I had an excellent experience with Best Buy Floors when updating the counters, sinks and faucets in our kitchen and two baths. People have gasped with astonishment when shown the before and after photos! They are pleasant and professional to work with and provide amazing service at a fair price. They tore out our outdated "breakfast counter" and the demo was done in one day. I've never experienced such clean demo work -- they did NOT make a HUGE mess like other groups have done with other projects. Their tile templater sized everything perfectly so that all pieces fit with no waste. They installed the sinks and faucets we purchased quickly and everything works as they should. They had the backsplash tile I wanted in stock and those installers did beautiful work as well. I loved working with Miguel and Aldo and look forward to working with them again in the Fall for a flooring project. Don't hesitate! Go to Best Buy Floors and speak with the professional artisans there for your next project. You will be glad you did. read more

I was in a West Bellevue neighborhood picking up a piece of furniture I'd found on Facebook Marketplace. When I arrived, it became clear the piece wasn't going to fit in our SUV. Out of nowhere, Miguel stepped around the corner, helped me lift the couch, and then offered an even bigger kindness--he suggested I borrow his van so I could transport it. He called his son at the showroom to confirm it was available and told me they'd be ready when I arrived. When I walked into the showroom, Miguel Jr. greeted me with, "Hello, Mr. Ferguson." He immediately recognized me as his middle school principal from more than a decade ago. The entire experience reminded me how genuinely kind and generous Miguel and his family are. I would highly recommend the Bellevue Design Center by BestBuy Floors to anyone looking for people who lead with integrity and community spirit. read more

Excellent carpet replacement work done by Best Buy Floors! The cheap carpet pad in my upstairs was deteriorating causing my carpet to ripple and look unsightly. I had already stretched it once about 2 years ago but then my two dogs also started marking certain spots so I finally decided to switch it all out. I opted for a waterproof Healthier Choice foam carpet pad and Shaw Pet+ carpet and asked for an additional cork 3mm underlayment beneath the pads to hopefully help with sound. The team was able to get the project done in a day and I couldn't be happier! I'll definitely work with Best Buy for future flooring needs! read more

Quick and quality install. Pricing was fair and options were great. I loved the response time and professional service.

Oh, and after they did our floors in the upstairs bathroom they somehow messed up the toilet and left it leaking. We provided them with a new ring and they couldn't get it right. read more

I wish they hadn't left the toilet ring glue on my wall and new floor. We paid extra because they brought the wrong base boards and then they left the stairs undone! read more

Came in as a last ditch effort to find flooring we needed. Was greeted by Aldo, incredibly friendly and professional. Helped us work through the various selections. We left the store with a good plan in mind and called back to finalize our purchase. Was informed that it would take a week to arrive and that there would be a 30% restocking fee. At that time, it was what it was. We accepted the ramifications of returning if we over ordered. Fast forward to a completed project, and we indeed had several boxes left to return. We called to share that we would need to do a return. Advised that we could drop it back off at their store. Upon dropping off, Aldo shared that there might be an additional shipping fee. That they would need to check with their vendor. After several days of not hearing anything, the next successful communication, the narrative had now changed to that we weren't able to do a return because our box count was under the minimum. Was advised we would need to return and retrieve the boxes we had dropped off. When we expressed discontent with their solution, the options that were given were, we could hold onto the products and they could try and find a new buyer, talk directly with their vendor to convince them to accept a return. At the end, it took a conversation with the owner to accept the return with the agreed 30% reduction for restocking. Lesson for next customers: - get their return policy in writing! - confirm eligibility of quantity required to return, have it written! read more

I've used Best Buy Floors twice now for hardwood in my home. They are the best in the business and I'd recommend them to anyone. The work is superb. They perfectly matched original red oak hardwoods we had, you can't tell a different between the new and old floor because they are seamless. The water based finish is beautiful. Miguel's knowledge of flooring is beyond reproach. He is very responsive via text and phone call. They are never late and in fact, often finish earlier than expected. read more

Best Buy Floors did a superb job redoing my family room and kitchen floor. Due to a mishap when having outside siding replaced, my kitchen floor flooded, ultimately requiring the boards to be pulled and replaced. I decided to have the carpet in the adjoining family room pulled up and replaced with hardwood as well. The team was knowledgeable, very efficient (such hard workers!), Polite and detail oriented. They arrived on time each day and clean up was meticulous when they left. Shout out to Hector, Freddie, Chawa, Alfredo and Marcello. They also moved all the very heavy furniture for me (returning on a Saturday) and did a walk through and touch up so that I was completely satisfied. Thanks to Miguel and his team, I have a beautiful new floor!! read more

We love our luxury floor tile! Justin installed it in our bath and laundry room and helped us decide the layout of the tile for a beautiful result. Our floor was not level, so he applied a material to make it smooth as glass. Justin had to make a lot of cuts around doors, etc. that turned out great. We are also EXTREMELY pleased with the excellent customer service provided by Aldo! He gave us fast responses to all our questions, scheduled a quick install time and came to our home to help us to figure out what to do. Aldo is professional, personable and a joy to work with. I could not be more pleased with my new floor and the help I received! read more

This company is terrific. They listened to what we were looking for and made great suggestions. Great value. Quality installers. Although we decided to do something else with our place, I want to compliment Alex on his prompt reply to our inquiry and following up on our project. He also noticed a minor security issue while visiting to give his estimate and asked me if he could help me correct it while he was there. This was especially important to us since we are currently out of state. I only took one star off because we didn't work with them fully and thus unable to rate all their work. We will certainly keep Best Floors in mind when we plan future projects. read more

We got engineered hardwood installed in our condo and absolutely recommend Best Buy Floors to anybody looking to get new floors. They were everything you could ask for- knowledgeable, professional and experts at what they do. My husband and I wanted hardwood that wouldn't move when we walked on it plus had good sound rating, keeping in mind our downstairs neighbors. Maria really helped us from the start, selecting the product, walking us through the process and as a result we always felt we were in good hands. We ended up with beautiful hardwood in our house that feels better than we ever imagined. I will definitely go back to Best Buy Floors when I am ready to get the bedrooms done. read more

There is a saying when choosing the right contractors...there are 3 things you want...you can, if you are lucky, have 2..never 3. These are Price, Quality, and Timeliness. Well...I am here to say that with Miguel and Alex you do indeed get all 3. In fact I'd add another..integrity which speaks to the pride and personal touch of a family run business. I have used these people for many years on many projects. Having had bad experiences with other contractors in the past, I recognize the efforts put in to building a successful business based on quality and customer service. I have used them for projects involving hardwood, engineered hardwood, all kinds of tile work , and carpets. imwould not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. read more

Thank you Best Buy Floors for coming through for us very last minute! We needed flooring for our rental home and not only did Priscila, Alex & Maria go out of their way to make sure I knew about the best flooring options: pricing, material, best for rentals, colors etc, but they also expedited the whole process. I ultimately went with LVP and had it installed without any issues. They were quick to answer all of my questions, pricing was clear, and installation went smooth. These guys come through big time! These guys are my go-to for carpet. I was very happy with their carpet install 2 years ago, and I of course went straight back to them for another project this year. Junior was awesome each time. Alex is always very friendly and helpful. On the second install, Junior and the owner himself came out and moved the furniture and everything. I just really appreciate their kindness and the fact that they seem to always be available on a short notice. read more

Worth not wasting any time. The father son duo will quote different prices for floor installation and will not budge then. Their quoted price were also higher for hardwood floors sold by other retailers in the area. They never showed up for measurements in-house after multiple commitments and follow up messages. Eventually had to visit their store 3 times just to get an estimate quote on my email with different quoted prices than verbally discussed. Owner was outright rude about not wanting to waste his workers time by coming down for appointment which I didn't bother much but someone else would. it appeared that they would have some telepathy magic powers to be able to install the floor remotely . read more

We just put luxury vinyl plank in our main living areas and are extremely happy with the whole process. They installed a rubber gym floor for us and I couldn't recommend them more highly. They were incredibly responsive to our communications. Everyone was a pleasure to talk to. Would highly recommend considering them for your floor project! read more

A patch of my old carpet pad was damaged, and I was looking for a way to buy a small replacement section, rather than having to buy an entire roll from a place like Home Depot. I called Best Buy Floors, hoping (though not expecting) they might be able sell me some. I spoke with Alex who, to my surprise, immediately said yes, and it would be about $20. Super-reasonable! When I showed up, he had the pad ready for me. He ended up giving me a substantial amount that I could cut as needed. He was ready to send me on my way without asking for money. When I asked him how much it came to, he refused to take any money at all. Wow! I haven't used them to do actual flooring contracting, but from this experience I can say they certainly seem accommodating! read more

Adding more details as a response to Miguel's comment. 1. As I indicated in the details below, time and dates were first communicated by Alex, and they were not kept. 2. I have not asked for a ridiculous discount. You are making a false accusation. I never even specified any amount. I just asked for a discount stating that there are discrepancies in the expectation. When Alex came back with the updated number, it was less than 1% of original quoted price. 3. When I wrote 20~30% higher, I received quotes from other companies. It wasn't based on my original budget. Miguel, I would like you to read the email thread that I had with Alex. I would also be happy to further explain my complaint. You can message me with your number, if you would like to be contacted. - Original Review - It's hard for me to believe that this flooring company drawn so many positive reviews. Although my experience is only limited to getting the project estimate, the exchanges throughout the process was bit distressful. In short, the estimate I received was 20%~30% higher than other estimates and appointments and follow ups were delayed. Whoever is looking to do the floors, my advice to you is make sure to get quotes from multiple places - at least 3 and you will be surprised. I have left the details, if you care to read more. When we walked in to their showroom, the experience was great. Alex assisted me promptly, was attentive, and scheduled for floor measurement on the next day. Until here, I was thinking this business would hold up to all these good reviews. Then it slowly went sideways. Alex has first postponed the appointment on the day of measurement. Not a great start, but understandable, because notice was given in the morning for 1pm appointment. He suggested 9 am the next day, so I said yes, but no reply back - confirmation came only after I asked for it and the reply came back well after 10pm. On the day of measurement, he showed up 25 minutes late for it, and it kept getting worse. He promised estimates by EOD, but later postponed twice and ended up providing the estimates 2 days later after the measurement. Installation cost estimate 20~30% higher than other vendors. At first I thought this was just a car's MSRP thing that they do for the business that no one really pay for. He did mention that their estimates may be higher, since they offer quality work with no hidden or surprise fee, but it still couldn't justify the price difference. With all these positive reviews for this business with some praising their competent price, I was hoping to give them another try by negotiating the price. I kept convincing myself that this was just a hiccup and the project will be fine after all. I was dead wrong. I have asked if they could provide me with a better estimate with a discount. I even said that I will be willing to pay little extra for the quality work. Alex replied saying that he will work on giving me the best number he can. Later he came back with $150 discount from the original quote. When I asked for what discount I am getting, he mentioned that the price is cheaper by $1500. This was because I asked for some stairs to be in carpet instead of hardwood flooring, but the actual discount was not even a 1% of the total project estimate. I finally gave up. When you ask for a quote or get a discount with updated quote, make sure you read and pay attention to what has changed. Otherwise, it would bite you back. read more

I worked with Maria and Alex from Best Buy Floors when installing engineered hardwood at my condo. The process went smoothly - I felt fully informed of my options and what choices I had to make from the initial consultation. Maria was very patient in walking through all the details - warranty, tradeoffs for various options, installation details, etc. After settling on the installation, Alex helped me choose the wood and provided numerous samples that I could bring home and try out in different light. Installation was just as smooth. The workers were punctual, very careful when moving the furniture (including covering it up to avoid collecting dust) and the finished product was perfect. There were no gaps, squeaks or imperfections in the floor. They were diligent in their work and came back to touch up the few corners that were scuffed during the process. Maria and I did the walk-through, which yielded no defects and she provided information on how to care for the wood, any follow ups I may have and answered all of my questions. Overall, it was a very smooth process. Coming from someone as detail-oriented as myself, I couldn't have asked for a better job of communication, transparency and quality of the job. I highly recommend Best Buy Floors! read more

We were very pleased with the carpeting and installation for our new condo. We worked with Priscilla, who was professional and efficient. We met her in the showroom, received several samples which she had shipped to us for review from the manufacturer. Once we selected the color, she came in to measure and gave us a firm delivery date. We actually were able to get the carpeting installed a couple of days early. The installers came this past Saturday and took only 3+ hours. They vacuumed and took away the old carpeting and scraps. We highly recommend them. read more

Our experience with Best Buy Floors was first-rate from start to finish. I am a stickler for customer service. Although our job was small - just one room - I felt we received the full attention of our customer rep Priscila. She educated us on the pros and cons of the carpet samples that we were considering, then arranged a quick order of the carpet that was in stock so we didn't have to wait weeks for a new run to be delivered, then followed up to insure we were satisfied. The carpet installers were the best I've ever used, courteous and giving attention to every detail. Best Buy Floors was great to work with on re-flooring our home! They did our carpet, laminate, hardwood refinishing, as well hardwood installation. The customer service is exceptional. We were in a really hectic season, and whatever I discussed on the phone with Maria and Priscila would be prepped waiting for me on arrival - samples to review, paperwork to sign, etc. And I didn't even ask for this. Just incredible. It was so helpful. The team is so prompt on communication, and they were patient in educating us on our options. Priscila managed our project, and she went above and beyond. She worked with our ever changing schedule to make sure the flooring was done prior to move in. Thanks, BBF! read more
