They gave us a good price in carpet, but, the installation was horrible. The baseboard trims in all of my rooms were scratched at multiple places when the carpet was installed. Some parts of the wall also had scuff marks. We now have to figure out how to touch up the paint on the trims to hide the scratch marks. The installers also forgot to vacuum one of the stairs, left plastic bundles around my house. We contacted our contact in carpet liquidators about this few weeks ago, but, we have not heard anything back. I just wish I had read some of the other reviews before deciding to get carpet from them. read more

We were looking for natural 100% Wool carpet. After shopping at other stores where the prices were way out of our budget we wandered into Carpet Liquidators nearby not even expecting to find such a high end product. Not only did they have 100% wool they had a great selection of remnant rolls for an unbelievable price. Measure and install was fast and easy. We will always come here for our carpet. Kurt Schultz was so helpful in finding us the perfect carpet for our needs. He walked the store and provided me with samples of anything that caught my eye. I called around for price comparison and their prices were lower than all the other places for the same product! Kurt had someone come to the house to measure within a week and he had quotes to us the next day. Our carpet install was scheduled 2 weeks later and went flawlessly. Kurt in the showroom was very helpful in helping us pick out the right carpet and pad at the best price. Carpet Liquidators has excellent prices. We were just going to buy the carpet there and then have and employee from a friend's carpet installation company install the carpet on his own time. But even with that discount, Carpet Liquidators still beat the price. The house looks great and I would highly recommend CL. I do have a couple of caveats however. The person who did the measure from the store came and was gone in five minutes and we never had time to talk to him about anything. So we didn't get any questions answered nor were we able to tell him about a couple of specific requests. So we had to wait till the installers came out to cover those things. Because of that, the installers didn't know they were going to have to put down new tack strip; they thought it was just a re-carpet job. To CL's credit, however, we were not charged extra. And we wanted a specific type of transition done where the carpet meets the bathroom and kitchen tile. Because they didn't know they were going to do that, they did not bring the right material. They did the best they could with what they had, but what we ended up with was a lot of sharp points from tacks at the edges of the carpet where it meets the tile. They made an effort to pound them down, but we are still catching our feet on them regularly. To be truly great, CL need to have the person who does the measure come out and spend some time with the homeowners, ironing out the details. To their credit, the guy who did the measure did wear a mask while he was here and the installers also wore masks until we left. read more

I love this place! We got our last carpet from them and it lasted 10 years even with 2 dogs and it was one of the lowest priced carperts. This time we went with a really nice cushy carpet that was still a great price and it makes the whole house cosier. I also suggest getting the rug pad. Great quality and only added like $30 to our 12 x 14 area rug.. Kurt was super friendly and easy to work with. This is the only place we will buy rugs or carpets! Great place, kinda like costco but for carpets. They have only a very limited choices of colors for each brand, but you can't beat their prices, almost at wholesale since they buy in bulk from what they explained to me. We have never bought carpets, but we came in here and the sales person explained everything and gave us some good recommendations. This review is only based on my experience with getting a quote and scheduling a measure. Came in tonight to get a quote for my rental property. Nancy was so helpful and courteous. She offered us professional advice without being pushy. We went to another carpet store prior to coming to Carpet Liquidators. Not only was Carpet Liquidators quote cheaper but we also got a much higher quality product. The shop itself is a warehouse so don't expect to be walking into a showroom where everything is laid out neatly. I'm a carpet newb so I was confused by the gigantic rolls of carpet everywhere but Nancy helped is navigate our way through. This is a great start to the service! The price was incredible and the sales guy was really nice and helpful. The available selection was limited though so I'm not sure I would return if looking for high quality flooring for my own house long term. John brought the carpet samples based on what I was looking for and I found exactly the right carpet without the hassle of going into a store. The installation guys arrived on time and installed the carpet and pad very quickly and it looks fantastic. The only issue was some scuff marks to the walls (which had just been newly painted) and some slight damage to the trim . We had our carpet replaced by Carpet Liquidators earlier this month. Matthew in the Kirkland store gave me lots of good help to make it a good experience. Their price was better than the big box stores' and two independent contractors'. Installation crew came on the day of the appointment and did a quick job. Everything looks good. The only issue we had was the crew scratched the new paint on the wall. We called the painter back and we still had the same paint in the garage. Was an easy fix. First I found the perfect remnant for my bedroom, they told me installers were 2-3 weeks out and that wasn't gonna work for me, next thing I know he was on the phone with different installers seeing if they could make it happen sooner since it was only a few hour job. I went to Home Depot and they tossed me around for 40 minutes before finally not helping me and so I came here! They had a huge selection of remnant pieces in the back to choose from! Very slow and poor communication. We went in picked out a carpet and scheduled and paid for the measurement and estimate. We were told they would call call to schedule in the next 1-2 days never heard back until 5 days later. They came 2 days later to measure. They didn't get the estimate to us until a week later. So almost 2 weeks to get an estimate. When I got the estimate back the amount of carpet they said was required was over 25% more than the area I wanted covered plus they under counted number of steps. I asked for an explanation I was told that the carpet is sold in rolls and they have to over purchase. Ok. Fine but 25% more? The sales guy said he'd call me back to go over the estimate. He never did. So just just the slowness and unprofessional manner of the sales person plus the questionable estimate means I'm looking else where. read more

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this company and it's staff. They managed to get measurements in what was a field of clutter and boxes, were completely professional in all of their dealings with us, the sales agent (Kurt) at the showroom had plenty of great samples and excellent price options for us, and in the end, installation for our entire three story townhouse took 1 day, and we are thrilled with the results. This is a rare one star rating for me but our experience warrants sharing. This is specific to customer service at the Kirkland store only and not regarding the product which looked to be of good quality and reasonable price even though we did not purchase. A couple of weeks ago, we arrived at the store with the intent to give them all of our flooring business for an entire home remodel. We were met by a seemingly pleasant guy who said he would be with us momentarily as he assisted another customer. We looked around and found some carpet we liked then moved on to wood flooring while we waited our turn. Once we had their attention, every question we asked from product specs to their installation process seemed to be a private battle between the two guys working that day. After 20ish minutes of backhanded comments and utter disinterest in our needs, we felt so uncomfortable that we left and went to one of the large chain stores where we probably spent more on similar products and had to wait longer for installation but the staff was customer focused and definitely not on the verge of a brawl. Unfortunately for Carpet Liquidators Kirkland, we spent five figures on flooring for our remodel project that they could have had if not for their interpersonal issues. Hopefully they will read this and realize the importance of putting on a happy face to the customer even if you hate your coworkers. read more

They were great, carpet quality was amazing, process was quick and painless and we had new carpet installed within 7 days! My husband and I have been looking at replacing our carpet for a couple of years. I have visited large chain home improvements stores and had carpeting priced out several times. We saw an advertisement for Carpet Liquidators on a Sunday, decided to stop by and found an amaaazing quality of carpet that I knew was a very good price for what it was. I decided to see what kind of quality I thought I had by going into Home Depot with the swatch. The carpet person felt the carpet and pointed me over to the 'expensive area' where I found a similar product for almost twice as much as CL was charging me. We decided right then and there. From the beginning, Andrew Rodriguez was friendly, helpful and not pushy. A few days after our initial visit, they were out measuring and they told us that they had an opening for installation open up the following weekend. I was floored that they could get out that soon! (I had been recently quoted about 4-5 weeks from order to installation from Home Depot). The day of installation came and they showed up when they said they would, the guys were quick and did a beautiful job. All for about 3/4 of what it would have cost us at HD for a lesser quality carpet and no wait. Thanks Andrew, thanks CL, we are thrilled! P.S. Always go with the 10lb pad, you will NOT be disappointed, it is like walking on a marshmallow! Yum! read more
