    Lemonade + OJ

My roommate is always ordering food from here, so I have been wanting to check it out for quite some time now. I finally went there and ordered the Sesame Shrimp combination platter, which included pork fried rice and a shrimp egg roll. I also ordered a medley of 3 juices: Lemonade, pineapple, and orange juice. I liked the juice drink. It was a really nice combination. I found it to be sweet and refreshing. The sesame shrimp was absolutely delicious and expertly breaded with a ton of tasty well seasoned sauce, along with a nice sprinkling of sesame seeds. The shrimp itself was both tender and juicy. A few yummy pieces of fresh broccoli accompanied the dish. I also enjoyed the pork fried rice, which had plenty of pieces of succulent and flavorful pork. There were also bean sprouts and onion mixed in with the rice. The egg roll was filled with vegetables... So much so that at first I thought there was a mistake and they had given me the vegetable egg roll, instead of the shrimp one that I asked for. As I continued to eat it, there were some small pieces of shrimp, but not that much. I would have liked it more if there were shrimp throughout. I also found the skin of the egg roll to be on the thick side. I came back and ordered the shrimp chow mein combination platter, which I expected to be made with cooked noodles. However, when I returned home, I saw that it was just shrimp with different vegetables. The shrimp were decent - Quite large and cooked well, and the veggies were wonderfully crunchy. I think that the "chow mein" part was the package of crispy Chow-Mein Noodles, which were really good. I just wanted the cooked noodle meal so overall, wasn't satisfied. Also, this time I tried the roast pork egg roll, which I think I preferred. The prices are really great. All of the combination platters are around $7.50-11.50 and the portion sizes are abundant. There are other few things that I would like to try from this place. However, after the mix up the second time around, I will be more careful and ask questions about whatever I decide to order next time.

I had the lo mein with beef and broccoli. The lo mein is made just right, the level of salt and msg really slaps. (That's the best way I can describe it.) The beef is tender and juicy, I can tell they use corn starch. The sweet and savory brown sauce is good, not the best I even had. Sometimes the fried fish has bones in.

Good, quick American Chinese food and reasonable prices for today's time. The fried wontons is a must try. I would definitely come back because their pork fried rice was one of the better ones that I've had.

Friendly service, good grub, open at just the right time. That, and a ballin egg roll and beverage for just the right price.

My first time actually eating food from here. I was impressed with the menu which gave me several food options. The business is clean and neat. I decided to try the bourbon chicken with plain fried rice and I was very pleased with my order. The chicken was seasoned just right and tasted amazing. I also ordered a lemonade which came with a slice of lemon inside. I couldn't eat of my food that evening so I placed the rest inside of the refrigerator for lunch the following day. Lunchtime came around so I heated the rest of food for my lunch and the food tasted just as good as it did the previous day. The restaurant's decor wasn't anything spectacular, just plain and simple. I like to look around the restaurant if possible to check out the cleanliness of the business overall. It seemed to be very clean to me......in my opinion. I will definitely be back to patronize Hardee's again for great food and good service.

The special lunches come with a little fried rice, cold garlic flavored noodle, choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup, and main side. My buddies all enjoyed their meals. The beef chow fun was also really good and beef was nice and tender. The xiao long baos were excellent and is comparable to any place in California like DTF. Nice and juicy and great with some ginger, soy sauce, and spicy chili. Friendly service and food comes out pretty quickly. Credit card is accepted. I hadn't been to EDH in a while and was happy to see they do have later hours (with a smaller late night menu). The place was pretty busy at 10:00 PM last Saturday, with a wide range of diners, which is good for business. The food though, at least that night, was really disappointing. My friend had the chicken dumplings. He said they were okay. I thought they were overcooked. My steamed shrimp shumai were fine, but steamed, they didn't have much flavour. The edamame, on the other hand, had way too much when it should have almost none. I don't know if it was excess salt, MSG or something else, but not good. I should have sent them back. I hope this was just an off night for the kitchen.

This place is elevated overpriced Pan-Asian fusion food that I feel appeals to non-Asian people. As a Chinese person I'd never really pay these prices for this kind of food which I can get for much better at authentic local restaurants in Queens, Brooklyn or Chinatown. That said, I can see the intrigue to celebrate a birthday or event here because it's very photogenic and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The noodles and rice dishes were fine; nothing amazing or horrible necessarily. And the mocktail was good but small and not worth $12 per in my opinion! Overall, I wouldn't come back and recommend this place to any Asians but it's very pretty.

Then we got a handful of apps - everyone else swore by all the ones they'd had - but I just tried the Salt & Pepper Shrimp and... sweet baby Jesus, this little plate had a wicked amount of flavor from every angle.  "Aggressively seasoned" might be an understatement.  Wild. Onto the mains and I ventured towards their Spicy Drunken Noodle (my go-to whenever I'm hitting a Thai restaurant on my home turf) and... yeah, you probably guessed it - incredible. Not the biggest portion but they made every single component sing with flavor. With so much going on - of course I needed to indulge with another drink (hey, I wasn't driving!). There were six of us, it came to about $100 a person... welcome to NYC. But we did get a wide selection of plates/food and those two drinks accounted for about $40 of my tab. (And you'll never see such a heavy wine pour at a restaurant... they filled the glass almost to the rim - which was not even something I'd do for myself when I'm home.) Definitely recommended.

The soup was creamy, rich, and had high quality seafood in it like abalone and sea urchin. The truffle beef had a really good strong truffle flavor and the sticky rice with lobster had nice crunchy bits of rice in it. The lobster could've had a bit more flavor and a nicer fried coasting on the shell. For the beef dish, they gave so little beef for an entree that is $46 on the menu. We could count the amount of beef cubes while the rest of the dish was mushrooms and onions. The dish was also not even filled. Half the plate was empty when it came out to our table.
