Very disappointed experience with H&I Express Tai. I ordered through Uber Eats and my red Curry soup arrived completely spilled- the container was not secure at all. When I contacted the restaurant, no one was willing to take responsibility. Instead, they kept putting me on hold until i eventually hung up. After that, they blocked my number. Mistaken happen, but ignoiring the customer and avoiding accountability is not okay. I definitely won`t be ordering from them again. read more

Our recent experience of doing takeout at H&I Express has probably led to the discovery of our new favorite Thai spot in Brooklyn! Every dish was absolutely delicious! The Drunken Noodle with Chicken, Red Curry with Shrimp, and Pad Prig Khing with Chicken stood out the most. The Green Curry Fried Rice, Scallion Pancake, Roti Canai, and Thai Iced Tea were also fantastic. For dessert, the Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake was outstanding and the perfect way to end the meal. While the Mango Sweet Sticky Rice didn't hold up as well for takeout and was just okay, it didn't take away from how much we enjoyed the overall experience. Highly recommend! read more

Because I wasn't able to answer the phone because I was on an important call, they canceled my order. I called the restaurant for them to redeliver but all I got was a busy tone because they hung up on me. Tried to call multiple times but they didn't pick up. Totally not KAPUNKA. Thai hospitality doesn't smell like Thai hospitality here. I can't understand - what is the problem with Asians and to the restroom? This is the second establishment where visiting the restroom is humiliating and rude. I stopped by to pick up my order and asked to go pee in the bathroom. It's been a blast! You have no idea! The bag lady wouldn't let me in. Toilet! As I understand it, they've been told by the owner not to let people in the bathroom. What kind of discrimination is this? How am I different from those who are allowed into their toilet temple? But I'm not used to being insulted. And when I did pee in their not-so-clean restroom, she got really hysterical. I suggested we call the police. That cooled her down a bit. Definitely, if you want to save your nerves, just walk on by. There are plenty of decent Thai places in town where everyone is welcome. I got this for delivery and like all Thai places, I try their pad Thai first. I had the chicken one and it was pretty good. I had also ordered the tom yum fried rice. My reservation is that both dishes were a bit too heavy handed with the salt. Great food. Fresh and the delivery is always really quick. Even during the ridiculousness within which we currently live. Enjoyed the papaya salad and I was able to get an extra sauce on the side so I could increase the heat. Also they have Chinese broccoli with crispy pork which is always a good sign. I'm at work tonight so I only had time to try the chicken satay so far...the chicken was perfectly cooked. The seasoning is authentic and so flavorful.
