E&A goes above and beyond my expectations! I quoted from about 8 flooring companies. They got reasonable price and amazing quality. They helped put back vanity from boards and they replaced the carpet with hardwood. They did a fantastic job staining the wood and wave in the wood floor so I cannot really tell the difference between old and new red oak. They also have great skills in cut and installing the hardwood that fill the small gap between dry wall and the floor and are very experienced to account for wood acclamation. They also gave me a lot of helps to choose color stain to help hide the difference between new and old red oak. The flush mount, baseboard, baseboard and caulking works are also amazing. Had a small project where we needed to remove, repair, and then replace the flooring in our downstairs bathroom after we noticed mold through the old tile, likely indicating an issue in the sub floor. E&A was very responsive to my initial request and offered a competitive estimate. When the workers removed the old flooring they identified an issue with the toilet that was minor but suggested could become an issue and so I might want to speak with a plumber. I agreed and they paused their work and waited until i got the plumbing issue resolved. Then they quickly fit us back into their schedule to complete the work. They also briefly paused their work to allow us to paint behind the removed toilet as we did a repaint of the room at the same time. Very satisfied with the care and the final product. read more

We purchased a 90s home on the east side, filled with the almost stereotypical brown carpet throughout, with some owner-finished wood flooring that quite frankly, looked grimy. I had a few quotes come in, and not only was E&A flooring competitive, the two folks that came had some great suggestions that none of the other three flooring companies had. They pointed out the edges of the flooring had pooled stain, and that the red oak underneath would actually be beautiful when properly finished. Furthermore, and this was the game changer--they also suggested that instead of replacing the mixture of wood and carpet on the ground floor, they could interleave new wood with the old and refinish the whole thing--no wasted wood. This was awesome. They were extremely communicative over the course of the project, and literally the day I signed the paper there was someone ripping out the old carpet. David was the head contractor involved, and he was awesome at helping come up with solutions. For example, I also had them do some minor renovation work, ripping out an old fireplace, but the molding used just isn't made anymore. He managed to work some magic by moving the molding around and adding the closest match in an area that's not as visible--it looks great. They also understood that with a large dog and an infant, the floors were going to see a lot of wear and tear, so they gave some recommendations on improving the durability. We used a double coat of the Bona finish which should help, and unlike our old floors, they actually have showed barely any scratches from the dog--so far! But the floors... they are GORGEOUS. The finishers, Daniel and Ivan, did a great job sanding and preparing the floor. When it came time to pick a stain, they helped out by painting squares with different amounts, and even helped by suggesting how to look at the wood, providing pictures of existing projects with similar stains, and so on. Daniel also gave his own personal advice about which stain he liked, and actually showed pictures of his own house which had the same stain (Bona Natural). And I am SO glad I went with this suggestion--the red oak looks *amazing* with it. When I walked in after they had finished, my wife and I both gasped; it was like a different house! I have nothing but praise for the folks here, including Edwin, who managed a lot of the paperwork and financing (and also took over when David took some vacation). Literally everybody involved was polite and friendly, and definitely knew their stuff; I love the new floors and can't believe this is the same house we bought! read more

I initially found E&A based off of word of mouth and their solid reviews. They also provided the best quote out of multiple ones I received for my project. From quote to fitting me in for a quick install before we moved into our brand new home, I was ecstatic and super pleased. Coordination fell through after the first phase of the small project. It was so hard to contact the project manager assistant and their main form of communication was text messages spaced out for weeks. I would respond directly after and not receive an update unless I texted again asking if they got my first text message or voicemails. We had a few installers arrive one day to check on things without my confirmation or approval since we were busy. I was left without an estimated wait time for materials multiple times. After seeing a few reviews with experiences alike mine, they definitely need to restructure the way they communicate with their clients. Also, a quote should be throughly explained with the customer. They expect you to know the quote exactly without walking you through it throughout the project timeline. The work done was fantastic. Communication and follow up was poor. Small things such as leaving trash/sawdust/drinks on our floor wasn't a nice touch either. I felt low priority towards the wrap up of our flooring project. Wouldn't recommend to my friends or to continue a few other flooring needs we had in mind. read more

Be careful with hiring these guys. They attempted to charge us for sq yards instead of square feet. Square yards leaves A-LOT of unused material, that you the consumer will pay for, but won't need. The installers/contractors they work with are great and do an amazing job. But E&A Pro Flooring LLC coordination is bad. I wouldn't recommend it. Bad communication on payments, I was miss-informed (not on propose) on what i needed to pay through out the project, leaving me with a pending of thousands even when I asked specifically to add the remaining to the consecutive payments so I can look at that only and they didn't. If their system doesn't allow it, I should have been informed (phone/email/text message) I think their expectation is that you are constantly analyzing their pdf and know exactly what is needed for every piece of the project, but I couldn't do that. They could use another system or coordination platform that help their navigate the installations. Even when I'm happy with the result and with the people on-site doing the work, I don't think E&A made my life easier. read more

This is really a review for 4.5 stars. I needed LVP flooring for about 2000 sq ft (all three floors and stairs of a townhome) and estimate to installation took only 2 weeks. The actual work was phenomenally and professionally done even though I was on a really quick timeline. Dinging half a star because there were multiple issues with the estimates: the most egregious was the rep missed estimating about 400 sq ft of flooring so it added additional $$$. However, I was able to negotiate with E&A Pro so that we came to a compromise and the estimate didn't balloon out of control (thank you E&A!). I wish it had been more accurate from the get-go so that I could have weighed my alternatives better - I would have likely still gone with E&A Pro Flooring but would have avoided the anxiety of budgeting last minute. read more

E&A refinished our hard wood flooring, they have Competitive pricing, were flexible to accommodate our tight schedule, we are happy with our end product. Our only suggestion would be to have better communication between their team. The person who did our quote said it would require moving our refrigerator to another space. we spent 1.5 hours taking it apart only to have the guy doing the work saw we didn't need to and spend another 1.5 hours putting it back together. Fantastic work! We took our sweet time deciding, and David waited patiently for about 6 months and gave us options and very personalized quotes so that we would get exactly what we wanted. When we were getting quotes, E&As were a little bit below the average price (so yeah, great value!) and he was super involved, gave us his expert opinion and plenty of suggestions. It is very clear that he knows his stuff and has a good idea of what a modern style floor should look like. In the end we did hardwood for all the house. New where we had carpet and refinishing where we already had hardwood. His team did weaving old with new and we cannot tell. David was very conservative and careful regarding the stain so that it would impossible to tell the difference, but he supported us when we wanted to give it a shot at a lighter stain. He can tell the difference because he is an expert, but we really can't it looks fantastic and it matched our wishes. There were several issues with the foundation of our house (it is a 1978 house where many of the rooms were added after construction by the previous owners). Floor across rooms was uneven, not level, or both. David offered several options to tackle the problems and the change in price to deal with these surprises was modest. After the work was done there were a few follow ups on tiny details here and there. David always accommodated our requests until we were completely happy with the work done. If i were to do a hardwood job again, I wouldn't hesitate to go with E&A Pro Flooring. They did a great job and we are pretty happy with our new floor. read more

After 4 months on the market, as my Broker kept telling me the house was Turn Key, obviously it was not. E&A came highly recommended to me. I set up 3 quotes. Alex, the owner, arrived at my home the next day to give me a quote on new carpet.
