Amazing variety of tea drinks here! It was so hard to decide. I settled on a COCONUT MILK TEA subbed with ALMOND MILK. This drink was a bit bland and watered down but flavors are naturally subtle and muted with this drink. I'd love to try a kumquat tea or grapefruit slushee next time. Their PORK ROLL AND PATE BANH MI was stuffed with goodness. Great balance of pork meat and cilantro/carrots. Not too much spice from the jalapeños. I ordered extra pate but regretted it. A wonderful place to get vegan Banh Mis. I ordered the Tofu & Shiitake Banh Mi and LOVED it! The bread was perfectly crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, filled with flavorful tofu, mushrooms, fresh veggies, and a delicious sauce. Service was decent - kind staff. It did take a while to receive water, but they also brought it out with other drinks that were bought, so I understand waiting to bring everything out all at once. The food was great! I got the Korean bbq beef bulgogi banh mi. I didn't know what to expect, but it was both light and feeling at the same time, and it was flavorful! My drink was alright. I got the hazelnut latte milk tea. The flavor was decent, but even though the drink was iced, the liquid itself wasn't cold. Kind of strange. Seating was limited, and there was a fan blasting in the corner, causing napkins, crumbs, and wrappers to fly all over the place. Overall, a positive experience. My friends and I enjoyed it, and there were even vegan options available, which was very appreciated for one of us. Would I choose to go back of my own volition? Maybe, maybe not. First time coming here! I got a tofu/mushroom vegetarian ban mi and 50% sugar taro milk tea I enjoyed the crispiness of ban mi bread and the nice combination of tofu and mushroom! I liked the taro milk tea here as well! Sweetness was perfect to me! Also, you can study and chill at this place so it's a nice cozy place! One thing I recognized was that the water at the bathroom is really hot regardless of cold water I turned, so just be aware of it ;) Other than that I enjoyed the visit and a bit of chilling time! My taro tea was fantastic!! The Pork Banh Mi was not good. The meat was really stringy and fatty. It was not good. Also had bell peppers and not jalapeños. After about 2 bites, I couldn't eat anymore. The meat didn't look right. It grossed me out unfortunately. read more

A great and amazing place for a vietnamese sandwich and some boba in the same place. I'm glad that this place is close to where I work so I can just come and get a sandwich. The service is efficient and on top of things. The sandwich is honestly one of the better Bahn Mi's I have tried in other places. It is both filling and just an overall balanced meal that leaves you satisfied. The classic milk tea is something that doesn't disappoint, would get it again, if you're a bit sugar conscious go for 70% sugar! The fries were alright, but I can not complain about them, I would definetly try it with a different spicy level. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! We came in on a Wednesday night for an Artichoke tea and two Banh Mi sandwiches. We first got our drink, and as we were sitting and waiting for our food, we realized that our Artichoke tea was missing boba. This was a reasonable mistake since the drink already came with other toppings, so we just brought it to their attention, and they added the boba. We got the sandwiches shortly afterwards, but when we got home, we realized that one of the sandwiches was missing the cold cuts. There was absolutely no meat or pate in the sandwich at all. When I called the store to inform them of the issue, their response was defensive, telling me I ordered the pork roll with pate sandwich instead, which even if I had, would not resolve the issue considering there was no meat AT ALL in the sandwich. When I informed them of that, they then pivoted to say that they had cut the meat into tiny pieces, and that it was the end piece of the pork roll so the pieces were very small. However, no amount of digging in the cilantro, pickled carrots, jalapeños, or cucumbers revealed any meat. At the end, although they claimed that they would "make a note" to offer me a free sandwich the next time I came in, I'm not sure how they planned to do that without any of my information. My impression of the discussion was that they didn't believe me, and believed that I was trying to make up an excuse to get a free sandwich. However, I even told them to play back their security footage in the store, if they had any, to see if they actually put meat in my sandwich. It seemed like they were trying to rush me off the phone since they were close to closing, and I was what they considered as being "difficult". During the call, I even heard his coworker asking him if I was yelling at him. Overall, although I tried to be reasonable with their mistakes, even offering an excuse that they might have been distracted trying to correct the drink, causing them to forget the meat in the sandwich, their dismissive attitude was completely off putting. They can rest assured that I won't be back for that free sandwich they think I'm trying to scam them for. read more

I've had my fair share of avocado (xin to bo) smoothie and banh mi dac biet (cold cut and pate) all over the usa/canada and I can unequivocally say that both items I was served today to be ranked at the very bottom so far in my lifetime. Just can't believe of all places, it would be Houston. The only good thing about the sandwich...the bread was solid. The cuts were the thinnest anywhere. Pate tasted a little off. The soy sauce was overdone and overpowering. My wife's bbq pork....sorry, this is more pan-asian (think korean/japanese sweet) and perhaps catering to pan-white taste buds. Our spring roll...was missing the green onion and mint...or maybe they don't do it here...but that's kind of the core ingredients in a spring roll. Sauce...where did they buy this sauce... The fruit smoothies...I don't think it has fruit in it. Whatever powder they used, my avocado tasted like it had banana flavoring. LIke wth. How I got tricked by the 4.5 star rating is beyond me. I usually reserve giving a five star review until I've visited a place multiple times and have received consistent service, food quality, etc. I have tried smoothies, slushies, milk teas, the chamanga, and their banh mi at this location and all have exceeded my expectations. I really like it here and recommend it to others. The store does get busy on weekends, so it is harder to find space to sit in the store if you are planning to stay, but if you are there for pick up, it isn't too bad. Stopped in for some boba to quench our thirst and ended up staying for some popcorn chicken and a banh mi. The hubby got the matcha green tea smoothie, I had the mangonada and my daughter had the mango smoothie with strawberry poppers. All the smoothies were really good without being overly sweet. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken was lightly battered and not greasy at all. It was also perfectly seasoned. The bbq pork banh mi was very good too with lightly crispy bread and Vietnamese mayo. This place is EPIC! Their Banh Mi is out of this world. I got the Grilled BBQ Pork and let me tell you..I wish I had an entire 9x13 on of that stuff..so delicious!! Honestly, when I got it, it was like a giant glass of sugar water..I tried to drink it but just couldn't..I went up to the counter and asked to purchase another one with less sugar and the owner offered to just remake it for me, for no charge! The drinks are great considering its not anywhere near Asia town. The taste and freshness is good. The food however is mediocre, not bad but not something I crave. I expected the popcorn chicken to be Taiwanese style like way Im used to at majority of boba shop but thats my preference and this place made their own twist. While the meat and crispness is there the flavor lacked a bit. The bulgogi kitchen fries were decent but I wish there was more meat. After a few bites all that was left were fries..I have not tried any of their other food as the pricing were a bit high but I would definitely get the drinks . read more

Phenomenal banh mi, delicious smoothie drinks, and exceptional customer service! Space is small, and you're better off connecting to their WiFI because the cellular reception in that area is poor. The employees are so kind and very welcoming. They answered all of my annoying questions, and always had a smile on their face. Popcorn chicken is BOMB. One order is good enough for two adults. They have three levels of spiciness, but we stick to the mild flavor. It's incredibly crunchy, tender, and tastes amazing. I'm thinking it's the basil they add in there, but it is packed with a lot of flavor. Banh mi (BBQ pork) literally tastes like it's been grilled to order. Has an amazing grilled taste, and they add lots of meat inside the sandwich. Veggies taste fresh, and bread is baked to perfection. I've only tried their hazelnut smoothie, iced viet coffee, and mocha smoothie. The best one is the hazelnut smoothie - it's not strong, and tastes incredibly refreshing for a coffee drink. Iced viet coffee is super strong, I didn't like it much. The mocha smoothie almost tasted like an okay chocolate milk. Wasn't too ecstatic about that one. This is not a good place to spend your money. We ordered a special Vietnamese Special banh mi to go. It was the worst one ever. The bread was unbelievable hard like a rock. They must re-reheated so many times before they sold one to us. We eventually trashed it. The smoke was all over the restaurant. Updating my initial 5 star review to 3 star after trying out entire menu over the course of the past year. I rushed into the 5 star because of one item on the menu. The 5 star must try menu item is the Korean Beef Bulgogi banh mi. Honestly this sandwich and a milk tea with tapioca or egg pudding would be my order combo for foreseeable future. A close second place would be any of the rice bowls which are very flavorful but kind of pricey. The vermicelli option can be skipped as many of the bowls lack basic flavor or proper seasoning. I had to douse my recent vermicelli bowl in siracha and hoisin sauce. Avoid any of the imitation mangonada drinks. True mangonadas come out like a silky slush while Go Tea's version is like a watered down slushie. I had to freeze my recent order in attempt to redeem itself. I failed. As far as the milk tea drinks go, the most I can say is, mid. Thankfully the boba has tasted fresh every time which is a saving grace for this spot. read more

I visit Go Tea at least once every month. A majority of the time that I've ordered food or boba there it has always been served in a friendly and timely manner. Their banh mis are delicious, especially the fried chicken Banh mi with the Taiwanese style popcorn chicken bits. When it comes to their drinks I've always loved their Tiger milk tea (similar to brown sugar boba in other places but with a stronger flavor) and their iced Vietnamese coffee is good too if you enjoy your coffee bitter. Definitely love this place and I know I'll be continuing to frequent it as long as I'm in the Katy area. read more
