It was spicy, sour, sweet and the meat was actually cooked to perfection. Pomelo salad was great, grapefruit was sour. Sauce was sweet. Peppers were spicy. The peanut crunch was great. Every neighborhood should have a thai place as solid as this one, where service is efficient and warm and you can stop in to grab a quick take out lunch or sit down for a solid dinner on any given night. We started with the geoy hor cheese which is basically a crab rangoon. They're small but yummy and fresh. I got the stir fried basil chicken with a fried egg that's on the seasonal menu right now. Our go-to order usually includes some combination of the following: - Curry Puffs - Chicken Satay - Khao Pod Ping (Grilled Corn) - Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp - Tum Khao Pod Kai Kem - Phad Med Mamong Him Ma Phan - Gaeng Karee The appetizers are honestly my favorite! Don't skip the sauces that come with the chicken satay and the curry puffs. The curry puffs are so light, crispy, and flavorful. The Tum Khao Pod Kai Kem (corn salad with salted duck egg) is so, so good! The sweet flavors of the corn and the salty duck egg are the perfect combination. I love all of the noodle dishes we've tried from them, too. Whenever I get the Tom Yum Soup, I get it with shrimp because the chicken option tends to be on the dryer side. Gauy Tiew Tom- A pork soup with rice noodles, bean sprouts, cilantro, pork ball and chinse broccoli. This dish was very flavorful and contained more ingredients than I expected. I ordered delivery from here. The food arrived hot. I got the khao phad ka prow (basil fried rice) with tofu. It was very tasty. Not at all spicy, so I wish I asked for a little extra heat. The tofu was a nice, fairly firm texture. The veggies tasted fresh. I also got the po pia thod (veggie spring rolls). Crispy and satisfying, this is a hard dish to get wrong. The food here is everything you hope for in a Thai restaurant, very authentic. Be sure to make reservations for dinner, it gets busy. We tried a few dishes and shared everything. All dishes are pretty big enough to share. The deep fried spring rolls are always a go to, they were delicious. They had a lot of great appetizer options. The Pad Thai with Tofu was so good, probably one of the best I've ever had. We also tried the Guay Tiew Pad Sei Eiw (flat noodles), amazing. And the Gaeng Massman Curry, oh the flavors in this dish - chef's kiss! I love a good curry dish with potato, avocado, peanut, and coconut milk - this definitely hit the spot. We tried the sangria, it was good but not my favorite. It wasn't a very big carafe and they served little cups to drink from. A bit overpriced for what you get. We started with spiced papaya salad, steamed pork dumplings and Thai summer roll. Love this Thai spot in Bushwick! Before living in the city I wasn't a huge Thai fan but Klom Klorm is an example of why I changed my mind. I've had a number of dishes here from rice, noodle, soups, and apps. Everything is delicious and authentic. I appreciate the spice levels here as well. Really good authentic Thai food here. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to authentic Asian food and this place does not disappoint at all! Every dish was fantastic and super flavorful. The pad see yew was probably the only thing that could have used a bit more flavor but the pad khee mao was excellent as were the fried rices we ordered and the som tum. I've always liked the food at this place since it has been one of the better Thai restaurants in the area. Excitedly took my visiting family here recently, only to receive repeated eye-rolls from the service wait-staff was rather inhospitable and disappointing. It was rather embarrassing for me since I was the one suggesting the restaurant. Instead of putting their best food and service forward, it seemed like they're too uptight to serve. We repeatedly had to request basics and felt like we were intruding on our wait staff. To add to this, we were levied an 18% tip compulsively on the bill after receiving such treatment. I know we are living in twisted times. But this is still NY and there's no point in going to a restaurant that loses touch with its human side. Food doesn't matter, most new Thai restaurants in the area are doing a good job at recreating similar dishes. Unfortunately I will be avoiding this place due to this display of hostile behaviour. Please don't bring family there if you don't want them to be treated poorly while dining. read more

Came across this Thai spot by accident in Brooklyn and it was such a delicious spot. It's decorated with flowers which is a nice background for pictures. The service was great, the server was attentive and fast. The lychee martini was strong and sweet, just how I like it. The summer rolls were very fresh and it had avocado, cilantro, carrots with a slightly spicy dipping sauce. It was a great way to start the meal. The pineapple fried rice with chicken was absolutely amazing; the rice was fluffy and the chicken was very tasty. The pad sei eiw with beef was definitely my favorite dish, the noodles were perfectly cooked and it had such a burst of flavor. I love the interior here, it's beautifully decorated inside. You can't just be glad you came because of the beautiful decor. This review is for take-out so keep that in mind. Geoy Hor Cheese (Crab + Cream Cheese Puff), wonderfully fried that retains its crisp and crunch, flavor is nice and strong. Khao Soi Stewed Beef is delicious - the broth is deep and flavorful, with plenty of boiled and crispy noodles and large chunks of stew beef. My only gripe here is there weren't any pickled vegetables to complete the flavor profile of this dish. Tom Yum Soup was bland and a bit watered down. The togo container here had actually exploded because of the way they cut the lid. It's obvious they already know about this issue since they double bag (brown+plastic) takeout orders. Really disappointing and no way I'm going to make the trek back to tell them about it bc it's just going to happen again anyways. Either way, Klom Klorm meets expectations in some areas but lacks in other areas. Had to try this place because they have so many 5 star reviews. Decor wise, this place get 5 stars. Designed like eating in a rustic backyard garden filled with flowers! Such a pleasant atmosphere. Very serene. Food wise, I ran into some issues. The Beef Kao Soi was just way too salty for my taste. There was also a strong sour note that I didn't care for. It was also a bit runny. I like my curry to be thicker. Beef pieces were on the tough side. Pad see Ew. Noodles had a not pleasant gummy pasty texture. They are supposed to be smooth in texture, with a slippery mouth feel. We ordered the beef salad to start which was really good nicely acid and with decent heat could've even had a few more Chilis in the sauce. For dinners we family styled the Tom yum soup dinner thing. It had these different textured noodles in it. I didn't find it to be spicy at all but would've welcomed more spice but was definitely very flavorful. We had the yellow curry which was very flavorful, maybe a tad salty but it said spicy and I didn't get any hint of spice. We also had the pad kee Mao which felt homey. I love the noodles and the flavoring. This dish had a small kick. My only complaint is that the dishes didn't have enough spice otherwise I definitely enjoyed all the food I ate and would come back if in the area. Have to agree with several other reviewers, this place has the best pad Thai I've found in Brooklyn! Found it searching a Reddit thread and am so glad I did. Along out the pad Thai, we also tried the green curry which was very good as well. Got the prawn option for the protein in both, and was shocked at how well they were prepared. I think this is what did it for me. They took the time to clean and butterfly the shrimp which were cooked to perfection.
