37. Shanghai-Style Lo Mein and 2. Pork Dumplings

Noodles 8.5/10. Wish it had more sauce. And the fried pork dumplings are a 10/10! Very flavorful in the inside and juicy. I love the chili oil paired with the pork dumplings. Service: 8/10 they take a while (I ordered thru yelp pickup) Ambiance: it's a nice interior and vibe. Just briefly went in to pick up my food. I just order the pork dumplings when I come to this place. I want to try their other dumplings/buns.

I got a delivery order from M Shanghai. The food I order were 59. Shredded Beef with Chili pepper $20.25 and 37. Shanghai-Style Lo Main with pork $14.75 For Chinese restaurant and the quality of food compare to the price I feel it is a bit too high. The taste of food is okay I like shredded beef but not crazy about Lo-main. Because of the price point plus the taste, I'm not sure if I want to order from this place again.

2. Pork Dumplings 49. The Amazing Salt and Chili Pepper Shrimp

Would do 2.5 stars if a could. Not work the money. The Amazing Salt and Pepper Shrimp - was not amazing. The shrimp were small. Some were soggy. There was a breading falling off. Was $30 with brown rice. The fried pork dumplings were a bit tough. The mixed vegetable platter. $20. Was like flavorless boiled vegetables. Wanted to like this place but couldn't.

Seafood dumplings. Small, not much dough, fishy flavor.

Tonight I decided to splurge and pay double then I ever spend on mu shoo pork - they charge $18 for this dish and call it "fabulous mu shu." It's the worst I have ever had in my life. It's just plain flavorless cabbage. A couple of pieces of mushroom and flavorless pork mixed in. How could they call this fabulous and charge $18?!

I was really feeling Chinese food the other night so decided to give this place a try since sit was nearby. The place was pretty empty, but we decided to give it a try anyways. Sadly, the food was not very good, as I've cooked similar dishes at home that I think tasted better.

The food here genuinely surprised me because everything came out super fresh and hot. We ordered a BUNCH of dishes that I lost track of taking pictures, but a few really stood out. The steamed spare ribs were hot, tender, and flavorful; the taro pieces mixed in were great too. The chicken feet were cut in half for convenience and the taste and texture were spot on. The hargow surprised me with filling that was mostly shrimp which is sometimes too much to ask for sadly. My favorite might've been the honeycomb tripe (not the one in the stew). It came out steaming and had that ideal bounce without being chewy, I'm pretty sure I cleaned more than half of it. Overall, the freshness and heat of every dish made a huge difference. The restaurant had a great vibe and service was good although they accidentally charged us an extra order of chicken feet (which was resolved when we pointed it out). Definitely worth checking out if you're craving dim sum in the city.

No pushcarts to order but rather you fill out a paper with what you want based on pictures and wait staff bring out. Food came out and all was piping hot. Everything was pretty tasty with the exception of the clams which were a bit sandy, and the portion was small for the $13.95 price tag. Standouts included the beef tripe, eggplant, and the shrimp with tofu was a first for me. There is a charge for tea based on which one you order ranging from $1-$1.50. It does add up so be mindful of what you order.

The soup dumplings especially were a standout. The restaurant has a very family-friendly, welcoming atmosphere, there were lots of families dining, which made it feel lively and authentic. What really stood out was the service. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind, we rarely had to ask for anything twice, and often they anticipated what we needed before we even asked. Tell him how many in your party and he'll give you a piece of paper with a number on it, he'll blow through those announcements quickly, so listen up. - The numbers for a table aren't always sequential, he's playing a game of Tetris with tables. - If you've got less than a full table, be prepared to share a table, but it's no big deal. - Steamed Pork Bun is better than Baked Pork Bun (but not by much), which is better than the Crispy Fried Pork Dumpling (mochi!). Baked Pork Pastry was a little meh, it was extremely rich and ours was in that awkward in-between temperature. - Chive dumplings are pretty shrimp-forward, good, but shrimp-forward. - If there's something you want and it doesn't make its way to you, ask! Servers retrieved several things for us and the tables around us (seemingly) happily.

The ambiance is calm and cozy -- definitely a good spot whether you're grabbing a couple drinks, a quick bite, or sitting down for a full dinner. The tuna and avocado paired with the spicy red sauce really made it stand out -- honestly tasted great and something I'd get again. Also had the Mongolian steak with rice, which was another highlight. Presentation was fire -- it comes out still heating on a hot platter, which makes the whole experience feel elevated. Flavor matched the presentation too. Service was solid overall, no real issues there. The only downside was with a deal they were advertising ("3 for $33"). It was shown on their website and even posted outside the restaurant, which was actually one of the main reasons we chose the spot. When we tried to use it, we were told they weren't honoring it that night and that the deal had been causing them to lose money. I understand adjusting pricing if something isn't working, but if that's the case, the promotion should be removed or clearly communicated ahead of time.
