I contacted Atlantic Tile and Granite for a countertop project and received an initial estimate from Tom St. Clair. Before moving forward, I asked several reasonable clarification questions about what was included in the quote, such as removal/disposal, templating, fabrication, delivery, plumbing or appliance reconnection, timeline, etc which was unclear in the quote. Instead of answering those questions, Tom responded in a dismissive and unprofessional way, asking whether I had read the estimate or looked at their website, and saying I could call him if I was "serious about doing business" with them. As a customer, I believe it is completely normal to ask detailed questions before hiring a contractor, especially for a home project involving cost, materials, and installation details. The lack of clear answers and the tone of the response made me lose confidence in moving forward with this company. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company if you expect clear communication and respectful customer service. read more

My bathroom leaked and caused moss problems in my wall. They helped me replaced my tile in the shower area, extended the space, replaced the old fra pipes and also helped me do floor refinishing. Never delayed my projects, communicated with patience and took great responsibility for what ever happened. I still can not recommend Atlantic Tile and Granite. Atlantic did have the installer return and re-do the pattern work above the stove but as of to-date still finding issue where the grout is coming out along the base and seeing more chipped and warped tiles that were used. At this point I'm looking at a complete rip out and redo. :( read more

My experience was PERFECT. I chipped my countertop edge--large chip about 1/2" by 3/4". It was a huge chip. This company was one of five that said they could fix it. They scheduled a time and were right on time. The arrival window was 1-2, and they arrived just before 1:00. That is unheard of! The work was absolutely flawless. The is no way you could see if it had been chipped. I highly recommend this company for the service, communication and follow through. read more

They came and were earlier than the scheduled time to do my sink replacement. At the end, the sink replacement looked great, however, they had chipped my quartz countertop. When I had asked the people working on it what happened and that this would be a problem, they said it was pre-existing and that they didn't do this. I said it was not and they were rather insistent in saying it wasn't them. I had actually taken photos and a video prior to their work to document the state of the work space and had to show them the pictures and the video. They left and they just got epoxy resin and fixed the chip. If I had not shown them the videos and had proof, they would have left it chipped and insisted that it was my problem. Overall, that part was annoying and unprofessional to deny responsibility for damages done, but I am glad they were able to do the sink replacement and fix the chip. I would use them again, but I would make sure that I take photos and videos. read more

We worked with AT&G to do our kitchen 2 years ago and it was a stellar experience. We opted to use them again for our bathroom last summer, and with a change in contractor came a complete change in quality. If you are having them do anything other than tiling, please be prepared to basically manage the subcontractors yourself. Not once did the contractor stop by after demo started to ensure that the work would be, was in the process of, or was done properly. I was responsible for procuring fixtures, and he told me the wrong dimensions for the tub so it ended up being too large. Their subcontractors "forgot" a number of things, including leveling the floor beneath the tub (it is currently slightly slanted away from the drain) and building out the soapbox we were quoted for. I wasn't going to write a negative review, but the more I've had to live with this bathroom the more p***ed off I've gotten about how negligent they were at almost every turn. Seeing the grout between tub and floor tiles cracking open (!) after just a few months of use was the last straw. If you're looking for tiling and only tiling, by all means consider AT&G (+1 star for nice tiles). But if you want a full reno, do yourself a favor and keep looking. read more

I took a chance and contacted ATG based only on the Groupon deal for quartz. I knew nothing about this company but after three months of my asking questions via phone and emails and visiting the showroom three times, they have by far, exceeded my expectations. I have never had experience with a remodel and when my painter was unable to do the necessary remodel work, ATG Built was always there, at an urgent request. Nick (aka: "St. Nick"), the project manager, was very attentive, patient, and knowledgeable. Damien did an efficent and expert job at the demolition. The framing and quartz installation was impeccable (invisible seam and flawless caulking) by Nickoly and his workers. Ivan installed the floor tiles (replacement pieces) and matched them beatifully. They all were very skillful and listened to me and really accomplished what I was hoping. When there were obstacles, they politely resolved them. The administrative staff was also very top-notch! I would highly recommend ATG. They were exceptional in service, skill, knowledge, and products--all, in spite of the limitations of Covid. read more

Great work at a reasonable price. We got quotes for kitchen granite countertops from at least six companies and at first our worry was that Atlantic Tile & Granite was priced so low that we would get a bad job. After hesitating then visiting their yard we chose them and would happily use them again. They demo-ed and removed old tile counters and installed about 70 square feet of granite in a U-shaped kitchen with a raised bar, undermount sink, and granite windowsill. They kept both appointments, for measuring and then for demo and install, even though we are in a small town two hours away from their shop. They took great care on the measuring day when they made the templates, and did the demo and install on the same day during their second trip. No damage during the demo. Between their visits I went to their yard to choose where the cuts would be and they were helpful and flexible. I'm writing this at the granite raised bar and really enjoying looking at our upgraded kitchen. read more

I just received a quote from this company to do my Kitchen Countertops, my kitchen floor, both bathrooms. I had some tiles I got a good deal on so the Tile was Purchased to tile some of the areas, I have a small gallery kitchen and two small bathrooms. I was absolutely gobsmacked when they came back with the quotes. There was no square footage on the quote, no hourly rate and to lay probably100 square feet of pre-purchased tiles over 3200 dollars, that was just to lay the tile, there were additional cost for demolition, etc. 1400 for each bathroom just to rehook up the plumbing after they put the toilet in and the vanity. I don't think this company wants my business and lucky for them they will not be getting it. read more

Hmm kinda ok experience! We opted in with AT & G for our entire Kitchen remodeling. The Project manager, came up with design etc. The scheduled was delayed... he mentioned prior to signing contract to get kitchen at least functional within 2 weeks. And now its been almost 2 months and our kitchen is still NOT functional. And this was not enough, the sub contractor team never keeps up with schedules, comes late in the evening, leaves work partially done and unclean! They don't even want to take responsibility for cleaning anything. One of the sub contractor end up breaking our expensive and brand new Gas range. I would love to see if they can keep up with schedule and sub contractors work carefully. read more

We needed additional marble tile and a rough stone "frame" installed on our existing ventilator fireplace so it would meet the code for distance from the top vent to the nearest flammable surface. Ivan from Atlantic Tile and Granite arrived on time both days he needed to be here, and he is clearly an expert at his job. He added the new tiles and rough stone so beautifully that it looks like the fireplace was made that way originally. Both the existing and new marble tiles had a diagonal pattern, and he even made sure that pattern was slanted the same way when he installed the new tiles. I ended up helping my sister with a small cosmetic remodel in her kitchen. Replacing existing countertops, fixtures and sinks in her kitchen and a bath. Since she's not experienced in remodeling I ended up doing most of all communications with Atlantic Tile. I found them on Angies List with all positive reviews. I did interview and got quotes from other companies as well. Atlantic stood out in their promptness in everything they promised from beginning to the end with reasonable price. They were super efficient, very friendly and helpful. All the ladies in their office are fantastic! They are a company I can reply on and trust in their words unlike many others there that can barely get back to you with a quote lol. All their process was simple, on time and perfect as well as excellent communication. All the workers were super respectful and did an excellent job including the tile person who came out to do the tiles on the wall. What a fantastic company!! I started out at NW Granite and Marble and chose the MSI Calcatta Laza Quartz only to get an estimate for over $11,000 for my 74sq ft counters. We had 50 sq.ft of quartz countertop installed and it was very easy to work with Atlantic Tile & Granite throughout the process. Visited the showroom twice and Nataliya was patient and helpful. They quoted a price of $58/sq.ft plus tax which is the cheapest that we could find anywhere. That included "everything". The quality of work could not have been any better. On template day, Nick and Mark were there 10 mins early to the appointment to my surprise. On install day, the two folks (Leon and forgot other guys' name) removed existing 'tile' countertop, underlayment and backsplash without damaging cabinets or drywalls, installed quartz countertop and properly installed 18-gage undermount sink with both wire supports and adhesive, cut out holes for faucet & soap dispenser on-site and cleaned up everything including old tiles and sink all within 1.5 hours which was amazingly efficient. I assume they are salaried and not paid hourly. Otherwise it doesn't make sense. And they were so tough they did not even care to wear gloves. I highly recommend AT&G; especially if you are considering one of the big box stores. For comparison, the MSI Sparkling White Q-quartz we got seems to be of similar quality to a Cosentino or Silestone. A comparitive one at Lowe's, Ikea or HD is Stellar Snow or White Diamond quartz which is Group C ($71-74/sq ft). Plus HD charges $18/lin.ft for a demi-bullnose edge profile which we got included in the cost for free. The undermount sink is like $150-200 at least and that was included free of cost as well. HD charges $13/sq.ft just for existing tile countertop removal. That was included in the AT&G quote as well. read more

A week later, they came out for the final measure (after telling us what to think about and decide on), and were exactly on time. I am so pleased with my experience with Atlantic Tile and Granite. I needed granite countertops and tile backsplash for my kitchen. The master bath required Granite counter tops and extensive tiling for the Shower, tub surround and floor. Everyone I came in contact with from AT&G were wonderful. In particular, Nataliya was always available to answer my many questions, help with picking out materials and coordinating the activities. Dimitri did a fantastic tile job. He was very careful in laying out the tile so the different sizes and shapes flowed beautifully. He also was patient with me because I had many questions. The end result is a beautiful kitchen and master bath. My neighbors and friends all said "wow" when they saw the finished project.
