I used to rarely go to Torchy's, but I've gone a couple of times in the last few months, and I really like it. Their tacos are sooo yummy with all the different sauces and toppings, and I love that you can get any type of extra sauce on the side regardless of which taco you get. Apparently, today was the first day for the hooky hour nachos, and we really liked them and would get them again. Even without protein, they were really good. And of course, their queso is always superior. We've been getting the horchata the last couple of times too and it's so worth it. I door dashed so I cannot speak as to the atmosphere or service except that I have been here before and when I've visited their lunch hour is on and poppin. There's a bar in the middle and usually has people sitting around it. Service is usually friendly and they try to get your order out to you quickly. I ordered the tipsy bowl which is like a deconstructed tipsy chick, the chicken was crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. The flavors were delish all mixed together with cilantro rice corn, black beans, cheeses, and fried or grilled chicken. I also ordered the half chips and queso. This place has the best queso!!! I'd like to start off by saying I gave Torchy's Tacos another chance, but at this location this time. When I first arrived, the wonderful manager (Krystal ) greeted and assisted me with my order. She was such a delight and very polite. She was so nice to my kid and patient with him ordering. Not only was I upset that I had such a wonderful service from the manager here instead of the other place, but the rest of the staff including the busser matched her energy. First time trying Torchy's Tacos and it's not bad for a fast food joint. You order at the front and the food gets delivered to your table. I loved their freshly made chips and they were refilled for free. My husband and I shared 5 tacos to get a different variety. My favorite was the shrimp tacos. My daughter enjoyed her kids quesadilla but I wish it came with more than just 2 small pieces. We had to order a second because it wasn't enough for our 2 year old. I love the service here and ambiance on a Sundays with games all over the TVs. This location is really good at taking care of a full house than other locations. I love the juices they make themselves like strawberry dragonfruit. But, I recently noticed their tacos are a bit different. First, the chip trays are now smaller - have to ask for chips more often. They like to put the sauce already on the taco instead of on the side. They also added jalapeños on the brushfire. And the onions are a bit different than usual. One person is definitely a standout - Eliseo. There are 5 star restaurants that could improve their service by having an Eliseo! He is always right there if you need a refill, extra chips, or if there is a spill. He is very attentive and kind. He is always genuinely happy to see you when you return. It is worth the trip to our Torchy's just to get that welcome feeling after a long day! The food is delicious and consistent. Have loved the food. However, I am not happy with the kiosk ordering they r now using. People before us needed help & had to wait until a person just happened to come out to refill the tea dispenser. Love coming here for lunch or dinner when I am craving their queso (which ironically I did not get a picture of). Along with the queso I always order the trailer park taco on a flour tortilla and make it trashy of course. (trashy= substituting the shredded lettuce for queso). I love how Torchy's has such crazy and fun taco combos that you would not think of. The trailer park has fried chicken inside with shredded cheese and tomatoes. On this trip, I also decided to try a new taco and went to the crossroads. This taco had brisket, shredded cheese, jalapenos, and avocado inside. I really enjoyed the Crossroads taco and will be ordering it again in the future just without the jalapenos. Inside has a good amount of seating with options outside, inside and at the bar. The service can be a little quicker at times considering the contents of the food but the table bussers and cashiers are super friendly and attentive. read more

He asked us a couple times if we needed a refill on the waters, more chips and if everyone was doing okay. He was going around each table to make sure they were doing well. He had a smile on his face the entire time and it looked like he really wanted to be there and help the guest. Super disappointed with the customer service at this Torchy's location. I came in on a Tuesday night to order food to go. Despite clarifying my order several times before prior to submitting payment, my order was STILL made incorrectly. When I walked in, no one was at the register and it took a second for someone to notice I was there and come ya aw my order. It was close to close so I wasn't even too upset about that. My order was simple: two chicken fajita tacos with a side of rice. No drink, no complicated toppings..just two tacos and rice. I repeated my order to make sure it was correct. When the young lady told me my total was $8.66 I asked if she got the order correct because a chicken fajita taco is $4 each so I was confused where my side of rice came in. She assured me it had been entered correctly and repeated it back to me. When my food came out there were two tacos but no rice. I went back to the counter and explained that I was missing a side of rice. (I should've checked my tacos because that's where the rice was). I go home thinking everything is fine and sit down to eat my food and realize the rice was on my tacos the whole time. The cashier had entered it on the computer wrong, explaining why there was no side of rice in my bag initially. Had the Mexican rice been good, I probably would've still eaten the tacos but the rice was so bland and basic I barely touched the rice or tacos. So much for getting food to go at this location. Mmm...taco. My go to taco is always the trailer park. A beautifully fried piece of juicy chicken hanging out with pico, lettuce, and chiles in a fluffy tortilla. Perfection. The baja shrimp is also a treat. While the fried shrimp is great, the real star of the taco is the pickled onion. They have been soaked in vinegar for just the right amount of time and add such a nice kick to the overall taste. Must try. Not to be outdone by the tacos, Torchy's refried black beans are also quite tasty. Although I must admit: I ordered this dish during my very first Torchy's visit. But not long after, a gentleman approached us and asked if we'd been helped - the cashier was off the register cleaning up and came back soon after. No complaints.
