UPDATE 12/16/2024: This is an update partly to say that Paula's Hallmark Shop at Crossroads Shopping Center, is now Trudy's Hallmark Shop, since my original review in 2019. And also to say that they now accept MobilePay (ApplePay, and GooglePay). Today a friend of mine and I stopped into the store to get some funny Christmas cards. He complained about the high prices of their Hallmark cards. Me, I bought a 5 x 7 comical Christmas card today (see pic) which was $3.85 after tax. This is a little pricey, but their selection is supposed to be much better than at most stores. Though today, I did not notice their selection being as good as I would hope. Perhaps a lot of people have already bought Christmas cards here this year. Nevertheless, my friend and I have found suitable cards today, Merry Christmas, and a happy new year! read more

I haven't been to a Hallmark store in forever until recently when I was like, "Oh yeah, there's a Hallmark here. I should go check it out for my friend who is obsessed with Hallmark movies!" And there I was off to, at a Hallmark store after many years at Crossroads Mall. Trudy's Hallmark Shop is a typical Hallmark store. It has all the knickknacks that you'd expect at a Hallmark, with many themed gift items, Hallmark greeting cards, house accessories, frames, baby's first album, you name it. I visited this store when I was out Christmas shopping and immediately thought to come here when I wanted to get a gift for my friend who loves Hallmark movies. It was perfect because at Trudy's Hallmark Shop, they had an entire section of Hallmark-themed gifts! Now that I think of it, I am not sure where else Hallmark is in Bellevue, but am glad to know that there's one here at Crossroads. Staff was friendly and helped me find a gift for my friend, and dogs are welcomed! Now that I've been reacquainted with Hallmark, I'll be sure to come here for my Hallmark-loving friend's birthday and for other gift items. read more

The staff at Trudy's in Crossroads Mall is very helpful and friendly! They have a nice selection of the cards, wrapping paper, and ribbon you have come to expect from Hallmark as well as unique gift items and sweet snacks. read more

This is my neighborhood Hallmark, and I like having this store nearby. The staffs are always pretty nice, and they have the nicest Christmas ornaments, although they can be pretty pricey. I would recommend signing up for their reward programs, they will give you one free card a month, and coupons periodically. If you are into seasonal decorations, and collectables, this is the place for you! read more

Tried to place an online order, had to cancel the order. Called the store and spoke with Stephanie and later the store manager Terry. Both women were extremely short with me and their reason for this was they were busy. Definitely not going to shop there. read more

The staff here in this store is friendly but they are very negative about children. Given how much of their business is in Webkinz, Ty Beanie Babies 2.0 and so forth, they need to relax a little. Hallmark carries gay wedding cards now but not this store. Very traditional; staid even. Boring. But if you want engraved anything (stationery) maybe this is the place for you to find it. read more

If you do an online order for store pick up, make sure you call to confirm. They didn't even bother contacting me to confirm that my items were ready. I have been here several times over the past year. Each time the employees are nice and help with anything I need. The store has a lot of inventory yet it is clean and orderly. I generally shop for ornaments but their card selection is very good and I have no trouble finding a few for upcoming occasions. read more

Employee(s) now come with attitudes and return policy isn't accurate to the receipt... Went in for a return after Christmas due to a duplicate gift situation, had a receipt, original everything and was met with a snarky employee who was far from helpful. Like most customers I rely on shops to inform me of return policies (especially now when policies vary greatly across the board). At time of purchase there was no signage I recall seeing to inform of exceptions and my receipt did not list any exceptions either. To add to my frustration the employee I got decided she needed to go above and beyond to belittle my knowledge of retail world policies and try to guilt trip me when I asked for a manager saying they were on vacation and I should feel ashamed for even asking to talk with them since they worked so hard. (It has been over a week now and no manager (I guess they don't have assistants capable of handling issues??), has yet to follow-up). This used to be a place that I would patronize a few times a year for holiday or special occasion shopping and was always met decent, helpful people but not anymore. Also, this is a franchisee location - while Hallmark corporate was extremely helpful in regards to my issue (and sounded like this location was in violation of the corporate policy), there was nothing they could do to "hold them accountable". I'm to get a gift card for my troubles but it is not even close to the money I would be out if the other gift giver in this mess hadn't been able to sort things out from their side. Suggest avoiding location or buying online and picking up. read more

I loved this store until recently. The staff used to be very helpful and welcoming. Now it seems they have not done enough training and seriously lack customer service skills. Sadly, I won't be returning after 3 years of consistent purchases. read more

Hidden gem for me to find in Crossroads mall. Store was crowded with lots of displays and aisles were thin to walk down. With holding things in my hands I was caution not to hit things. Staff was pleasant to speak to! read more
