Need new floors? Long's is defintely the place to go. I recently purchased a townhouse on Redmond Ridge and needed new carpets in two bedrooms. Since I'm only living in my new homes two weeks per month, It has been tough to schedule repairs and the such. Within five minutes of entering the store, I knew that Long's was the place for me. Taryn, our sales person, was beyond helpful and I took three samples home with me. Two days later a gentleman came and measured my rooms. Since the carpet I chose was already in house, I didn't need wait several weeks before it could be shipped from the factory. This is an EDIT This will be the third or fourth time that we have called on LONGS FLOORS to do a job for us and once again our expectations were exceeded. It's nice to work with professionals and that is what they provide from start to finish! First we dealt with Nic at Longs. We wanted our kitchen and powder room floors replaced. Nic arrived right on time with a bunch of samples. He carefully measured everything and gave us our options. We had a lot going k so we didn't call him for two months to book the job. On installation day, Armando showed up with his helped who turned out to be his son! They were on time, friendly and very efficient! They knew exactly what to and out right to work. We provided lunch and it was much appreciated. They took fifteen minutes for lunch and got right back to work. The job was done to perfection! This review is long overdue. First property I purchased was in 2020 and had Long floors come out to install both carpet and LVP never had a problem. On my second property (bigger and currently living in it) I wanted to change out all my carpets and old hardwood to LVP. Christine was my representative who helped me choose the product. She was helpful and fast with her quote which I appreciated since I asked four different companies for quotes and they all took a week to respond while one company never responded back. In comparing the different quotes Long flooring was reasonable priced! I also had a great experience with my floor installers and his team. I would recommend Longs Flooring in Issaquah. We just had them install Vinyl plank flooring in our downstairs and new carpet in our stairs and upstairs. We had a different carpet put in a spare bedroom downstairs. Jason was very helpful answering all our questions and patient as it took me time to pick the vinyl plank first and then the carpet. He was able to offer recommendations and knowledgeable about the process. When they came, there were 3 young men, I believe Russel, Michael and Mark who did the vinyl plank installation. They had it completed in 2 days. Then Jose and David did the carpet. We had things boxed up prior as best we could but they helped move everything around for us and we're very patient and helpful. We ended up keeping the tile we already had at the entryway and I like how that turned out. Thanks Longs for doing a great job! We picked Homewood waltz Lions door and mountain ledge for the upstairs carpet. It's very plush and soft. The back bedroom carpet is called Renoir bisque (not pictured). read more

These guys saved us from a big disaster caused by Home Depot. After Home Depot's subcontractor dropped us in the last minute for carpet installation after we spent six weeks patiently waiting in line, I contacted Long's upon seeing their great reviews. They did not disappoint! Not only were they able to schedule an appointment for us within three days, but they did a top-notch job replacing our old carpet and hauling them away. They showed up on time and finished the job in three hours. They also gave us 3 additional yards of carpet for free because the measurement I provided from Home Depot was under measured. I was terribly disappointed in my experience with longs. We hired them to remove tile flooring and carpet from a room and install EVP. We chose Longs because they said it would be no problem to remove the tile. While waiting for our installation day, my husband and I ended up removing the carpet ourselves because our puppy had torn up a portion of it and we were worried about someone cutting themselves on the exposed carpet tacks. I pried up a few pieces of tile myself, but didn't have the time to do any more than that. The installers showed up, got to work removing tile and left a very short while later, saying they needed something from Home Depot. I peeked in and only a tiny amount of the tile had been removed. They came back later, and resumed working. I poked my head downstairs one more time and saw them pouring floor leveling- very shortly after they had returned. They then left. I went down to check on the floor and realized they had poured the leveling over the tile rather than ripping it out. The next day they returned and installed the flooring. They did not haul away the carpet or tacking debris we had moved to the garage. The floor looks great. It's beautiful and exactly what I wanted. But the floor is now a good inch or two higher than it was previously. They didn't compensate for this on either door exiting the room- there was just a sudden jump from carpet up and inch to the new LVP. There was no call from Longs asking if we were satisfied with the new floor- 3 days later I received a receipt for the job. They had gone ahead and charged my credit card I had used for the down payment without my permission for the remainder, and the receipt showed we were charged for tile and carpet removal (which you may recall we had removed ourselves). So I called to complain, and only after I sent numerous pictures of the terrible gap between the carpet and the LVP (and the baseboards at the door transition, which they had moved an inch higher) did they agree to send someone out. I was not able to be there when the owner came out to look, my husband handled that conversation. In short, the owner agreed to "fix" the transitions from carpet to LVP with carpet wedges, and refund our money for the carpet removal, but claimed the cost of pouring the leveler was the the same as tile removal so refused to refund that cost. This has left me with an extremely bad taste in my mouth when I think about Longs. Not only did they do something basically unchangeable to my house without asking me, they refuse to own up to the mistake and make it right. So now I'm left paying for something I didn't want, that can't be removed, and a floor that is at least 1" higher than the rest in my basement, which has short ceilings already. I was planning to do the rest of the basement eventually in LVP (the hallways on either side of this room) but now I'd have to raise the height of those floors to have them be the same height as this room. I certainly won't be using Longs for those rooms. read more

I was in the midst of moving from my condo when a mover, carrying an end table, fell in my kitchen and the corner of the night stand put a big dent and whole in my flooring that Longs Floors had put in over 5 years ago. Not a good experience at all, very unprofessional with weird texts and incorrect information on file ie: we had hardwoods installed and got odd texts about carpet then when there was a confusion on the bill received incredibly unprofessional condescending texts from whom we don't even know was sending almost threatening in a way naming off neighbors names they know whom we dont know which we felt was super odd.. Never received any sort of invoice via mail or email until a month after work was done after requesting it via text that day. We paid promptly after receiving within minutes. Overall disorganized, rude and unprofessional. We have had alot of work done on our house and never experienced anything like this. We should have used touchdown flooring as we heard things like this about Longs. read more

When we first bought our house in Duvall we were in real need of a flooring store to replace flooring before our furniture was moved in. We decided to put a beautiful laminate upstairs to replace the old carpet, and put tile in the dining room. We worked with Christine who was excellent. She came out to the house and measured everything, and also let us know that if we wanted to replace the vents with wood ones that would match our flooring we could do so. We did and we are so happy we did, it looks really nice. Everything was scheduled in plenty of time, and all of the materials arrived on time. The tile guys were really excellent. I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. They had to get creative on the step down from the dining room, and it looks fantastic. Christine did mention that when the base board gets removed and then reinstalled it may require some touch up painting, and that would be up to us. It was nice to know this up front, but in reality they did a nice job and no touch up was needed. About two months later we realized we needed a small rooms carpet replaced. We went back to Longs and it was great. Christine gave us some carpet samples to take home. We chose one and let her know, and she came out the next day to measure, and 4 days later the carpet was installed. We have been really happy with our experience and will look to use Long's in the future. read more

Lots of nicks and dents in newly painted walls and doors. Owner is very intimidating and mean when he came to see damages. I was afraid of him in my own home and he refused to leave when asked - even chose to block my exit and say he did not need permission to be in my home because his crew was there and if he did leave he was ripping the carpet out and taking it with him - 50% deposit was already paid and there was never a time where I said or implied I would not pay. We like the carpet but are upset about all the damages to trim and walls after being told (by Long's) that we should absolutely install carpet AFTER paint. And I'm especially upset about how he chose to use his body to intimidate me in my home and refused to leave when asked multiple times. read more

So far, we have been thrilled with her experience with long floors. Our sales person Ted was very knowledgeable and made very good suggestions as we were picking out both carpeting and hardwood. The installers, Pedro and his crew, were on time, amazingly polite, very good at laying carpet and kept my stress level down below 80%. They promised that they could do all of the carpeting (about 2000 ft.²) in two days and they pulled it off. They graciously moved furniture and boxes and made sure to take pictures so that the furniture was put back in the right place. I just had new LVT "wood" flooring installed on my whole first floor. The final results are just what we wanted and the installers did a fantastic job. That said, the experience was somewhat soured by two mistakes on the admin side. One: they want to deliver material a day prior to the job. Okay, I have to be home an extra day, but I understand. But we were given a delivery window of 9-11am and they showed up shortly before 4pm, so 5 hours late. Two: They estimated 904 square feet for the job. Anyone with the most basic knowledge of this stuff knows you need to order 5-10% extra to account for cuts. They showed up with 880 square feet. And no surprise, on the last day of the job, they ran out of material and had to order more from the east coast, and came back to install it a week later. Another week of living with all of our pantry and laundry room items in the garage, and another day of having to be home for the installers. Meh. read more

I'm writing this review because the people at Longs Floors in Issaquah are just great! I had them install about 1000 sq. ft. of carpet in my condo, in Kirkland, WA. Jason was the sale person who worked with me and helped me find the perfect carpet and wood floor combo for my home. Instead of trying to resell an install service for the wood floors that I purchased from him he gave me a name and phone number for a contractor Long's uses for installing the floors and that ended up working out wonderfully. In addition to the great job and fair pricing, Long's flooring was LESS expensive than the carpet warehouses in the area that I checked out (the same carpet warehouses that guarantee to be 40 or 50% less than a retail flooring store - I guess that didn't know about Long's). I'm going to continue to recommend and use Long's Floors in the future for any floor needs I have. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Long's. About a year ago we decided to replace our carpet and tile on the first and second floor of our home. We started the process by reaching out to several local flooring places. Jayson at Long's immediately replied and set up a time at my convenience to meet, he showed up, gathered the information needed and then quickly replied with a quote. This seemingly simple process never worked out at the other places... sudden reschedules, no-shows, no call backs, they lost my information...on and on. Anyway, while we were doing compares a lot of time passed before we decided on Long's. So, one day I dropped by the store, Jayson remembered me, pulled out my file, worked with me on adjustments and immediately we're ready to go again. The installation process went just as well. We were a bit worried at first because the tear out wasn't finished on the first day (the tile was tough) and then after the second day it seemed like it was going to take longer than expected. Then we arrived at home on the last day and lo and behold, the flooring was complete and picture perfect. Jayson followed up soon after to make sure everything was as expected. About a year after the installation, we noticed some gapping in one small area so I sent an e-mail to see what could be done. The next day I received a call from a crew member to see if someone could drop by and take a look. Great experience. We had Long's quote us On bamboo and vinyl for our house. We had four companies bid after a terrible experience with our crawl space contractor (clean crawls) so were a bit gun shy. Longs was a breath of fresh air. The quotation process was extremely detailed and complete. They checked the house out fully and were very detail oriented. When we went down to the showroom in Issiquah they were very helpful and had great selection. At each stage there was great communication and we knew exactly what was going to happen and when. We decided to go ahead and use another company for the bamboo installation and Longs for the vinyl in our kitchen and bathroom. This was no problem for them and they were completely professional. A very helpful feature with Longs is they were fine with us doing some of the demolition and prep work to save some money. What was incredible is they had the installer come do the work on a Sunday so that we could still make the date with the other installer. Seriously these guys are incredible. I can not day enough good things about the installer. We have an old house and it had some issues. He did all the necessary repairs and perpetuation and the vinyl looks amazing. He exceed out expectations at each point and is a super nice guy as well. In closing Longs is expensive when you look at them initially however when you look at the service they offer the price is actually pretty good. The quality also looks amazing. read more

We had a few hiccups with scheduling but that was due to our product being held at customs. Our sales rep was very helpful and assisted us in picking out a product that would work for our space. She was very punctual and communicative. The installers were also very efficient and our whole house was completed in half the time I had expected. Initially we had purchased install of new baseboard as well but when it turned out that we didn't need it the company removed the fee from our bill.
