Great pizza, thin crust. Very clean & friendly staff. There are small indoor & outdoor seating areas and restrooms available. Highly recommend! Support local!

Epitome of small business! Quaint and clean establishment with a few tables and friendly service! Got the Taco Pizza and Pepperoni and tasted just like the great pizza home in the Midwest. I look forward to returning!

I ordered by phone before we left to pick up. The man was curt on the phone, no biggie. We came to this place, our first time, we like trying new pizza. I walked in, and there was a couple eating and a man waiting. I smiled at the couple eating, and they hastily looked away and pretended not to see me. Odd, lol. Anyway, I went up to the counter and saw an older man working. He saw me, didn't say anything, and continued on with whatever he was doing. I always dislike that, when workers in the food industry don't acknowledge you when you walk in. Anyway, the old guy finally walks up to me, not with a smile or friendly greeting, but he barked, with a scowl on his face, "What do you need?" I, taken aback with the way I was spoken to, took a couple beats to gather my words, and he said, "You call in?? What's the name?" I told him, and he said gruffly, "It's gonna be about 15 more minutes!" I said ok and sat down. Now, the man waiting for his pizza got REALLY friendly service, the same old man called out to him in a friendly tone, "Hey your pizza is right here! Have a good day and Merry Christmas!" When our pizza was done, he rudely said, "You pizza is ready!" And he turned and walked away and mumbled something to an older lady, who walked over to help us. Mind you, with that first interaction with that totally RUDE man, I almost just said "forget it, not dealing with someone like YOU today!", which is exactly what I do whenever I get service like this, but I was already late for a dinner date with my daughter, and going to ANOTHER place and waiting would put me way past the hour. So, I chose to suffer through the unease of the entire encounter. Sitting in there with unfriendly patrons and an ill mannered, impolite and discourteous "man" did NOT make for a pleasant experience. I'm so glad we weren't eating there, because all I wanted to do was run from that place of bad vibes. It was 28 dollars for a large pepperoni, which was surprising, since the Yelp said it was an inexpensive place. Oh well. We finally sat down to eat, and I asked my fellow consumers their honest opinion of the pizza. Top comment, the crust is good, it's flaky like a pie. One said it tastes like a frozen Red Baron pizza. I thought that it was BURNT, (see pic) and the most important thing of all pizza, the cheese STRETCH. There's no stretch whatsoever on this pie. There was no flavor in the sauce, or the crust. But I did like the edge of the pizza, that was good. All in all, the ONE star is for the pizza crust and the pleasant lady who took my money at the register, I guess the man didn't want to take our check like he so nicely took the Caucasian man's before us. I'm native American, and I went there with my native American son, and we felt very out of place at this establishment, but I can't say if we were treated the way we were treated by that ill mannered man because of this. But what else could be the reason for the offensive attitude toward us? I have no clue. We won't be going back.

Such a cute little place, very friendly staff!! The wings are amazing crispy and the ranch was one of the best I've had, the pizza was really good too!!!

Been going to Ljs Pizza since early 1980s. Their pizza buffet had every flavor of pizza you could imagine- It Was Awesome! Now that Ljs has become the "pizza patio" - the pizza buffet is gone but the pizza flavor is just like it always has been. Love their bbq and pasta pizza plus the house special with all meats and all veggies. All i need now is one of their famous ice cream cones :)

I was pleasantly surprised with the pizza here. It's definitely a hole in the wall, Ma and Pa shop, tucked away in north Mesa. I just got a pizza with pepperoni, ham, jalapeno, and onion. It was pretty good. The curst had a buttery layer flavor to it It reminded me of Home Run Inn pizza (frozen and Chicago pizzeria). It was pretty good, I could see myself going back if I'm in the neighborhood.

Sausage, Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Jalapenos....Talk about perfection and Joy, so absolutely fantastic!

For those that know, this is one of the best hiddens old schools gems in the valley! Just consistently great pizza! The crust is perfection and they take their time and do it properly whereby the pizza comes out of the oven as a true masterpiece of beauty! Tonight I had a Sausage, Pepperoni, Mushroom and Jalapeno large pizza! Just absolutely fantastic, I managed to scarf down there slices on the drive home! Long time, great place...Much Love...If you've eaten Pizza from The Home Run Inn (Chicago) or had their frozen pizzas, LJ's is very reminiscent! Better to reheat than eat cold!

And then imagine finding out that said location is INSIDE an incredible brewery. Baby... when I tell you I almost ascended. Hello? Excuse me? Did the pizza and beer gods personally hear my dramatic little prayers? Did they not only bless us with this heavenly combo, but ALSO decide to rotate different pizza specials every single week just to keep me emotionally unstable? Because THEY. DID. I genuinely cannot stop talking about this place. At this point my friends are one more pizza rant away from blocking my number, but I refuse to apologize. Every single time I go, I convince myself this is my favorite pizza... and then next week they drop another masterpiece and suddenly I'm questioning everything I thought I knew about myself. What makes this place so ridiculously good is that they are fearless. They're out here using sauces as bases that other pizza places would clutch their pearls over. Ingredients that sound chaotic on paper somehow turn into the most beautiful, life-altering bite you've ever had. It's giving culinary drag performance. Bold. Unexpected. A little dramatic. Perfect execution. And the brewery vibe? Elite. The energy is fun, relaxed, a little loud in the best way, and honestly the perfect setting to destroy an entire pizza while pretending you'll "just have one slice." Lies. All lies. The beer pairings somehow make every flavor pop even more, which feels scientifically unfair. Also can we normalize restaurants understanding that pizza should be FUN? Because this place gets it. They're creative without being pretentious, experimental without losing quality, and somehow every pie still feels comforting and familiar while also making you gasp like you just heard fresh gossip. At this point I don't even ask what the special is anymore. I just trust them blindly like a toxic relationship, except this one actually delivers happiness. 10/10. Life-changing. Emotionally supportive pizza.

Located on the main drag of downtown Mesa you can eat inside or on the patio. There aren't servers, instead, you order at the front desk. The menu has a variety of options, mostly pizza (both classics and signature pies). There is also a bar area where you can grab a pint or two of local brews The interior was electric with people enjoying pizza, locations, watching the Olympics, and just unwinding for the day. We ordered a salad and a couple of pizzas. The salad came out first, and the pizzas weren't far behind Being a self-proclaimed pizza snob, the pizza was fine. It wasn't overly flavorful, and it didn't blow me away, but it also didn't disappoint. The salad was LOADED with toppings, and I was somewhat impressed there. Unfortunately, polling the group, the beer was slightly lackluster. But again, this spot is a fun vibe and is great if you want to hang out for a bit and enjoy a brewery/pizza parlor type atmosphere Some tips: When you're done with your drinks and meal consider walking down the Main Street and stopping by one of their many bars, museums, and other eateries There isn't a lot of parking off the main drag, but we were fortunate enough to find parking on a few different occasions Cheers!

Food: hefty breakfast sandwich w/ sausage, cream ala creme (biscuit & fruit), BHH French toast w/ bacon. The sammy was made w/ three eggs so it was a large sammy, kinda messy. I think they need to spread out the eggs a bit more so they cover more space & don't slip out from between the bun as easily. The hashbrowns were perfectly crispy. The French toast was also a hefty serving, especially w/ the bacon tacked on. The biscuit came out w/o the whipped cream, but the young gentleman quickly brought it out when I pointed out it was M.I.A. It was not as sweet as I was expecting; not sure I'd get that again. The biscuit was juicy, buttery perfection and the gravy was real, not the bland packet gravy some places use. The bacon came out at the exact crispness for the best melt in your mouth bite, and they were huge pieces. The hashbrowns were good, nothing fancy though. Eggs cooked perfect (over easy for me). I also got the mocha iced latte and it was very chocolate forward, not much coffee flavor, but still tasty. My only complaint, and I mean ONLY complaint, is that price point. I spent $25 for the biscuits and gravy with a coffee and left hungry. I think had they given me two biscuits instead of just one, maybe that would fix everything.
