First time coming here! I got a tofu/mushroom vegetarian ban mi and 50% sugar taro milk tea I enjoyed the crispiness of ban mi bread and the nice combination of tofu and mushroom! I liked the taro milk tea here as well! Sweetness was perfect to me! Also, you can study and chill at this place so it's a nice cozy place! One thing I recognized was that the water at the bathroom is really hot regardless of cold water I turned, so just be aware of it ;) Other than that I enjoyed the visit and a bit of chilling time! Will be back again! Cheers

So yummy! Lavender is not so sweet and just refreshing and perfect. Perfect drink for the summer!!!

Grilled BBQ Pork Bahn Mi Classic Milk Tea Seasoned Fries - Mild

A great and amazing place for a vietnamese sandwich and some boba in the same place. I'm glad that this place is close to where I work so I can just come and get a sandwich. The service is efficient and on top of things. The sandwich is honestly one of the better Bahn Mi's I have tried in other places. It is both filling and just an overall balanced meal that leaves you satisfied. The classic milk tea is something that doesn't disappoint, would get it again, if you're a bit sugar conscious go for 70% sugar! The fries were alright, but I can not complain about them, I would definetly try it with a different spicy level. I would recommend this for anyone that is a bit tired from other fast foods and for any occasion!

Ordered two sandwiches, and one came completely devoid of any meat

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! We came in on a Wednesday night for an Artichoke tea and two Banh Mi sandwiches. We first got our drink, and as we were sitting and waiting for our food, we realized that our Artichoke tea was missing boba. This was a reasonable mistake since the drink already came with other toppings, so we just brought it to their attention, and they added the boba. We got the sandwiches shortly afterwards, but when we got home, we realized that one of the sandwiches was missing the cold cuts. There was absolutely no meat or pate in the sandwich at all. When I called the store to inform them of the issue, their response was defensive, telling me I ordered the pork roll with pate sandwich instead, which even if I had, would not resolve the issue considering there was no meat AT ALL in the sandwich. When I informed them of that, they then pivoted to say that they had cut the meat into tiny pieces, and that it was the end piece of the pork roll so the pieces were very small. However, no amount of digging in the cilantro, pickled carrots, jalapeños, or cucumbers revealed any meat. At the end, although they claimed that they would "make a note" to offer me a free sandwich the next time I came in, I'm not sure how they planned to do that without any of my information. My impression of the discussion was that they didn't believe me, and believed that I was trying to make up an excuse to get a free sandwich. However, I even told them to play back their security footage in the store, if they had any, to see if they actually put meat in my sandwich. It seemed like they were trying to rush me off the phone since they were close to closing, and I was what they considered as being "difficult". During the call, I even heard his coworker asking him if I was yelling at him. Overall, although I tried to be reasonable with their mistakes, even offering an excuse that they might have been distracted trying to correct the drink, causing them to forget the meat in the sandwich, their dismissive attitude was completely off putting. They can rest assured that I won't be back for that free sandwich they think I'm trying to scam them for.

I usually reserve giving a five star review until I've visited a place multiple times and have received consistent service, food quality, etc. I have tried smoothies, slushies, milk teas, the chamanga, and their banh mi at this location and all have exceeded my expectations. I really like it here and recommend it to others. The store does get busy on weekends, so it is harder to find space to sit in the store if you are planning to stay, but if you are there for pick up, it isn't too bad. I will be back to try more of their snacks and am really interested in trying the other cha-fruit drinks (mango, pineapple, etc.)

I love this place! Their shredded chicken bahn mi is BOMB!!! The chicken is so flavorful and soft and I love their mayo lol. I've tried alot of bahn mis in town and this one is still my favorite. It never gets old. Staff is nice, food comes out quick, and their drinks aren't too sweet. This place is solid!

Are your employees suppose to be chilling while on the clock? I expect better from this establishment.

Your employees are just chilling while on the clock instead of making sure the store looks neat! I expect better from this establishment.

Matcha smoothie, mangonada and mango smoothie - 5/5

Stopped in for some boba to quench our thirst and ended up staying for some popcorn chicken and a banh mi. The hubby got the matcha green tea smoothie, I had the mangonada and my daughter had the mango smoothie with strawberry poppers. All the smoothies were really good without being overly sweet. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken was lightly battered and not greasy at all. It was also perfectly seasoned. The bbq pork banh mi was very good too with lightly crispy bread and Vietnamese mayo. Yum yum yum! We will definitely be back to try the other items on their menu. New boba tea and Vietnamese banh mi shop just opened in Katy, Tx. Great location! Awesome friendly service and the food and drinks were bomb. My favs: artichoke tea 70% sweet and the taro milk tea is a popular choice too. As for the food, must have the popcorn chicken with basil leaves and the spam & eggs banh mi. I tried my sister's bulgogi banh mi and it was also really good! Seems you can't go wrong with anything you order there. Left me craving to come back soon...

This place delivered where it mattered most, especially with the highly reviewed appetizers. Probably one of my favorite drinks here was the Thai Green Tea. It has a really interesting flavor that stands out from regular Thai Tea -- more earthy, but not quite like matcha (we guessed there might be pandan in it). Just a heads up: it's definitely on the sweeter side. My partner and I actually let the ice melt a bit before continuing to drink it, which helped balance things out. I came back a second time and still loved it just as much. The dipping sauce felt like a truly authentic representation of Vietnamese cuisine. It was a lightly diluted fish sauce with spicy red pepper and plenty of garlic -- simple but really flavorful. I also appreciated that the table setup let you customize it to your taste. In my first experience here, we ordered the Bánh Xèo, Bánh Khọt, and Bánh Bột Chiên. I was hands down a huge fan of the ginormous Bánh Xèo -- crispy, flavorful, and just overall my favorite (though I'll admit I'm a little biased toward it already). Meanwhile, my boyfriend completely fell in love with the crunchy Bánh Khọt. That said, I did notice a slight graininess in the Bánh Khọt, which took away a few points for me. The Bánh Bột Chiên was solid and got a pass from us, but it wasn't our top pick -- mostly because we've had better versions elsewhere. Other worthy notes: the herbs were fresh and crisp, and the pickled vegetables were refreshing as well (though my boyfriend thought they could've been a bit more strongly pickled). Eating everything the traditional way -- wrapping it in lettuce with herbs -- made the whole experience even better. Honestly, I would come back just to order two Bánh Xèo. I actually came back a second time before posting this review, this time with my family. We ordered the Bắp Xào, Cơm Chiên Bò Lúc Lắc, and a simple rice dish. This visit was a bit different -- across the board, we all agreed the dishes leaned too salty this time around. I could also tell the staff was overwhelmed, with only two people handling both the front and the kitchen, so it was tough to get their attention at times. That said, the Bánh Xèo still held its ground. My parents were genuinely impressed by the size, and for me, it's still an absolute banger -- something I'd come back for again and again purely for flavor and value. The Bắp Xào really stood out to me in a nostalgic way. I loved the use of traditional Vietnamese corn, and the sautéed dried shrimp brought back memories of flavors from dishes I grew up eating, even if I couldn't quite pinpoint which one. While my mom thought it was too salty, I actually felt like it would pair perfectly with a bowl of plain white rice. I also tried some of my brother's Cơm Chiên Bò Lúc Lắc and found the beef to be tender and flavorful, though not particularly standout compared to other places. I've had very similar versions nearby, but it's still my brother's go-to -- though I suspect that might also be his way of loading up on protein. Overall, even with the inconsistency during the second visit, I still really enjoy Yummy Quan -- especially for the appetizers. It's a place I'd bring family and friends to try, and I'm still curious about more of the menu... but realistically, I could live life on Bánh Xèo alone. At the end, you also get to grab some guava candy, and for anyone who's never had these, don't forget to pick some up -- they're simply delectable!

We saw on the door that they're BYOB? Thai Green Tea (4.5/5): Really sweet but with some pretty unique grassy/herbal notes! (Pandan??) Would recommend if they can adjust the sweetness down a notch. We let the ice melt a bit and it made for a great palatte cleanser. Banh Xeo (4.5/5): Definitely one of their signature dishes. I read the reviews on how large it was and it was still shocking! See my hand for reference. It's crispy and delicious. Two downsides: Not enough protein, and not enough lettuce to make wraps with how big it is. But overall, definitely one of the best I've had outside of homemade. Banh Khot (4/5): These little flavor explosions are a perfect bite size and are also a signature dish. Would definitely recommend. A few of ours were light on the pork. Banh Bot Chien (3.5/5): I was dying to try this since there is really one famous spot for it. Their version is very good, but misses on the crispiness. The inside texture and pairing sauces and radish were all very good, it just needed a little more crisp. I love that they give extra garlic and spice and basically let you customize the intensity of your fish sauce to your preference. Paid with no issues via inKind at the counter. We definitely left stuffed and would come back!

We've always loved the atmosphere and the flavors, and being on InKind only makes it even more worthwhile. We came around 8:10 PM, not realizing they closed at 8:45 PM. We felt really bad, but they were very accommodating and reassuring nonetheless. Nước Mía và Tắc ($7) - Very sweet and refreshing--one of my go-to places for this drink. It reminds me of Vietnam every time I have it. My mom said it still isn't quite as good as the fresh sugarcane juice back in Vietnam, but both my brother and I love it. It's probably about as close as we'll get with the importing. Bún Bò Huế - My mom and I both agreed that the broth wasn't as rich as we'd like, and I don't think it's their highlight dish. That said, it was still a delicious and filling meal. Served with the traditional red cabbage. Phở Đặc Biệt - Still one of my favorite pho places because of their light broth. I always feel like I get great value here for the amount of food they give you. The meat cuts were especially good today. Bánh Mì Bò Né - My brother's go-to order. I've had it multiple times and have always enjoyed it, but today was definitely soup-energy. Bún Thịt Nướng - I didn't have this one, but the person who ordered it said they enjoyed it! Overall, this place continues to be one of my family's reliable Vietnamese spots. The meat in both broth dishes was especially good this visit, and despite us coming so close to closing, they never made us feel rushed. We'll definitely keep coming back.

At first it was just us and one other table, but not long after, more people started coming in, probably for lunch as well. The restaurant is pretty large, with both tables and booths, plus a big table for large groups. This is what we ordered: Combo Rolls This comes as a sampler with five different types of spring rolls. Regular spring rolls, nem nuong rolls (fermented grilled pork), grilled chicken, grilled pork, and shrimp only. I really liked this idea because it lets you try everything without having to order each roll separately. My favorite was the nem nuong roll. Bun Bo Hue I do not eat pork blood or pork loaf, so I substituted them with more tendon and beef meatballs. Because of that, I cannot really comment on how the pork tasted. The broth was okay but a little lacking in flavor. After I asked for shrimp paste, it tasted much better. Bo Kho (Beef Stew) This is my husband favorite dish, so he always orders it whenever a place has it. He ordered the one come with bread as dipping. He did not really like this one. It was not bad, but not great either. The flavor was missing, and the broth was more watered down than how he prefers it. Still, it is worth trying if you like beef stew. Overall, our experience was just okay. The service was fine, but the food did not leave a strong impression on us. We did not stay long since my husband had to get back to work. I would come back to try more dishes, especially pho. Since their name is Pho Guru, I feel like the pho might be better.
