They are very knowledgable and help me to decide what we need. The price they offered are also very competitive as well. Most of their products are around $3 to $4 cheaper than other stores. "Lumber Liquidators, beautiful floors for less" is a joke! I thought I was getting the best deal with all the bids I was given. They came in and tore up my whole downstairs disconnecting my water and gas stove/oven. Then they called and told me they can't install until I pay $1500 more for leveling. Feeling desperate for a working kitchen I had to cave. I did talk them down after crying on the phone but not much. Don't buy from them. They'll bait and switch you. They are not cheap, have awful customer service AFTER they install and it took them 2 weeks to finally install after having an unlivable downstairs. They'll say they're inexpensive and they'll start adding with all of the labor costs. Unfortunately for them, I have more floors to do in my home and my dad owns many properties that he updates yearly. He has used them in the past. Never again. I am so glad I took the time to check out Lumber Liquidators. I had already spent a few hours at Lowe's and Home Depot comparing different flooring materials, cost, and researching online reviews. I had narrowed my search down to two possible laminate options when I decided to drive into Bellevue to Lumber Liquidators. I immediately found hardwoods at a better price than laminate at the big box stores. I was not expecting to find so much value in their products. I immediately reconsidered what I was able to afford and started looking into wood flooring. The prices were cheaper, the R value was higher, the boards were thicker. I was looking for 760 sq ft of flooring for an outdoor yurt that would have a lot of seasonal changes in humidity and temperature. Andy Thammavongsa, the Assistant Manager, helped me all along the way. We decided to go for a Morning Star bamboo floor ($2.96/sqft) for minimal expansion due to humidity changes and quiet walk underlayment w/ moisture barrier ($50/roll). I have never installed a floor and Andy instructed me on everything I needed to do for DIY. The installation went really smoothly, especially considering we were cutting the ends of the boards to make a circle instead of 90 degees for a square room. I had a little trouble with the joints of a few boards for clicking them into place. I eventually got most of them in place and maybe had one or two boards out of all the boxes that were no good at the joints. The floor turned out beautifully (installed June 2015) and so far it is doing great with no dings after moving furniture in and living (October 2015). I kept one box for future repairs and even had a few boxes leftover and returning them was easy. I am really pleased with the floor and the customer service I received along the way and would definitely do business with them again. I feel like I received beautiful floors at a great value and can't imagine if I had installed laminate as I originally planned. read more

This is the worse customer experience I have ever had. We walked in and one of the sales guys said he would be with us in a minute, we walked around in the store for another 10 mins and he did not even bother checking in. This is our first time with flooring work and we had many questions, and would have been happy with some help!!! We even saw there were 2 other sales guys who had no other customers, but they were all just hanging out near the front desk and talking when they knew we were waiting for them! I have never felt this un-welcome in any store. It is almost as if they didn't care. Later that evening we went to 3 other flooring stores and they were so much more helpful! And from what I can tell there are places which carry laminate and wood at the same cost if not cheaper. (Carpet liquidators are good, they are reasonably priced and friendly sales staff) read more

I cannot say enough good things about Lumber Liquidators and, in particular, this store. We initially got a quote to do our hardwood floors (material + install) but the price was outrageous so we thought to check our Lumber Liquidators. We worked with a guy named Jhon who was extremely helpful and quite personable. He really went the extra mile. Not only did he help us pick the flooring and install details but when it came time to pickup the material and we ran into some snags, he rolled up his sleeves and loaded the rest of the material by hand. The selection was amazing, price unbeatable and most of all the service was incredible. This experience has made my family and I lumber liquidators customers for life! We took a sample home with us and waited to purchase it because we were quite ready to pull the trigger yet. After doing some research and verifying that they were the best bang for our buck I called them up and sure enough our wood was on sale and it was the lowest price they have ever had it listed at. Great selection of wood and laminate. The sales staff were also very helpful with us and patient with our questions. I am also happy with the time it took to receive our product at the store (we picked it up their ourselves to save delivery fee). The one thing I am upset about is their return policy and their post-purchase customer service is horrible. I don't blame the store for this - it is a corporate-level policy and anyone considering a purchase should carefully review the policy. The company policy is that you must return within 30 days. Think about that before you purchase. It seems like plenty of time, but it may not be. In our case, we didn't install immediately. We had several weeks lag time between purchase and installation. Some of this was to allow the materials to adjust to our climate, the other lag time was due to delays in other parts of our home remodel. How often do major remodels go exactly as planned? It is difficult to time properly, and in our case, we discovered that we had way too many boxes due to our contractors measuring error. By the time we found out, it was past 30 days. This manager refused to let us return and actually suggested we sell it on Craigslist. Are you kidding me? Again, I can't really blame the manager or store staff. They do what corporate tells them to do. This is an example of business-focused policy, designed to maximize profit. It is not customer-focused. Our floor materials are a popular seller, so they would be able to re-sell. While I am happy with the product, I will not do business with this company again unless I am certain of how long the project will take. I do not recommend them unless you are sure of how much time you need and then pick it up or deliver it as close as possible to the exact day you will begin installing. read more

Not very good experience with the store. I was interested in hardwood, went to their store. Andy and Giovanni were very polite, so placed an order for 1200 sq ft wood and requested them to send some one to measure and quote the price of installation (paid $25). After few days guy showed up and measured the floor and then 4 weeks passed no call/ email from them. Went to the store again after met Keith, he promised some one will show up at my residence again. BUT nothing. Called them multiple time but no body picks up the phone. emailed didn't work either so I went back to the store after 2 weeks and cancelled the order. On top they will not refund the $ 25.00 I paid. What a waste of time and money. read more

I got some of their natural ash wood to redo my kitchen for my home in Bellevue. The kitchen looks great. There's a 100 year warranty on it, so I really don't have to worry about it starting to look like shit in another 80 years. I couldn't find ash wood anywhere cheaper even on the internet. The guy that helped me out was named Max. He's a big friendly giant of a dude. He kind of looks like he was raised to be Paul Bunyon's kid or something. Wow did I get a frosty reception when I indicated that I was looking for really cheap flooring. Funny thing is that all of their Internet ads say that is what they specialise in. However, when you get down to it, the large Home hardware chains are just as competetive in their online stores. Hey ho, hey ho, it's off to Home Despot I go, lol. We installed it ourselves so it took awhile, (over the 30 day return policy) and when we called to see if we could still return a couple of unopened boxes, they were more than accomadating and understanding. The worst customer service around. We had to wait over 20 minutes to even be acknowledged. We ended up placing an order, when we came to pick it up someone who came AFTER me was helped and car was loaded before mine. About 45 minutes later, the car was finally loaded. The girl with the crazy makeup said she would "notify the installers" never heard from there 4 days later, had to call myself and leave two messages. Still no response. So frustrating!!!! read more

Called on Tuesday, was told they would look into why it wasn't delivered, Wednesday the same response and then Thursday they said they just realized it wasn't shipped. worse store I have ever dealt with, called and paid for home measurement, they did that and got a messy estimate from them and themselves could not figure out what installer did on quote, then they were supposed to call me and give me separated out quote. they never called after 5 days, I followed up and find out the sales person no longer works there and they didn't bother passing my work estimate to someone else to handle. They are good if you want to install the floor yourself, buy the material and say goodbye but they are absolutely horrible at install and follow up work, What I don't understand businesses push buyer o buy material from them and have them install it, because of great margin, I don't understand why they are so uninterested to get the business read more

Bought about 1200 square feet of Carbonized Strand Bamboo flooring and I am super disappointed in the quality of the flooring. The brand was their main bamboo flooring brand. It is like a sponge with moisture. Around the registers it shrinks and separates. The finish is not very durable either. I feel like I wasted a lot of money. read more

I have bought and had installed laminate floors from 3 different companies. Two of these companies did a good job. The third company was Lumber Liquidators. Their installers did a terrible job. They did not leave any room for the laminate to expand and contract. As a result all the laminate has buckled. The laminate itself is also not that durable. I need to get the floor redone which will cost me another few thousand dollars but I would not consider using guys again. read more

I've had good and bad experiences with this store. They have lots of options, lots of stock and many local stores, however If you have an issue with the product your buying however, watch out.. They will do nothing without some effort on your part. Bought some laminate flooring to do an office in my home. As I was unpacking the laminate I came to realize that a large amount of the boards had chips in the laminate. Thought I could still finish the job with what I had and just planned on using those for end pieces. After going through 60% of the flooring I had I realized I was barely half way across the room. I packaged up the uncut pieces and attempted to exchange the remaining boxes for another brand there that I have previously purchased and had good success with. I got met with they could do that but I would be charged a 20% restocking fee, all while still eating the cost of a full box from having to make end cuts (which I did not attempt to exchange as in all fairness the pieces were either ripped for cut). I also had the option of dealing the manufacturer to attempt a warranty claim but I had no interest in continuing the room with this product and simply wanted to use the money I spend on another product there. I would expect a company to stand behind a product they sell. There wasn't anyone there who could make any real decisions at 4pm on a weekday on how we could resolve this so I ended up negotiating to keep my restocking fee by purchasing more product at a higher price that I would have paid if I would have purchase this product at the time I purchased the original materials a week ago. Many places in the area sell this flooring, definitely shop around for a company that will stand behind what they sell. read more

There is a reason that there are so many negative reviews for Lumber Liquidators online. I ordered several items from Lumber Liquidators and also paid shipping fee for them. However, the delivery was delayed and some items were missing in the delivery. The driver promised to deliver the missing items by USPS later. Apparently, they are never delivered. I tried to contact their customer service, but it seems their customer service never exists. After spending a very long time to contact them with alternative ways, they refunded the money for the missing items but they refused to refund the shipping fee even if they didn't deliver the whole order. They never admit their fault. Instead, they told me if I kept everything confident, I could get part of my shipping fee back as their "goodwill gesture". They even sent a forged invoice to my credit card company by removing the missing items in the order. Will you trust a business like this? read more
