While waiting for my take-out order, I witnessed something extremely unhygienic in the kitchen. One of the employees was sitting on a crate, eating dinner from a black plastic to-go container. After finishing his meal, he rinsed the container in the sink, using his hand and water, then filled it with water to rinse his mouth, drinking from the corner of the container and spitting into the sink. Shockingly, he then placed the same container back onto the stack of "clean" to-go containers next to the chef, which would be the next container used to serve another customers to-go order. The way they season the food is what keeps you going back. I can not seem to find Egg Foo Young and they make it with love. The flavors of the chicken wings and the amount of food they give you so worth every penny. The portions are genius for these days. I would defiantly recommend. read more

The perk is fast and free delivery in the Williamsburg neighborhood area. The delivery time beats ordering via apps. Food arrives fresh and hot. The restaurant didn't advertise it but you can actually get vegan Chinese food from this place. They only use vegetable oil in their cooking. Also, if you mentioned to them you don't want eggs in any of their vegetarian dishes, you can have quite a vegan meal variety from this place at very reasonable price. They even give you a free can of soda with your order. Five stars for the friendly, fast and free delivery service. Food taste like a regular Chinese takeout food place. I dream of eating food from here every day. Every time I visit my boyfriend in NY, we make this a must-have. They have really good and cheap food. Some of our favorites are the fried plantains (they're so fantastic), rib tips, honey fried chicken, and pork fried rice. The food is super comforting and homey. If I lived in NY with him, I would bug him to come here way too often. And he loves it too so he'd go. I just wanted some beef & brocolli, scallion pancakes and crab rangoon to eat on my couch until I inevitably end up in a food coma. After my long search, I've finally found the place. My husband got the General Tso's, which he said was some of the best he's had in a long time, along with an egg roll. Cheap and plentiful, I'm probably not going to say anything enlightening on that front. Do NOT come here if you're at all afraid of TONS OF OIL on your food. I believe that they DON'T use MSG, because unlike the places that do, I was not compelled to eat more than 1/2 my portion (a "pint" no less). You fill up fast because of all that oil. I hate to admit it, but I think I prefer the MSG. I had ordered two pint sized entrees, one was the Ma Pao Tofu and I knew that would come with tons of sauce, and the other was what was advertised as "steamed, no oil, no cornstarch" broccoli/bean curd but by the time I got home, I saw it was coated in brown sauce and oil, probably cornstarch, too. My plan was to mix and stretch this stuff out to two meals and I wouldn't feel like I had just consumed a cup of cheap vegetable oil. Oh well. When I wanted to use contactless payment, the cashier not wearing a mask at all needed to grab my phone and carry it behind the desk to process the payment and hand it back. Last night I phoned in an order and picked it up on the way home from work. I first found the end of a duck sauce packet (my tongue discovered it). This dive on the corner of Bedford and Grand serves up hefty portions of Americanized Chinese food for cheap. There's a reason the place is packed at lunchtime with construction workers and men you know do physical labor for work. Food Sing packs in the food as if preparing you for your last meal. The food is tasty, not super greasy, and is definitely filling. All you shrimp and broccoli fans, they do broccoli right. Flash fried and crispy. Even after a train ride back to Manhattan, my broccoli stayed crunchy. Don't think of eating your food in the tiny space here...there are two counters and possibly 4 stools and when it's busy you will have people staring at your food. Rather, take it to go and stroll to one of the many parks adorning the Williamsburg waterfront now. Don't be deterred by the long lines, especially at lunchtime. These Chinese workers have the brisk, efficient work habits of the immigrant worker who knows time is money. They write your order in a notebook, they holler it to a cook, and after a short wait(considering the line), they hand you your food. There are few places left in NY that serve American Cantonese food this good and in such quantity; I forgive them their B rating(. The kitchen is open anyway, right behind the counter and you can actually watch the cooks whip up your food.). The $6 lunch special is an amazing deal. Order a few, sample and enjoy. I could eat the shrimp with broccoli a few times week. And if you are worried about a little oil, wash it down with some good Chinese tea. I ordered 6 chicken wings and white rice with broccoli. Also another order of 4 wings with French fries. My total came up to $27.00. I thought that was a bit overpriced so I looked at the menu. The menu states that 4 chicken wings and fries cost $7.75. So if that's the case my other order costs $20? When I confronted the worker, he stated that the menu is old.
