Hue had no flavors, and the meats were tough and bland. The Pho Ga also had no flavors, and it was one of the worst chicken pho I've ever had. For a pho restaurant that's been around this long, you would think they could make proper pho, or any Vietnamese noodle dishes in general. I would not come back. If it wasn't for the fast service, I would've given this 1 star for the foods.

Due to the fact that the customer service was great. . .I want to give them a 3/5 stars. And also due to the fact that their rice was not cooked thoroughly, I want to give them a 2. However, great service always outweighs the food. TO ME! I ordered the shrimp fried rice and although it wasn't very good, there was sssoooo much! Definitely enough to feed 2 or more people. I am going to blame the fact that they were so busy on why the rice was not cooked good enough. Some bites I had were fine and there were other times where I had a mouth full of uncooked rice. Ew. I also ordered their egg rolls which were very good! Am I excited to go back? No. Will I go back, yea.

The customer service is friendly and fast. The restaurant is spacious and very clean. Plenty of seating if you come with a large group. As far as food, their spring rolls are huge and very delicious. The prices are probably the best in the area for sure!

WTH is this? Two tiny slices of beef for our pho. The quality and experience here has taken a nose dive over the past few months.

During our first visit here, we tried the bangus sisig, the long anise breakfast, lumpia, lumpia gulay, pancit, and pork bbq. All dishes were served fresh, all with the traditional flavors of authentic filipino cuisine. The service was top notch, and all staff were friendly. Would highly recommend this restaurant for those wanting to experience a laid back filipino dining experience.

The food are more on the Sweet side and focus on pork meats. The drinks are behind the checkout counter and not on the menu. If you want condiments, it's by the checkout counter too. As you can tell, most of the stuff is kind of self-serve, which is normal for this kind of establishment. We came on a Sunday around 11 AM. It was a steady crowd. Tables and chairs are very clean. The light took a little bit to get used to. I think we picked the bad spot because the fan above us had a light above the fan so it kind of got stroby. The breakfast plate is garlic rice, one meat, some tomato slices, and two eggs. (The breakfast plate is served all day.) If you have a friend, get two breakfast plates and a street food (3 sticks of one type of meat only). And share that. It's very filling. The pandan dessert was a refreshing after dish but I think it would taste better cold. (I'll ask for some ice next time to put on top of it.) Parking is free and out front. There is a lot of space. This place is in a new looking plaza with plenty of shops ready to rent out.

When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. The restaurant is clean, the owner is very nice, and it's a nice low key space to just enjoy a good meal with friends or family.

I believe the crawfish is seasonal, so go during crawfish season because this pho was delicious. The crawfish were so tender and the pho was so flavorful. The beef dish was also so good to eat and balanced. The fried beef balanced so well with the fresh salad and rice. I will say that when we went the parking lot was a little deserted at night. I would definitely lock your doors and take all your valuables. But that's all or Houston, so just stay safe!

The grilled meats, fresh herbs, perfectly cooked rice noodles all made up perfect bite after perfect bite. The portion is quite large and filling, so I definitely feel like this is a very good option if you're looking for Vietnamese but not just your typical pho and banh mi options. The pho was solid too, but the only complaint I will make about the pho is that the portion of meat was way too small, contrary to the bun cha. We ordered a build your own bowl, and it came with maybe 1 piece of each of the meats we selected. The broth itself was pretty good and perhaps one of the better pho soups in the area. Service is decent but I have yet to visit while it is busy. I ordered the lunch special, which included pho and two egg rolls. The plate of vegetables was brought to my table, but there was no basil. I looked around the restaurant and noticed that the only other customer I saw without basil was another Black woman. When my two egg rolls arrived, they were cold. I don't eat cold food, so I left them on the table untouched. I asked the gentleman serving me if I could please bring me some basil. Instead of bringing it himself, he spoke to the woman who had taken my order. She came back and asked what I needed. I said, "Some basil, please." She responded, "More?" At that point, I didn't respond. I simply thought to myself, You never gave me any in the first place. She then brought the basil to my table, but there was a fairly large bug on one of the basil sprigs. When my pho arrived, the noodles were overcooked and mushy, making the soup unpleasant to eat. From the moment I walked in, I did not feel welcomed. The overall service was disappointing, and the food quality was poor. When it was time to pay, I chose not to leave a tip. I usually tip generously when I receive good service, but I cannot reward poor service and substandard food. I left feeling that I was treated differently, and that was upsetting. Whether intentional or not, no customer should leave a restaurant feeling unwelcome or feel they were treated differently because of the color of their skin. If businesses want the support of the community, every customer deserves to be treated with the same respect, courtesy, and quality of service.

I don't think I've ever consumed so much shrimp paste in my life, so if you don't like that flavor you probably wanna go elsewhere, but other than that everything was just really comforting and nice to eat. My least favorite of what we got was the Banh Bot Chien, and even that was still really good and had a nice crunch. Everything else we ordered was all really authentic and very forward with flavor. The restaurant was incredibly busy on the Saturday we went, with the bustling lunch crowd of both large families and old couples filling up the entire restaurant, so try to go at an off-hour where most people aren't eating. Growing up, my mom and grandma would make Cá Kho Tộ and Canh Chua, and those two dishes just belong together. You get the rich, savory flavors from the caramelized fish, while the soup adds the perfect amount of sourness to balance everything out. Before we went, I called to ask if they served Vietnamese egg rolls since my friend was craving some. The guy who answered the phone wasn't the friendliest, but I decided to roll the dice anyway, and I'm glad I did because the food was solid. We started with the egg rolls. At $10.95 for five pieces, I thought they were a little pricey. They came out piping hot and fresh from the fryer with a great crunch, and the fish sauce was delicious. My only complaint was the lettuce--they only gave us one piece. What am I supposed to do with one piece of lettuce? The Canh Chua Tôm had the perfect level of sourness, exactly how I like it. The shrimp were a little overcooked, but the medium-sized bowl was a generous portion. The Cá Kho Tộ was cooked perfectly. The sauce was rich and savory with a hint of sweetness, though I would've liked just a touch more salt. Pair it with a bowl of rice and some soup, and it's hard to beat. Overall, this place was solid. Is it better than my grandma's? Absolutely not--but that's a tough standard to live up to. It definitely satisfied the craving, and yes, I'd come back.
