One word: wow! Finally I had the opportunity to try this restaurant on a date night. The place looks small from outside but actually has some room. Love the llamas and flowers decor. To be honest I'm not a very adventurous person and I was about to order my to go Peruvian plate, lomo saltado, but then we agreed with my husband that if he tried the heart beef then I will try the octopus that I've never have before. We share both appetizers. Presentation 5 stars. And wow! Both dishes were great!! Then we shared the lamb, the potatoes, the sauce, everything was delicious! And last but not least dessert. Service was great, we did get chips and Peruvian corn for the table as soon as we arrived. Also a complementary passion fruit shot with pisco. Definitely coming back to try more!

My husband made a dinner reservation at this wonderful restaurant for our wedding anniversary. It is a small but intimate place so it was perfect. The hostess seated us at a nice table by the front window and then brought over some complimentary plantain chips and roasted corn. The menu offers plenty of appetizers and about six entrees. I opted for the Mar Y Tierra. It was a spectacular surf and turf that included hanger steak, shrimp and tagliatelle pasta, along with tomatoes and onions. It was a delicious dish. My husband had the Patarashca. It was magically seasoned grouper wrapped in plantain leaves, cooked over hot coals and served with hearts of palm, yuca and plantains. A cup of passion fruit cilantro sauce also accompanied the dish. We were both too full for dessert but maybe next time. Service was good from Sergey.

My all time favorite peruvian spot in Florida. Very subtle, dimming, and welcoming environment. The area has expanded so it was a one room restaurant now it has branched out with more seating! The food is always so amazing and catches your tastebuds off guard! I came here again for my anniversary and it's quite literally my favorite restaurant to this day!

Simply, Amazing! Llama is among the best dining experiences I've ever had. I would give 6 stars if that were possible! The food was super tasty and beautifully presented. My ceviche Classico was fresh, fragrant, and delicious. Pro tip: get the hot peppers on the side. The service was great. Thanks, Alondra. The star of this evening was the immersive and authentic atmosphere. I felt like I could be hanging out at a cafe in Peru. I would not have been surprised to see a morochuco tie up his horse, and sidle in to enjoy some pisco and anticuchos at the bar!

I don't usually re-review places, but this spot more than deserves the extra credit. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and book a resy--you'll see why it has all the hype. They've even added weekend brunch, which I cannot wait to try next visit! Pro tip: if you spot something new on the menu, go for it. I did, and every bite was a win. The Japanese-inspired ceviche was a knockout--layered with flavors and textures that I could honestly eat this dish every single day. dessert? Game changer. I've never been big on tres leches, but their white chocolate version completely won me over. Dare I say, I may have liked it even more than my former go-to, the s'mores on fire. Both are must-trys, so definitely save room for dessert! Remember there are only so many tables in the restaurant so if you are looking to book peak weekend time slots, please reserve well in advance. Llama's instagram page has all of their latest updates on brunch, new menu items, etc. I usually glance at their insta for a heads up of any new items I want to try. Keep an eye out for yourself.

We arrived at Llama on Anastasia Island during a storm at 4:55 p.m. and stood outside under the tin overhang while dirty water dripped on us. The lady at the bar and two waiters could clearly see us through the windows, yet instead of opening four minutes early, they simply watched us stand there in the rain. When they finally opened, we walked into an empty restaurant. We were literally the first customers there and the place was completely empty. We asked to be seated and were told by the hostess that reservations only were accepted. We then asked if we could at least sit at the bar and eat there, but she said the bar was only for people waiting and no food would be served there. What makes this even more frustrating is that when you drive by, there is nothing indicating reservations are required. We discovered the restaurant while passing through the area and were excited to try it. The flavors may be unique, but the attitude felt unnecessarily pretentious for a restaurant that should make more of an effort to accommodate walk ins, especially when the dining room was empty.

My first time visit the wonderful Llama Restaurant was such an amazing time! The interior was ever so relaxing, comfortable and the dining area was filled with happy customers. From my passion fruit mocktail, to the appetizers then the entree followed by the dessert trio extravaganza...Ohhhh Myyyyy...Deliciosostyle...Up, down and all around! The amazing staff were extremely attentive and welcoming from my arrival all the way to my departure. Making me feel right at home and wanting to return again very soon. Special shoutout to our server extraordinaire, Kendall for your hospitality and helping make our dining experience a truly memorable one. When visiting Saint Augustine, don't hesitate to make reservations and visit this one of a kind restaurant. Hopefully we'll see eachother there!

Incredible experience for foodies! We did the 4 course chef special and every bite was as memorable as the next. The chef sourced ingredients all over the world. Kendall was so kind and gave us great recommendations for our vacation. They also offer wine pairing for the special but we did not alcoholic drinks that were just as tasty. The portions were large so we had plenty of leftovers. Keep in mind there are 10 ish tables so make sure to make a reservation. The cherry on top was the bidets in the bathroom. Make sure you come here on your last night of vacation otherwise everywhere else will disappoint ;)

We came to this restaurant on our last night in St Augustine, the restaurant is a small quaint feeling, with room enough room between tables. The host took us to our seat and gave us the menu, very cute soft leather looking book. Then we were greeted by the waitress which ask if we had been there before, our friends had already been and they had gotten a good experience. We started with the drinks, I had the maracuya mismosa which had a great tart taste mixed with mango and the crisp of the prosecco. On the table there was baked sweet potato crisp chips with chanca which are Peruvian corn like chips. We ordered the appetizers and the entree at the same time as they take all orders at the time since everything is prepared fresh. For the appetizers we had the Pulpo which is octopus it came in a form of a gazpacho thinly sliced, very tender that melted in your mouth along with a little purple sauce that kicked it up a notch to perfection . After our appetizers our waitress came by and drop off a delicious palate cleanser to sip on before your entree comes out. Note that each dish has a wonderful presentation. We ordered the Mar y Tierra (surf and turf). This is a tender hanger steak with shrimp, pasta, and fresh vegetables. We also ordered Ceviche Classico this is a traditional serving of Ceviche with sweet potatoes, crispy chulpe corn, giant Andean corn, Leche de Tigre, topped with purple onions. My husband got the Tallarines Verdes a hanger steak which was super tender and a pappardelle pasta in a pesto cream finished with their limo pepper soy glaze it was delicious. Reservations are highly recommended. Pricing is a bit higher than normal but the overall experience is worth it. This is a must try if you are ever in St. Augustine.

I had a wonderful experience. We arrived slightly early for our reservation and got to wait at the bar and order a drink. I got the Passion Mimosa, it was a very balanced and elevated version of a passion fruit mimosa that I really enjoyed. When we sat we were given a nice snack of roasted Peruvian nuts of some sort and plantains. Gabriel, our server, recommended the Ceviche Lima. It was really fun hearing the story behind the dish and it was incredibley fresh, I personally loved the sweet potato in this dish as well as the slight heat from the peppers. Before our entrees, a small pour of their sangria was given to us as a pallet cleanser, which was a nice touch. I ordered the Tallarines Verdes with the Pork Belly and it was one of my favorite dishes in a long time, the best pork belly i've ever personally had. I enjoyed my dish with a glass of their delicious tempranillo. My boyfriend got the Mar Y Tierra without shrimp (allergy), and the chef subbed in an extra piece of hangar steak which was delicious as well. We then went with the S'mores dessert as our finisher and it had a big flame! The dessert itself was good but simple for my taste, should've went with Gabriel's recommendation to try the tres leches! Overall had a great experience from staff, to ambiance, to the food. Definitely recommend as my favorite spot in St. Augustine.

Date night on Anastasia Island, enjoying Peruvian Cuisine at Llama feels like you are magically transported to a mini vacation to Peru. Artful presentations of Peruvian food featured in a charming setting with an intimate feel. Owner and chef Marcel Vizcarra is young, ambitious and talented. Add his talent to the attentive, friendly service and pair it with creative plating We started with the bowl of warm crunchy roasted purple corn and yucca chips as appetizer so addicting + unexpectedly delicious! Delight your taste buds with an explosion of flavors with the mango ceviche, a fresh contrast of sweetness, citrus and spicy heat topped with an edible Passion flower so sweet + succulent. Palate cleansers with tamarind, lime and mint.

Everything was awesome from drinks, appetizer, Mains, and dessert. Service was on point. Food was amazingly delicious! Beautiful presentation too. Appetizer -- Anticuchos - marinated chargrilled beef heart skewers. So good you wouldn't think it's beef hearts. Mains -- Mar Y Tierra - surf and turf of the most iconic cuisine dish of Peru. -- Cordero Cusqueño(roasted rack of lamb marinated with Andean herbs and spices. Dessert -- Sacred Valley - Quillabamba cacao mousse, Lucuma fruit puree drizzled with spiced chocolate sauce. Drinks - Peruvian IPA and Yerba Mate I Highly recommend this place. Reservation is required.

Eating at Llama was a great experience. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. The service was exceptional, I wish I remembered the girls name to give her a personal shoutout, but she was very helpful in ordering. Ambiance is intimate and cozy, which was great for our double date to be able to catch up and hear each other.
