Just moved right around the corner from this spot and it was incredible! I came by on a Friday night and was able to be seated right away. The service was very nice and super friendly/helpful with everything on the menu. The ambiance was cozy and warm, the perfect chill dinner or would also be a great lunch spot. A perfect local spot! I just moved to the area was very happy to find Little Mo. The food was exactly what I hoping for - the banh mi had a big pork chop with tons of flavor, the pho was loaded with delicious meat (including short rib!), and the Thai tea was not too sweet, just right. As someone who lived in Houston and has had a taste of the Houston Vietnamese food, this is the saddest banh mi I've ever had. The first issue is that it was like $14, which I would never ever ever spend for a banh mi, but my friend really wanted banh mi and convinced me to give this a go. The second and main issue was that it was just straight up not good. The bread was way too crisp and hard and not fluffy at all. The eggplant mushroom filling was strange and didn't pair well at all. It was a little tough, salty, and had a slight taste of dishwater. I absolutely hate wasting food but the only way I was able to come close to finishing this was by removing the eggplant mushroom. It's also a red flag that this is served with fries, and a reminder why I don't eat Vietnamese food in NYC. read more

It's the best beef pho I've had in quite a while! Typically, I order from 5ive Spice, but they close early, so I tried Little Mo tonight. By far the most beef I've had in any pho I've ordered in Brooklyn, and I've ordered from many different Vietnamese restaurants. The broth was good, and they had plenty of toppings. The pictures online didn't do it justice. I also got the wings, which were good, but I think they'd be better in person. Still, they arrived piping hot on a Saturday night, so I'm not complaining. I had such a memorable experience here and shout out/happy belated birthday to our server, Leo! He was very friendly and funny and my friends and I had such a great time here. We came to celebrate our friends birthday and after we got to chat with Leo a bit, we learned it was his birthday too! You could definitely tell how proud he was of the food here and of the restaurant. I ordered the Mo Special, cheese corn butter, and fried gyoza. Honestly, 5/5 for all of them in my opinion. The broth was absolutely delicious and I could've eaten more. The corn cheese butter is such a simple yet delicious side and if you come here, I would recommend getting that! First time trying this place I did a pick up order. Although I was super late to pick it up it was still amazing (definitely do add ons if it's bare). Second time I did delivery and I dont know if it's because they did a better job at delivering than I am at picking up but having it warm was even more scrumptious *drool*. Tried the mo pho this time and although yummy it just wasn't to my liking (too much meat for me, I guess). But there was one of the meats that melted in my mouth and I would eat a whole pot of that. For delivery I also got an order of spring rolls (not crispy and meh flavors). It probably got like that because of moisture buildup but it was also just mild in flavor and super oily. And an order of the cucumbers which sadly also lacked any pow thats typical of that side dish. May be better dinning in.
