Had a late-night family dinner at Little Mo in Brooklyn and overall had a really good experience. We ordered the pho, shaking beef rice dish, lotus fries, and fried wings. The lotus fries were definitely the standout for me -- super crunchy and probably my favorite thing we ordered! The shaking beef was also tasty, and everything came out pretty quickly. For drinks, we tried the rosy lychee apple, mango rosemary, and Thai tea. They were decent, although nothing particularly blew me away. The atmosphere was nice, service was good, and the food came out fast, which is always a plus for a late-night meal. Overall, a solid spot for a casual dinner with family. Ordered the bulgolgi cheesesteak after a friend recommended it and it could not have been more disappointing. It was basically just bread with almost 0 meat on it - after I asked the guy before I paid if it was enough meat on it or if I should order double meat and he assured me it had "plenty of meat on it" (it did not; the normal sized order was paltry at best - my friend after I showed him the amount of meat they put claimed they usually put a LOT more than this, but I'm not sure I believe him considering how little was on this one...). Needless to say I recommend going somewhere ode unless they increase the amount of meat in the sandwich as it is WAY too expensive for the current quality you get for it. Save your money. read more

The menu had a great variety and everything was delicious! The Mo Special Pho had a flavorful broth and super tender meat. The Mo Wangs (both flavors) were a must-get. The KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) banh mi with kimchi fries was another standout. The brussel sprouts were yummy and saucy. The cucumbers were a little too oily for my liking, but the cucumbers themselves were refreshing. Not pictured: Viet iced coffee, which was very solid, strong coffee and not too sweet. I have mixed feelings because I experienced inconsistencies with the food. I want to Little Mo to be consistent with their food and I'm hesitant to order via app.... My experience involves ordering the same exact food two days in a row. Day one: KFC banh mi and crispy shrimp banh mi. Via app, we requested spicy sandwiches and received packets of hot sauce and hoisin sauce. The sandwiches were fresh, delicious, and the ingredient ratio was perfect. Two Thai iced teas, which was one of the best in Brooklyn. Happy, happy, joy, joy! So impressed that we ordered again the next evening, omitting the tea and adding kimchi fries. Day Two: skimpy, skimpy, skimpy! Where's the chicken? Where's the shrimp? There was more bread and veggies than anything else. No hot or hoisin sauces. A whole different experience altogether that you expect to happen over time, or whatever for some restaurants, but that was incredibly disappointing. The only saving grace where the Kimchi fries which were delicious and which is why the restaurant received four stars instead of three. I would've loved to give them five stars. read more

Hubby and I came here for dinner prior to seeing a show in the area. We wanted something quick, that would fill us up, because we would be drinking later. I love Vietnamese food. I could have used more heat but I liked them. The fry was nice and they stayed crispy in their sauce. Shrimp Bao Buns - these were a special. There were several different variations of bao and we went with these. I loved them and could eat two plates by myself. Kimchi Fries - these were good but definitely could have used more kimchi. I love it, so too much is not enough for me. Bulgogi Cheesesteak Banh Mi - this was sooo good! My hubby ordered this and I had a couple of bites. I enjoyed it a lot. Mo Special Pho - I opted for this and loved it. It's packed with lots of meat and I also added on a fried egg and had come chili crunch on the side.
