Project 2, installed wall tile and the plumbing for the Master bathroom soaker/tub. Projects 3, cut, sanded, stained, clear coated red oak 16ft hand rail for a 15 and 16 set of stairs. His accuracy, attention to details, use of advanced tools was demonstrated with identifying one of the walls of the guest bathroom was not straight/level and he made the appropriate modifications to fix the wall before he installed the wall tiles. He works very hard and cleans up when he finishes. You get a knowledgeable, quality mind and consciousness contractor that keeps his word and meets or exceeds your expectations. The quality of his workmanship wasn't so much the issue- but his attention to detail during the templating process. We chose two granite slabs for a large project which involved a 9 foot island and smaller project for another home. One of the slabs had a river of quartz running through the middle and was templated to be the center focal point of the island. When installation day came, we were surprised to find that the island had no quartz running through the center. We couldn't figure out what went wrong. When the second granite countertop was delivered to our daughter's home for install- there it was. The quartz was placed in front of the kitchen sink. This mistake really showed a lack of caring for customer wishes and a template appointment that was a waste of time. Pretty disappointing. Seams weren't that inconspicuous- I've since had other stone projects with smaller seams.

Instead of answering those questions, Tom responded in a dismissive and unprofessional way, asking whether I had read the estimate or looked at their website, and saying I could call him if I was "serious about doing business" with them. As a customer, I believe it is completely normal to ask detailed questions before hiring a contractor, especially for a home project involving cost, materials, and installation details. The lack of clear answers and the tone of the response made me lose confidence in moving forward with this company. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company if you expect clear communication and respectful customer service.

Mike Flammini did a great job on my garden stair project for an excellent price compared to the…read moreother quotes I received. The original wood stair that I had built by a neighborhood handyman started to deteriorate in just a couple years - wobbly, creaky, with split stringers. I put out a request for quotes on Yelp and Michael was very responsive and was able to come out on a weekend day for the estimate and start the work right away. His original estimate turned out to be low because the stair was in worse shape than either of us realized. But he kept me well-informed all along the way as to what he was finding. For convenience I paid him for the materials and it didn't appear that he marked those up at all. The angle of the stair is very awkward, fitting in between a raised garden bed, a stone retaining wall and a neighbor's fence. But Michael managed to pour a tiny concrete pad to support the stair and navigate all the obstacles. The finished stair is so much more sturdy than the original and should last for years! Michael is an honest young man trying to get his business started in a new state. He works long and hard (he stayed on the job until after 11pm one night!) and he'll go the extra mile to make sure his customer is satisfied.
