I'm really pleased with how a major remodel turned out after ~8 months of design, demo works and construction. In particular, the hardwood floors are exceptional, with expert installation. There wasn't a square inch untouched that included Electrical, Drywall, Tile, Cabinetry, and Paint, assisted by subcontractors unaffiliated with CTI. I worked with a designer from a different company and was rushed to pick everything within just a few weeks. As we sat down and got the bid.....it was crazy high. So I was referred to Jill and Patrick at Custom Touch Interiors. They went through all of my initial selections and was able to give me alternative for a better price. I met with Rren, nice enough, a bit put offish, but since she cam highly recommended, I stuck with it, picked out my materials, she came to the house with the contractor, measured and said she would get a bid out to us in a few weeks. I called her 2 months later after trying to reach her by email and she abruptly got off the phone as she was busy rearranging her desk. Never heard from her again and also bailed on my referral person too. Custom touch did reach out to me weeks later and stated that Rren is no longer working there and only knew a little about what I was there for. Terrible experience and put us back months. Now contractors are very hard to find this time of year. This easily cost me a year. read more

We went to Custom Touch Interiors when we were doing a bathroom remodel on our rental property and installing new carpet. The process of choosing carpet and tile was great. We had gone to a big box store first and were overwhelmed by the choices. The designer at Custom Touch Interiors was extremely helpful with choosing colors, materials and determining how much we needed to buy. On the day we made our choices, we gave them a credit card to pay in full along with the name of our general contractor and they agreed to coordinate the rest with him. That's when the problems started. First, they lost the carpet color we had chosen. Our timeline was delayed because I had to find time away from my full time job to go to their store and pick the color all over again. Because they are only open during regular office hours, I had to get the color swatches by having them leave them by the front door to take home and then figure out my choice all over again from home and then bring the color swatches back. Next, they set a time to meet the contractor to measure for the carpet install. My contractor waited and waited and they didn't show up. They weren't even apologetic about it. When he picked up the tile, the contractor brought everything home and realized the grout was missing. When he called to ask about it, they said he'd need to pick it up from their warehouse. Once again, they didn't care about his time or the inconvenience at all. Finally, there was not enough tile ordered. We were counting on their expertise to help us buy enough. Our dimensions hadn't changed. One more transaction. Speaking of transactions, despite the fact that we THOUGHT we had paid in full the day we were in the store, they had never actually completed the transaction. We had to go back AGAIN to give them our credit card in order to pay for what we had purchased. And they didn't figure this out until after we'd already made the multiple trips for the carpet swatches. So, the design expertise was super valuable. But the execution of our order was just terrible. If you value your time, go somewhere else. We won't use them again. read more

I had a great experience with Custom Touch Interiors. From picking out to the installation of my carpet. Loran Davis was great with helping me pick our the right color and type of carpet I needed. I remodeled 2 bathrooms and painted my entire upstairs. Loran was great with coordinating Juan to come and measure for the carpet and worked well with me to get a good date for installation. Wanted all the painting done and bathrooms finished before carpet would go it. But the best part was today, the day of removal and installation. Juan was here right on time, 8:00am along with 3 other men. They moved my furniture, removed carpet and pad, installed the new carpet and placed all the furniture back where it belonged. All without scratching any of my new paint, and in 6.5 hours. They did a beautiful job.... Thank you. (job size 3 bedrooms, 2 halls and 3 - 8 step sets of stairs) read more

Unbelievable....went in on a referral for custom carpet. Immediately launched a 2 bathroom remodel. We worked through plans and at point of committing and never heard from the Custom Touch Interiors Sales person again. Left multiple voicemails and way too many emails with no response. Called to validate Rren still worked there. Yup! Not sure what happened but a follow up response would have been courteous. The last correspondence from Rren was she would have final pricing the following day. A bit shocking in the least, but more importantly incredible waste of time. I still have all of the samples at our house. Find another interior design place with professional and responsive sales people. read more

She was very detail oriented, had great ideas and delivered on the agreed upon timeline. We appreciated the level of detail and quality craftsmanship of the contractors who completed the work. I really wanted to like this place. I really did. Their website is very nice and makes their operation sound so inclusive and helpful: "No project is too small" they claim, as well as that they offer "full service from design to installation, or materials only if that's all you need." There's no question they have a great selection of tile and flooring, but unfortunately the terrible customer service we received made the whole transaction distasteful, and I will never return. My husband and I needed only materials, as we are experienced DIYers, and didn't need a lot at that - enough for a fireplace surround and hearth area. But we wanted a good selection of unique options, and hopefully some expert advice in making choices, so we went to Custom Touch in lieu of a big box store. Turns out their "custom touch" is that of unprofessionalism. The sales person was condescending and downright rude at times. We had to ask if it was possible to be helped, as an offer to help was never given (and we were the only customers in the store). The salesperson's version of "helping" included audibly sighing in annoyance at our requests and questions, particularly when she had to call to check stock on our choices. Our impression was that we were putting her out by asking for assistance. Silly us, we thought that was part of her job. When, towards the end, my husband remembered that he also needed to order some Schluter strip for the project, she looked at us with disdain and commented, "You guys are killing me." Perhaps she thought she was being humorous, I don't know, but her demeanor and behavior thus far did not indicate to us she was joking, nor did she know us to joke in that manner. Yes, dealing with choosing Schluter strip can be rather a pain, but as the customer we should never see that. Such unprofessionalism was appalling. We could not wait to get out of the store. Doesn't seem like the impression a retail store, open to the public, would want to make. While we are happy with the actual product we purchased from Custom Touch Interiors, I have nothing positive to say about working with them, and if asked will absolutely recommend that people avoid them. It's very unfortunate, really, as it's a lovely store front with a myriad of choices. Too bad they don't know how to treat customers. read more

Was referred here by our builder. My husband made an apt directly with Jill over email , about 5 days in advance. We called the morning of to confirm. We got a babysitter, everything was good to go. We walked at exactly noon for our noon apt, right behind another woman. We stopped at the first desk and asked the woman there to point us to Jill. Jill was with the woman who had walked in ahead of us. We approached Jill and said hi, we re here for our noon apt. Jill said that somehow she had gotten double booked. My husband reminded her that he had made the apt directly with her, in advance. Then she said, well it will just be 5 minutes, just let me do this. She never checked on us again. We waited exactly30 minutes and then figured we would just call to reschedule. As my husband was opening the car door for me Jill came out and said, " are you ACTUALLY leaving?!" We said yes, it's been half an hour. She then scoffed loudly and rolled her eyes at us before walking back in. read more

Very Dissapointing Customer Service. My husband and I are building a home. I own a business and have never written a bad review because I know how hard it can be. I came in to the shop just looking for a specific tile and color. It took a while to be greeted and when I was it was very rushed. When I asked the representative for help she condescendingly told me I was asking for something she didn't think existed. She showed me the section so that I could look through it on my own and said she had other things to get to, leaving me to hunt through on my own. She did offer to look up online and order samples if I couldn't find what they had in stock. So when I asked her to check online and gave her the tile name and color she again was very condescending and said "that's a color not the name of the tile" so I pulled out my own phone, went to the website, searched the brand and color I was looking for and what do you know? There it is! I told her I found it on the website and that those were in fact the names of the tile I was requesting. Needless to say at this point I was so turned off by her that we will be taking our business elsewhere. Bummer :/ read more

We recently completed our custom built home and ordered quite a bit from custom touch. This is a great show room with higher end tile and flooring. However we ran into snags with all of our orders here and the customer service was horrible. Misquotes and ordering mistakes ended up costing us thousands more. No apologies and they never took responsibility for their mistakes. It was incredibly frustrating and we would never use them again. read more

Custom Touch Interiors charged me to have someone come measure for flooring and then told me that amount would be taken off the project. Had to call to remind them to send me the proposal. Wrote multiple times for follow through after receiving proposal on next steps and still haven't heard back. Money for measuring should be refunded since customer service/follow through is horrible. The showroom in this place is amazing, and as stated in previous comment, huge selections. I recently ordered some beautiful tile from this business to place in my kitchen and unfortunately it was backdated by the manufacturer. At first, I was a bit disappointed for the wait but believe me, I was well cared for. Custom touch was amazing at keeping me informed on my order and the status of the situation. Im convinced someone was assigned to this specifically and was checking on the status daily. I received numerous phone calls assuring me of the status of the order, as well as to just check in with me and see how things were on my end. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The showroom was incredible. The products are top quality. To top it off, I received my order much quicker than was expected and it was exactly what I wanted. In fact, it was more than what I had imagined. The tile is gorgeous and so is my kitchen! Thank you so much to all the staff for their help and incredible customer service. I am just beginning a full master bathroom remodel. I've never done anything of this scope before and was very hesitant to get started. I met a friend with more experience at the Custom Touch Interiors showroom. This showroom is incredible. They have such an amazing variety of products, all of it beautiful. At first they could see we were talking between ourselves so simply offered assistance. My friend had to leave, but I wanted to keep looking. The customer service person saw that I was now alone and offered to help me continue. We had a blast. She was great at listening to what I liked and didn't like, and would go find more options for me to look at. She also had a great eye for color. By the end I had selected bathroom flooring (called WOW, check it out) all the tile I'd need for my shower, cabinets, countertops and even the carpeting to go in the master bedroom.
