Chicken thai crepe - 7.5/10 - Tasted like thai food in a crepe, but was pretty dry Eggs goat cheese avocado crepe - 9/10 - Flavorful and saucy Strawberry nutella crepe - 8/10 - Really good but custard was too filling Harajuku fruit cocktail - 7/10 - Some more flavor and less banana would make this better Tiger sugar w/boba - 6/10 - Sweet but not very flavorful, pretty milky Okinawa milk tea w/boba - 8.5/10 - Unique taste, a blend of chocolate and tea Uji matcha - 7/10 - Matcha wasnt very strong Eight Turn recently opened up in Houston and they offer some HALAL menu items My favorite items were the eggs goat cheese avocado crepe and strawberry nutella crepe.

I enjoyed my Harajuku fruit crepe. It had a custard base, and the taste was terrific. Service was good, and the ambiance was what I expected from a crepe place. My only critique is the price, which isn't their fault. I understand things are expensive today, and our politicians don't care. I believe the price is a bit high. I would go back, but never frequently, because of the cost.

A new place opened up in my area, and the concept seemed pretty cool to me, so went to check it out. @8turncrepe_richmondtx. they have crepes folded like a cone and filled, you can get them sweet or savory. so we ordered one of each, ordered the Shrimp & Avacado, and the building your own sweet crepe which consisted of Nutella, Strawberry's, nuts, and more. the Shrimp and Avacado was great veggies and their spicy mayo it all went well together. #food #foodphotography #foodporn #foodgasm #foodiesofinstagram #foodpic #foodbloggers #globalfood #globaleats #globalfoodie #internationalfoodie #internationalfoodieschat #foodiesinternationalchat #thefoodieinitiative #foodblogger #foodlover #foodies #foodpics #forkyeahfoodies #internationalcuisinefamily #fooodexplorertribe

Great Crêpe Brûlée! The Crêpe Brûlée at 8 Turn Crepe in Richmond, TX, is excellent. The crepe is light and slightly crisp, and the custard filling is smooth and not overly sweet. The caramelized sugar on top adds a nice crunch, just like a classic crème brûlée. Everything was fresh, well-made, and presented nicely. If you enjoy crème brûlée or crepes, this is definitely worth trying. The service was friendly, and the place was clean. No complaints--just a great dessert!

My go to drink here is the thai green milk tea. The first time I ordered it I found it to be way too sweet. These days, I will always order the drink at 25 or 50% sweetness. I have tried a few other drinks as well and can not say that they really stick out in my mind compared to other boba shops in town. One of the items that I would order during my visits was the Taiwanese style fried chicken nuggets. I always found that the food options here to be quite good, but during our most recent visit they had installed another fried chicken display. We were able to sample the chicken, that seemed like it was a separate vendor, and I did not like it (to be fair, it was not fried fresh). While I hope that Creamery Teahouse continues to do well, I find it difficult to recommend. The staff is always well informed, kind, and very helpful. The drinks come out rather quickly and there is a ton of seating and space inside. All things considered, the drinks are not up to par especially when compared to all of the boba shops in Sugar Land and Houston. I would rather just drive a tad further to get a drink that I prefer a bit more.

I want to start by saying how friendly and informative the staff were. They explained their…read morerecommendations for specific drink choices and even told me about the offer for new customers receiving $2 off on their next visit. The inside was very large, with adequate seating. I did notice there were even some games for customers to play. I ordered the Taro milk tea with tapioca. The flavor was more on the subtle side and it was a little warmer than I would like. If I had to suggest anything, it would be adding more flavor and ice to the drink. I do plan to return and try out their coconut taro drink. They had a great price point too so that was a nice plus!

I believe the business also had recognition from the Houston Chronicle as top 15 boba shops. I stopped in during a more relaxed time where the business was more relaxed and midday weekend. I was a bit unsure of what to get but asked the staff what would be a good recommendation on the menu. I did go with their special Salted Vietnamese coffee and mango green tea with boba. The boba is chewy and something I noticed after taking a sip. I found it important the boba is cooked properly so it is not too soft and too hard. The tea was refreshing too and you have your option of either black or green tea. The special salted Vietnamese coffee was a surprise for me because I would typically pick the traditional way from other businesses that offer it. Still strong in flavor but a different taste for me. Overall I think it's a good visit. Fresh boba is in a familiar spot where I buy my alternate coffee shop opposed from the well known brand. The shop is nice and does have various seatings by the wall and even couches. Nothing wrong for critique but if you do pick the salted Vietnamese coffee I suggest you mix it well because of the salty and bitter profile cream on top in combination with the prominent coffee base. It is good but maybe not for everyone if you are used to the traditional simplicity of coffee and condensed milk. A nice option away from the concentrated Chinatown offerings.
