Pray tell, why would you send me on my way with 3 packets of duck sauce and one container of ketchup for crab Rangoon?? Where is the sweet & sour? Where is the sweet chili? Cheap. There was nothing that I ordered that needed ketchup. Nothing. There wasn't even soy sauce in the bag. Then had the unmitigated gall to charge $22 for the salt baked shrimp and told me I had to pay $5 extra to substitute the lo mein for white rice. Who is eating white rice with shrimp? Girl bye. I'm not paying almost $30 for one meal from a hood Chinese spot. If there's no heat in your establishment, your prices need to be in lowercase. If it looks like you might catch staph in your establishment, your prices need not to be so loud. I also believe they overcharged me. They did have a sign saying that the prices went up, but I think they may have been too cheap to print out a new menu if that was the case. I was going off of what they had on the wall for the general public. So as I stated, I ordered crab Rangoon ($7, allegedly), honey wings ($7, allegedly), a shrimp egg roll ($2, allegedly), spare rib tips with fried rice ($12, allegedly). My total was $31. My assumption is they probably charged me extra for pork fried rice, which I didn't ask him for. I know for a fact they are not charging tax because there's no way that you're forcing people to pay in cash while also charging them for taxes that you don't pay. The crab Rangoon was actually pretty decent even though I didn't have the sauce that comes with it. The honey wings were OK. They actually taste more like honey BBQ. I prefer C&Y honey wings. It's real honey and stay hot for an hour due to the way honey maintains heat. I also don't appreciate when these spots chop up a wing and call it two wings. 1 wing is the entire thing. STINGY. The spare rib tips I don't like and neither do I like their pork fried rice. The rice is a bit bland and I don't like those large spare rib tips. I prefer the boneless spare rib tips that C&Y has. A shrimp roll is a shrimp roll is a shrimp roll. It wasn't too bad and it was actually pretty happy. The shrimp was a little bit larger than those baby shrimp that they normally stuff in shrimp rolls. Their pricing is on par with C&Y yet I don't have no issues paying what they ask and their food is good aside from their lo mein. They are not stingy and have pretty decent customer service unlike the guy who took my order here who paused my order to take another order over the phone and tend to the person behind me. The food was tasty which is the Hardee way but the energy of the man behind the counter was atrocious! He was distracted by a personal call he was on and he seemed REALLY annoyed by my presence. Was craving some American Chinese food and found this place and decided to try it out for Sunday lunch. They have lunch specials with pork fried rice, entree of choice, broccoli, an egg roll and drink for weekdays but not on the weekends. The combination platters are essentially the same (but no drink) so if you come on a weekend and want a meal set like that, you can order one of those. I got the General Tso's chicken combination platter and crab rangoons. The crab rangoons were good, not too skimpy on the filling and crispy. The chicken and fried rice were really good and very fresh. It took me 20 minutes to commute home and the food was still super hot. Inside was no frills and didn't have tables for seating, it's definitely a takeaway place. It's cash only so make sure you bring some. I'll definitely be back again! read more

My roommate is always ordering food from here, so I have been wanting to check it out for quite some time now. I finally went there and ordered the Sesame Shrimp combination platter, which included pork fried rice and a shrimp egg roll. I also ordered a medley of 3 juices: Lemonade, pineapple, and orange juice. I liked the juice drink. It was a really nice combination. I found it to be sweet and refreshing. The sesame shrimp was absolutely delicious and expertly breaded with a ton of tasty well seasoned sauce, along with a nice sprinkling of sesame seeds. The shrimp itself was both tender and juicy. A few yummy pieces of fresh broccoli accompanied the dish. I also enjoyed the pork fried rice, which had plenty of pieces of succulent and flavorful pork. There were also bean sprouts and onion mixed in with the rice. The egg roll was filled with vegetables... So much so that at first I thought there was a mistake and they had given me the vegetable egg roll, instead of the shrimp one that I asked for. As I continued to eat it, there were some small pieces of shrimp, but not that much. I would have liked it more if there were shrimp throughout. I also found the skin of the egg roll to be on the thick side. I came back and ordered the shrimp chow mein combination platter, which I expected to be made with cooked noodles. However, when I returned home, I saw that it was just shrimp with different vegetables. The shrimp were decent - Quite large and cooked well, and the veggies were wonderfully crunchy. I think that the "chow mein" part was the package of crispy Chow-Mein Noodles, which were really good. I just wanted the cooked noodle meal so overall, wasn't satisfied. Also, this time I tried the roast pork egg roll, which I think I preferred. The prices are really great. All of the combination platters are around $7.50-11.50 and the portion sizes are abundant. There are other few things that I would like to try from this place. Only in desperation would I go back here. Picked up a few things which all were on entirely different levels from good to horrible so I'll explain further below. In general, it's super cheap and quick but you get what you pay for. Shrimp egg roll: the biggest disappointment. It tasted like an egg roll shaped piece of bread, definitely no shrimp inside, maybe only some old looking cabbage. Couldn't even take more than 2 bites. Sesame chicken: meh, just average, didn't really taste like sesame chicken too me. In fact it tasted almost identical to the orange flavor chicken that we also ordered, except with a few sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Made an order on their website with pay on pickup option. When I got there, I was told that the online ordering doesn't work and given an apology. I wasn't too surprised since this isn't a fancy establishment so no big deal. I ordered general tso chicken, and waited about 10 minutes before it was ready. Chicken, rice, and brocolli were all very good. The chicken was nice and crispy. Unfortunately it wasn't spicy at all. Next time I'll ask them to add some spice. My first time actually eating food from here. I was impressed with the menu which gave me several food options. The business is clean and neat. I decided to try the bourbon chicken with plain fried rice and I was very pleased with my order. The chicken was seasoned just right and tasted amazing. I also ordered a lemonade which came with a slice of lemon inside. I couldn't eat of my food that evening so I placed the rest inside of the refrigerator for lunch the following day. Lunchtime came around so I heated the rest of food for my lunch and the food tasted just as good as it did the previous day. The restaurant's decor wasn't anything spectacular, just plain and simple. I like to look around the restaurant if possible to check out the cleanliness of the business overall. It seemed to be very clean to me......in my opinion.
