Before I found them, I had used several other local and well known companies, but there was always minor problems down the line with materials or the work not holding up. Not only have I never had a problem with any of Bella's work, but Jeff makes the whole process, super easy to schedule and set up, and their installers are always completely on point. There are a lot of companies that can provide flooring materials and install them for you. The difference Jeff and his team from Bella Flooring brought to the table was the "whatever it takes" attitude and seeing the job to the very end. I've come to understand that most (all?) construction and remodeling jobs involve unknowns, and it's how your contractor deals with those that really makes the difference. Bella's replaced our bamboo floors with LVP in three rooms. The best compliment I can give Bella's quality is what a friend told me: the new floors look like they've always been part of the house, that's how you know they were done well. We put new baseboards on with the floors and it has improved the look of our space so much. Joel was super helpful in explaining our options and was here on the job making sure we understood what was going on. The crew replaced the tiles very quickly. They also replaced our shower head and glass door. At the end, the tiles, shower head and glass door looked terrific! Although I ended up going with a different company, I still had a great experience working with Bella Flooring and would recommend them to others. Ray did my bid, and he was great to work with. Ray and Bo had great design ideas. Betta flooring gave good customer service start to finish. I enjoyed being able to go into their showroom to see the products they carry. Ray even dropped off samples at my house which was an added customer service touch. They weren't the cheapest bid, but I get them impression they do high quality work. Bella's did a great job for us and we'd happily use them again and recommend them for flooring and bathroom projects. Jeff worked with us diligently to dial in our exact project needs. Alex and Anatoli did high-quality work and were easy to coordinate with. Our only issue is we selected a glass tile for our shower and have learned after that tile was installed that glass tile is very difficult to install shower doors on to. That is not Bella's fault at all, but a lesson learned that I hope others are aware of and plan for. I would suggest looking for ceramic or porcelain tile instead of glass if a shower door will be attached to it. read more

We just recently bought a house and wanted to redo our flooring and carpet before we moved in. We worked specifically with Andrey but everybody from the team was super nice. Andrey was very patient with us and explained everything very thoroughly and answered all our questions. We were indecisive and changed our minds on a couple things and he was super accommodating. We had some slight flooring issues after our final walk through and he came right out the next day to take a look. I would highly recommend and do business with them again. Our powder room toilet was leaking, and a call to a plumber revealed that the issue wasn't new. We'd had a slow leak in the outlet, and that had caused some damage and contamination in our hardwood floor. I called Bella's to help us figure out what to do, and Bo drew up two quotes for me: replace half the floor with the same wood or convert the bathroom to tile. Even though we took some time to get back to Bo and David, they were extremely responsive as soon as we had tile picked out. The exact tile we wanted was no longer being produced, and we gave Bella's leeway to find us a similar product, but they were able to find our exact tile on clearance and had it shipped in from out-of-state! As soon as the tile came in, they were able to fit us into their schedule on the next day. The demo and thinset pour took one day. The timing on tile varies with how all the materials cure, so they came back the next day to lay the tile, and the day after that to do final grout. Communication and scheduling was always easy and straightforward. Bo came by every day his team was onsite to make sure things were going well and to check in that I was happy with the progress--this has certainly not been my experience with other home contractors. After the floor demo, I noticed some noise coming from my in-floor radiant heating system. I suspected something had happened, and Bo immediately showed concern and empathy. They tore out the ceiling below their work area, and we found that a nail from the original floor had been embedded in the heat tubing. (The hole was straight through the center of the tube, so I'm sure that this was a pre-existing issue.) Even though Bella's didn't cause the problem, Bo did the tubing repair for me and arranged for his drywall installer to replace the ceiling and paint at-cost. In under a week, Bo and David (and the rest of the Bella's team) took care of my floor install and the ceiling replacement. They exhibited a lot of empathy when issues came up, worked efficiently and professionally, and were surprisingly present for what was/should have been such a small job. It's clear that this team cares about their work and their customers, and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. read more

I wanted to install new hardwood flooring before moving in to my home and I found some wood that I loved at another shop. Unfortunately they said they couldn't get it within the timeframe I needed - their suppliers said "6-8 weeks on select hickory but they said no guarantee," "very tuff to get right now," and "looks like it's going to be the next shortage in the wood industry." Ugh. I met with Bella's Flooring a few days later and David dug deep to find just enough of the wood that I had my heart set on. Andrey also talked with me in the shop and came out to my home to provide an estimate for installing the new floor. I ended up having another company perform the installation, it was a tough decision but Bella's was very understanding and still delivered my hardwood on time at the quoted price. Now that we've lived with our floors for the past couple of months, we've noticed a lot of finishing flaws that we didn't catch immediately after the work was done -- and we're pretty disappointed with the quality. There's a lot of finish smeared on our walls and doors, drips on the floor, and brush strokes and pooled varnish in several places. We're actually planning to refinish the floors again ourselves in a couple of years and wish we'd gone that route in the first place. read more

Our basement floor was very uneven with very noticeable slopes, dips and bumps throughout. I always thought it would be nice to have the floor leveled, but it didn't seem like it would be worth the cost and hassle of having to move everything out. Unfortunately, this past winter, we had some pretty serious water ingress, so we ended up needing to remove all the carpet to have some intensive waterproofing work done. Since we had to move everything out and have the carpets pulled back anyway, we decided it was finally time to get the floors leveled. Andrey from Bella's came out and did a very thorough estimate, he told us what the process would involve, what our choices were (new carpet with or without leveling, LVP with leveling, etc). He was very thorough in telling us what complications we might run into (the laundry room had tiles, which could potentially contain asbestos - fortunately we knew they were new enough that was not the case), that the floor would be flat, but not perfectly level, etc. His communication throughout the whole process was awesome, we had him redo the estimates a few times to see if we wanted to put tile back in the laundry room or just do LVP throughout, and to add on the cost of rebuilding our staircase which was partially destroyed during the trench-digging phase of waterproofing. Through the whole process, Andrey's communication was awesome, we always knew exactly what to expect and when to expect it. When the time came to start the work, I was blown away by how fast the leveling process was - their crew was only at our house for three hours, start to finish for the leveling. They did come back the next day to put some finishing touches on a few areas, but they worked super fast and did great quality work. Once the leveler was dry, Oleksii came back out to do everything else (I'm not sure if anyone else was helping him, but he's the only one I saw) and did amazing work. I think it took him two (very long) days to completely lay all the LVP, install/prime baseboard and rebuild the stairs. Everything looked fantastic! After they finished up, we noticed that the stairs that had been rebuilt felt a little crooked/uneven. We reached out to Andrey and he sent Oleksii back out to take a look. Only the bottom half of the staircase had been rebuild and Oleksii showed me that the bottom half was perfectly straight with the top half, but it felt off because the floor next to the stairs was actually level now. What he did to solve the problem was pretty incredible - he made the landing level with the floor, and then each step that he rebuilt, he sloped about a quarter inch close to what the existing stairs were. After he did this, the stairs feel perfect. I'm so grateful that Andrey and Oleksii were willing to work with us until we were perfectly happy. The difference between our previous, uneven carpet and the new, flat LVP is night and day. Previously there were some walls that we didn't feel that we could safely put furniture next to because it sloped so much, now everything looks and feels great. read more

For everything we wanted, no matter how obscure he said "we can make that happen" and they really did! The quotes were fair, the timeline was prompt and they completed each job right on schedule!! Bo, Alex and their team deserve a 5-star review. I shopped around to other contractors, and decided to go with them because they charged a fair quote, seemed organized, efficient and had a reasonable schedule planned out. I know it's weird to say, but as we went through the project, I kinda felt like I won the contractor lottery. Bo was super responsive to my questions and helping to guide me through some of the things I would need to think about for my bathroom remodel. There were so many moving pieces with the tub, tiles, fixtures, plumbing, but I have to say I didn't run into many hiccups. And the issues we did run into (like replacing a rusted light housing or discovering that my 20 yr old bathroom fan was literally homemade and needed a redo), we problem solved it together efficiently. Like I would run to homedepot to buy the part that morning, and without saying a word, they would have it installed by the end of the day. Throughout the project, they were very professional, focused and empathetic about what I was trying to accomplish. This was a 2 week project (that is FAST for all the work to be done) and my big family was showing up on the day they were scheduled to be done. It was like one of those home remodel shows - my mom came from the airport as they were rushing to clean the work area and all the cardboard out. The end result was perfection and I would not hesitate to recommend Bella's to anyone. Absolutely exceptional company. We had a fantastic experience with everyone from Bella's Flooring. It took us more than a year from getting our first quote to actually get the work done, and Bo was in contact with us the whole time. Everyone on the time had a really positive attitude - there was no problem that couldn't be solved. Alex and Anatoly were extremely skilled in their work and were very respectful and kind. We had the floors throughout our house redone with engineered maple, carpet, and luxury vinyl. The bathrooms were completely remodeled with tile floors and beautiful tub surrounds. They did some beautiful shiplap accent walls, custom shelving, a custom entryway bench and kitchen remodeling. I don't think there's anything that Bella's can't do. We hired a prior tile person to do some work in our bathroom to prepare for the installation of in-wall toilets. They screwed it up royally and actually tiled over the pipes needed for the toilet installation. We called Bella's Plumbing and luckily they had a cancellation. They showed up on time, their work was fast, their workers were polite and clean and they did a great job. Their final bill was exactly what their estimate was. The nice part was that they cared. Skilled laborers are in high demand now and most of them know it. But Jeff not only stayed in constant communication (he even contacted us to make sure his crew arrived timely) but then followed up to make sure we were satisfied with the work. My project was changing the flooring in our small laundry room from vinyl to white ceramic tile. The installers were very knowledgeable and nothing seemed to phase them. For instance, when moving our washer from the laundry room, the washing machine hot water valve could not be turned off. When I purchased new valves from a nearby Ace Hardware, they installed them for me for free. They handled every aspect of changing the floor from vinyl to tile, and it looks fabulous. I got several estimates for tiling a 14x14 bedroom. The job involved removing the existing rug and down to the subfloor, installing the backer board and tile, and restoring the trim. I was concerned because this is an old house and the floor was far from level. Bella Flooring was not the cheapest, but they seemed the most professional, so I went with them. They did a great job! They had estimated 3-4 days and were done except for touch-ups in 2. Jeff handled all the details well, and Anatoly did an amazing job with the tile.
