I just recently came here for the very first time to Golden Dragon Kitchen and they had affordable lunch specials. I got myself 2 chicken broccoli with white rice platters for $9.50 and a 4 piece chicken fried chicken wing with fried rice for $10. Together it came out to $29. The cool thing about the chicken and broccoli lunch special was that it included a Poland Spring water bottle so I got 2 for free. That was such a good deal! The rice was very fresh and the sauce in the chicken and broccoli was so tasty and went well with the rice. The chicken wings were very crispy and crunchy. I loved the food a lot that I'm going to stop by here again. The owners of this place were also very nice and welcoming. They took my order seamlessly. They only took cash. There were neat and clean tables with table cloth to sit down and eat inside. The whole place was very clean. read more

What is going on? This has been my favorite Chinese place for 5+ years. I ordered my regular sesame tofu today and it was entirely different! The tofu had some weird breading on it that soaked up almost all the sauce. But it wasn't even the regular sauce, not even the right color! It's normally brown and delicious. This was ORANGE, thick, overly sweet, and tasted completely different. (I think it was sweet and sour with sesame seeds on top! Why would you do this?) Took over 2 hours to receive. Missing entire meal items. $70 for two entrees and missing our sushi roll. And got yelled at for asking how long it would be (it had been n hour and a half.) all for elementary school lunch level Chinese food. Would never recommend. read more

This restaurant literally heard my voice and decided that they didn't want to service me. I tried to reiterate continuously that I only live one mile away, which is essentially walking distance. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant as they are seemingly prejudice and assume that Diamond St in Greenpoint is somehow an off limits area to serve. read more

If I could give this 10 stars I would. Golden dragon is seriously the best takeout Chinese place I've ever been to. They are so quick, and the food is soooooo delicious. Every time I'm away from home and I come back, I get golden dragon immediately. It's been around forever too (for a reason!) They are reliable too! It has a lunch special and other specials on added extras for spending over a certain amount that really make it worth it. It's also affordable. It was very tasty. The general tsos wasn't as spicy as I typically go for but it was still really good. My go to Chinese restaurant was closed and so I went out on a limb to try this place which I've seen many times walking home. I'm glad I did and will certainly go back given the chance. My gf doesn't like spicy food and so this might be one general tsos we could actually split. I ordered the small and it was a good portion so a large would surely be enough for both of us. I'm giving them a five star for their general tso's chicken, simply because its the only thing I order when treck over to WillyB. Those that know me (and we've all had our fair share of G.T.C. all over NY/NJ), healthy or unhealthy, can attest to this. Not only that, but because I have seem some gym rat, health conscious, veggie loving friends, house this thing in a matter of minutes. It's not your salty dark-sauced with lump size burn in your mouth crispy chicken, nor your fancy shmancy dark meat in fancy shmancy XO based sauce. This is just some satisfying good 'ole G.T.C. at a very very reasonable price. Add to it, an Asahi or Kirin and call it a day. Another typical greasy, salty chinese takeout joint in the neighborhood. Out of Kam Long, Kam Sing, Fortune Place and Golden Dragon I'd say Golden Dragon is the best. It's not as greasy as the others and you can get two(maybe three) meals worth of food for $14. read more

I really like this place. The food is good and isn't super expensive like a lot of places in Williamsburg, or New York for that matter. I like that you can order online and they give you something free if you spend over a certain amount. This is my go to Chinese take out spot. Great sweet & sour chicken, spare ribs, pork dumplings. You name it, they make it & it's delicious.

Food is good and very good prices. My only issue is the rude woman who is taking the orders. She gave me the worst tude ever and i was very polite as far as i know, and basically threw money at me cause I ask her for another order of food. When i ask for a refund she refused and i had to call the cops. Long story short never coming back to this place and never got my money back. Worst service I've ever had. read more

By far the best tasting and most consistent bang-for-your-buck Chinese takeout in Northside Williamsburg. Staff are all very friendly and pleasant. I recommend their Chicken with Garlic Sauce or their Boneless Friend Chicken. Crazy big portions for around $7, comes with free egg roll or soda. read more

New to the neighborhood, so this is the only Chinese I've tried and it was pretty good. Typical take out, not super greasy. Our favorites were the orange chicken and green beans. They offer deals for orders of certain sizes (we got free soda) so be sure to ask the woman at the front counter. Be warned... dishes come with a LOT of rice, so no need to order sides! read more

Two stars for convenience, speed and friendly service. The food, however, is another story. I have tried this place three times and have never really enjoyed what I have eaten. The crab rangoon are okay and I admit that, when I'm in a crab rangoon kind of mood, I might go back for those. The General Tso's chicken, beef in broccoli garlic and sweet and sour pork, however... I would not order again. Though the portion sizes are fairly generous, the food is very greasy and the meat has been rather tough.
