I used to come here with my family a lot but maybe after all those years it's just not as good anymore. I got their bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup) and it was just okay. The broth was salty and oily today. My bf got their pho dat biet (special pho) and we thought it was just okay as well. The broth tasted like it was lacking some flavor. Pho Saigon is a staple pho place for me because it's always consistently good and less than a 15 minute drive from me. Theres not much to say because it's seriously never a miss especially after being hungover lmao. The restaurant was pretty empty because it was a little past lunchtime, so the service was fast. Our server was also really nice. The foods, however, were disappointing. We got the Com Thit Nuong Cha Gio, Bun Bo Hue, and Pho Ga. The rice plate's portion was really small, and the grilled pork was not bad but not great. The worst were the two noodle soups, which both tasted like salty water rather than actual flavorful soups. The Bun Bo Hue had no flavors, and the meats were tough and bland. The Pho Ga also had no flavors, and it was one of the worst chicken pho I've ever had. For a pho restaurant that's been around this long, you would think they could make proper pho, or any Vietnamese noodle dishes in general. I would not come back. If it wasn't for the fast service, I would've given this 1 star for the foods. read more

Saw some great reviews for this place on google and thought it would be a great new place to try! It's kinda in the middle of nowhere, but seems like a lot of people know about it. The place is pretty big and there was quite a bit of people on a monday at around 12:30 PM. Waiters were quick to serve me and my food came out within 5-10 min of sitting. The prices of this place were very decent! My pork/cha gio bowl was 10.95. I was kind of disappointed by the lack of flavor for the vermicelli bowl. It had a different flavor opposed to the pho I've had before. The broth wasn't super salty which was nice. Overall I would recommend giving this place a try. I thought this place was outstanding - it was my first time ordering take-out from here. The Pho was great, noodle dishes and rice dishes were loved by our kids, and the Banh Mi sandwiches are my new favorite in Houston, and the spring rolls (shrimp) and pork rolls (BBQ pork in a spring roll) were perfect. It is not a sandwich place with a lot of variety, so the Banh Mi sandwiches only have three options - beef, chicken, or pork. So, compared to Don's or Lee's, the sandwich options are limited. But the taste is just wonderful - lots of fresh ingredients and a bit healthier tasting, less egg mayo, perfect balance of ingredients in the Banh Mi. Some of my family didn't agree that it's better than Don's, but they like the egg mayo and jalapeños in other places, and people in Houston can get very fussy about their Banh Mi! I would definitely continue to order from here, everything was excellent and great value, without exception. Highly recommended! read more
