James is the consummate professional!…read more I hired James for a full day to tackle some long overdue work in my home. On our initial walk through so he knew exactly what I required, he obviously listened carefully to the plethora of jobs he was to undertake, that he required no further unnecessary input from me for the full 8 hours he was here. He followed through thoroughly with all I asked of him, much to my delight. James did a range of work from caulking, hanging multiple items such as a huge heavy mirror, added many a handle to my kitchen cupboards, door adjustments, furniture assembly and the list goes on. He stuck to his quote and he also finished everything in the allotted time. Having had a father in the industry, I am more than aware of when a job has been done well or not, this job was not just done well it was done excellently!

He also was able to adapt a piece of plywood to cover the large holes left by our electrician, so we could still mount our tv above the fireplace.

Horrendous service, atrocious attitude. Ilya was a pain in the butt from the start. He was…read moredifficult to talk to on the phone, because he talked over me & didn't seem to comprehend anything I was saying to him without my explaining it several times. After booking my appointment weeks in advance (he couldn't get me in sooner than that?), he was a COMPLETE NO-SHOW. Apparently, even my texting him earlier on the same day of that first missed appointment didn't make him realize that we had an appointment that day. After he didn't show, I called him, & he rescheduled for the very next day (why did it take him weeks to get me in before?). And then he canceled the SECOND appointment an hour or two before the appointment window was ending, so effectively, a no-show 2 days in a row. (I had taken 2 days off work for him.) He told me he "didn't do" the floor repairs I needed an estimate of, though he had scheduled me for exactly that in the first place, & prior to the FIRST missed appointment, he already had photos of my flooring. Then he never texted back after just telling me he wouldn't help me. His communication was consistently slow or absent. One of the worst parts was that when I wrote a complaint about him on Yelp, he had the nerve to reply & say he had never heard of me & that we had never done business together, not realizing I've got ALL the receipts--incoming & outgoing phone calls to his phone number, and texts showing exactly what he said to me & when he said it--he even signed his name to those texts. When I called him out on his outright lies, telling him I could prove it, he literally immediately deleted & rewrote his reply to me to be all sweet and apologetic, which REPLACED the answer where he basically called me a liar & said he had no idea who I was and that we had never been in contact. (He replied that to someone else awhile back, too. Makes me think that was a lie as well.) Ilya is a DOUBLE NO-SHOW, an outright liar, & a real piece of work. SUPER shady. He was very communicative and responsive right from the first contact, promptly providing the three different quotes we requested so we could understand our options. He was able to come out and complete the work relatively soon after we reached out, which we really appreciated. On the day of the job, he was friendly, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. The quality of the work was excellent, and he took the time to explain what he did and why, which gave us a lot of confidence that the repair was done correctly and safely. And the final cost matched the quoted price exactly--no surprises. It's clear Kashi takes pride in his work and in treating customers well. We wouldn't hesitate to hire BFC again for future projects.

Andy did our bathroom first and it exceeded all expectations; it really feels like we're stepping into a luxury hotel bathroom every time we use it. It was a huge project involving knocking a wall down and dealing with very uneven floors, but you'd never know either thing was there previously. Andy is professional, kind, respectful of your space and time, and just all around a really great person to have in your home for stretches of time. We were crazy enough to have this all done with an infant in the home and he (being a family man himself) made it a point to check in to make sure everything would be okay with the baby's schedule. His subcontractors were also great and rarely left a trace that they were there. I highly recommend Wildside Construction!
