We were immediately and thoroughly helped by the owner, who was not only knowledgeable but incredibly validating. She confirmed my instincts about the white-white trim looking cheap against our tile, even mentioning she doesn't stock it for that exact reason! I had started to feel like I was being too picky or difficult, but she reassured me I wasn't--and that meant a lot. We selected our elements and purchased them and were told it would be 3 to 5 weeks for some pieces to arrive which aligned with our renovation timeline. Now we are already past that time and we are told it will still be another three weeks for the final elements to arrive in their warehouse, let alone get to our home. I was forced to purchase some pieces elsewhere (which will be at my home less than 8 business days after ordering and now that I did so the delayed pieces havw mysteriously shipped incurring a 25 percent restocking fee. Bear in mind they will wont even arrive at their warehouse for two more weeks and I am expected to pay an additional delivery fee they never disclosed. If you are absolutely desperate to see an honestly small and unimpressive display of a few Kohler pieces by all means feel free to visit this shop but if you are interested in actually having the pieces arrive without a headache or delay, buy them somewhere else. If you have absolutely no other option then definitely work with anyone there except Kim Stranger and certainly take nothing she says as the truth. Look through the rest of the reviews here and other places, it's obvious that this is their default modus operandi and choose somewhere else.

We chose ABS primarily because of two key solutions Vinson proposed: one was to reuse two hardwood pantry pullouts from our original cabinets, and the other was to remove the soffit above the existing cabinets, extend the new cabinets all the way to the ceiling, and hide the exhaust duct inside the cabinetry, which resulted in a very clean and attractive look. Construction started after Thanksgiving. Despite the cold, windy, and rainy weather, Vinson's team was always punctual and highly professional. They paid great attention to detail, including excellent dust control during the demolition of the old cabinets. Our house is relatively old and was renovated in the 1970s, so the floors and walls are not very level. The team handled these challenges very well. Vinson also provided helpful and professional advice regarding replacing the aluminum wiring connected to the electric oven with copper wiring, which gave us greater peace of mind regarding safety.

Unfortunately, I was already signed up with a different contractor to install the cabinets as part of a larger project so, I was not able to have ABS install the cabinets. I regret this. My contractors were not as skilled as Vinson. Thankfully, he was kind enough to make himself available, on a number of occasions, to give input to ensure that the cabinets could be installed correctly and look their best. I really appreciate his professional attitude. The cabinets are well made and beautiful. ABS's quartz fabricator, Kenny, was very skilled. I was concerned about the placement of the faucet centering on my kitchen window and he was able to give me exactly what I was looking for. Also, the countertops were installed so well you can barely see the seam in the quartz. It would have to be pointed out to you. I can't say enough good things about this place. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

There were also random carts full of stuff from workers that were left abandoned and took SO much space. Home goods is already small and squished, no need for random carts to be in the middle of things. From the first interaction, it was clear he has high integrity. - Vitaliy noticed critical details (such as the fact that none of my windows had flashing!) that nobody else documented in quotes or discussed with me. - And, his responses to my questions were patient and thorough. Vitaliy helped me understand all the aspects of the project and design choices, which helped me feel confident and supported. And then the work began! - Slavic and Alex were assigned to my project and wow - they are exceptionally skilled and hard working! - Slavic and Alex have great attention to detail. The siding work is very precise and they made simple and beautiful enhancements along the way (like swapping out old and poorly installed vents). - Rot was discovered under a stairway off my kitchen, and I decided to have the staircase rebuilt. It is beautiful. They even noticed that the original staircase had a weird drop off from the interior floor and corrected that so there's now a seamless landing that is much safer and easier to use. The work Slavic and Alex did on this part of the build is as high quality as their siding work. - The work site was always SUPER tidy. Slavic and Alex took great care to clean up as they worked, paid attention to simple details like ensuring nails were picked up and that hose covers were back on (winter months), and they were very respectful of the driveway which I share with my neighbors. - Throughout the installation, Vitaliy kept me updated via text, phone calls, and site visits. I always knew where things stood and what degree of rot was uncovered (or not) at the end of a demolition day. The level and consistency of communication was outstanding. This is the biggest home project I have ever tackled, and it was by far the easiest. And that is because of Vitaliy, Slavic, and Alex. We've had many home improvement projects with various companies over the past few years, with some quite negative experiences and others that were just okay. With Kitchen & More, this was the first time that my wife and I felt compelled to leave a positive review, to let others know that this was an upstanding and trustworthy business they should strongly consider. We had a whole kitchen remodel with them, with a peninsula taken down to combine the adjacent breakfast room into one larger space. The big difference we saw compared to other companies was that we met with the designers up front, before any contractors were brought into the fold. Two designers Skye and Millie came to our home and listened to our ideas while adding their own touches and keeping things manageably within the scope of our stated budget. Once we all agreed upon a specific design and went to their main office in Kent to choose all of our materials, we met with our project manager Vera, their team of contractors including Troy, Justin, and Owen, and different companies who worked with them. Our project required input from various teams including electrical, plumbing, HVAC/duct work, and insulation/drywall. Unexpected work that required add-on contracts were handled reasonably. The entire project was performed on time and completed in reasonable fashion. And at the very end, we had a meticulous line item inspection process with them to make sure the work was completed to a high standard. We have an adjoining laundry room project that will be next on our itinerary, and we will plan to reach out to them for this work as well. read more

My wife and I recently kicked off a remodel with Kitchens and More. We were introduced to Millie (our Designer) and Vera (our Project Manager), and I wish we would have found these two years ago. We have completed 6 different remodels in our home, this is by far the best experience we have ever had. Millie asked probing questions to understand our sense of style, preferred color schemes, and material preferences (she was a true joy to work with). Vera coordinated our kick-off meeting and has been highly communicative at every step of the project. We have run into a few minor hiccups, but Vera has been engaged and partnered with us to continue moving the project forward with minimal cost impacts. Kitchen and more finished our kitchen/master bathroom remodel almost 3 years ago- well beyond the stated warrantee time frame. We were very happy with the job that was done. But- a few weeks ago- I noticed that the support feet of the metal gliders in our cabinets where coming loose- and one was missing. I emailed Vera-explained what was going on. No questions asked- Vera scheduled some repairmen to come out and fix the issue. Now THAT'S what I call after installation service and standing behind your work- even if its beyond the 'official' warrantee' Can't say enough good about Kitchen & More- will use them again for any future house remodel projects read more

Vera was able to provide a quote that fit our budget and was very knowledgeable about the different types of countertops. The installers were very nice and the job they did was spectacular. Disappointing experience with their scheduling process…read more I had been seeing their ads on Facebook and reached out for an estimate to build a deck. During the initial call, I explained that we were ready to move forward soon, assuming we could agree on pricing. I also casually mentioned that my husband was currently on a work trip and that we would make a final decision within about a week. The scheduler responded by asking if we could postpone the estimate until all "homeowners" were available at home because there would otherwise be too much back-and-forth. I found this to be an odd requirement for a simple estimate appointment and said so. The response was that there would be "a lot of back and forth." That explanation didn't sit well with me. For a project worth tens of thousands of dollars, it felt unreasonable to suggest that an initial estimate couldn't proceed because one spouse was away. Whether intentional or not, the interaction came across as dismissive and left me feeling like they were unwilling to work with me directly during the early stages of the process. At that point, I asked them to end the call and not contact me again.
