My friends and I met up for brunch here last December. We wanted to meet as a pre-holiday gathering. The place was located in Long Island City. Since my friends and I all live in Manhattan, it was an adventure for us. A rooftop restaurant with an outdoor terrace yes please. Decor was gorgeous and sleek. Although the bar was small, it was lighted and eye-catching. A huge Nutcracker greets you as soon as you walk inside. The space was loft style with seating upstairs as well as an outdoor terrace. (Terrace was closed due to winter). There was a DJ booth upstairs as well which led me to believe the place might turn into a club/lounge. Lots of seating everywhere. The crowd was mild when we arrived with a few birthdays observed. As the day went on the crowd was a bit more lively. The food looked quite delicious as my friends ordered steak and eggs and an English Muffin dish with poached eggs and fries. Good sized portions for the price. However, my French Toast was less than desired. Three sad little pieces of a faux brioche bread that was served cold. No salad on the plate as you can see from the picture. This was my meal for the day and not satisfying at all. Our waitress was very nice and did her due diligence EXCEPT for our water service. We ordered water and she did not specify that there was a charge for it. When our bill came and we asked about it, she stated that we "asked for flat water not tap water". I did not recall her stating there was a charge. She assumed we wanted flat BOTTLED water and charged us for it. Not good service since she was not being transparent. Bathrooms were clean. The place is definitely a vibe. If you are looking for views of the city and overpricing in Queens, this is your place. I would have to weigh my options prior to a second visit as I can't say it would be my first choice.
Different menus all three times I've returned and Same star rating. At this point I am begging my friends NOT to have their birthday dinners here. PLEASE! On a positive note, the shrimp is probably the best menu item. Seasoned well and the sauce is great. I'd pass on the elote. It is crusted with seaweed which is just weird to me ...but if you like that then hey. The chips with the guac was a miss this time. The teriyaki chicken was cool The chicken chili fried rice was undercooked. And once again the branzino was an absolute miss. All around not one single person liked it . As far as the sides the sweet plantains were great . The mashed potatoes were terrible. I had to show the manager . There was nothing smooth and creamy about this. I literally cut it with a knife. She said wow ok I see . And gave us complimentary shrimp because of it. The desserts are a hard pass . Cheesecake and molten lava cake and just nothing special . The cheesecake is grainy . You can feel the sugar in your mouth. And the chocolate molten cake is a microwaved something if you want to call it cake . Our server was very responsive to our requests. I just wouldn't willingly come here again. Gave it the good ole three tries and now I can confidently say I'm good off it . Don't need to come back . I've had enough strobe lights and loud music. Shout out to the dancers tho! Bravo PS. The bar is top tier . If they opened the restaurant only for bar service, then I would certainly come in for that. Shout out to the elite bar tenders.
My friends & I dined outside. One of the cons about outdoor seating is that the tables are very short. The chairs are comfortable, but we were all crouching down to eat over the table. I am 5'1, and my friends are all 5'6 and above. Our backs all hurt terribly after only our appetizer. I ordered the Steak Frites. Although it was overcooked, it was well seasoned, and the chimichurri was delicious with it. I ordered medium rare, and recieved medium well. My friend ordered medium well, and recieved well done. Our waitress was not very nice at all, making our experience less fun than expected. I did enjoy the food, but I won't be coming back here.
Had a great time. I went to a SOS party event. Drinks were good. They didn't have my Amaretto but I ordered Vodka cranberry and pineapple and it bwas really good. I, also, ordered fries and sliders which were amazing. They placed the coleslaw inside the burger.
I came here for a birthday celebration. Our reservation was for 7pm. The restaurant wasn't busy at first. The music was great. A lot of current popular songs from different genres. At around 7:30 there wasn't an empty set in the house, even the bar was occupied. At about 8pm There was a live burlesque show. Which was very entertaining. One thing I can say although the music was loud you could still socialize with your party and not feel like you're screaming when you talk.
I've been here twice, however, only during the summer and only during the day. They offer a Pulsd brunch special, that is excellent value, if you plan to order more than one drink. Sometimes during brunch, they have special performances from aerialists, as well as an electric violinist. It becomes very loud and lively at this time if you are seated inside. Outside, it can get quite hot, but there is a great breeze. And it's a much quieter, aside from the elevated tracks of the subway when occasionally goes by, so you can have a conversation with people that are eating with, as well as a great view of the city. The food is solid, with decent vegetarian options. They haven't updated their physical menu so some of the drink options listed were not actually available. The only complaint I have is that they refuse to seat you unless your complete party is here, even if the majority of your party is here; for example, if five people out of six have arrived, they will still refuse to see you until the sixth person has arrived. I'll definitely be back; this is a solid option for a medium size group looking to do brunch without planning too for in advance, willing to travel a little bit into Queens, and with light dietary restrictions.
5/5 "BRANZINO AL CHIPOTLE SH 37: pan seared branzino fillet, truffle garlic mashed potato Lobster Butternut Squash Chowder Sauce with Chile"- This was really good, all layers were equally good: the fish, the mash & the sauce 3/5 "LOBSTER CRISPY RICE S.SH 26 Black Sesame Seeds, Spicy Creamy Fresh Lobster, Soy Wasabi Sauce, Caviar" This was ok, we weren't a fan of the crispy rice, more lobster would be appreciated 4/5 GUACAMOLE 10 * happy hr special price, originally 20 "Fresh Avocado, Cilantro, Chili Serrano * Grilled Pineapple Yuzu"- really good but skimpy topping 3/5 shrimp tacos- recommend eating this 1st, since it's not good when it's cold, but it was decent 5/5 service they even take pics of you for free, you can buy a portrait if you want
Rooftop Vibes! I've been to Lighthouse on two occasions. First was for dinner, early January so it was 2 degrees outside (didn't enjoy the rooftop vibes). Next I went the beginning of April for a boozy brunch. Perfect weather to take fab pictures outside. The service is always on point. So is the food. This is a very upbeat brunch and dinner scene. If you're looking for a place to have conversation, no music and catch up this isn't the place for you. The music is loud, DJ spinning hits, performers dancing around the room. It's a total vibe!
I had a nice time visiting this upscale rooftop in Long Island City. The ambience was energetic and friendly.. the views were excellent and the food and drinks. I recommend this venue.

Be mindful that while the space gets pretty lively (and a bit crowded during peak hours), the views and overall vibe make it worth it. The food was flavorful and well-presented, and the rooftop setting created the perfect backdrop for a night out. I had the ARROZ CHINO with Steak and Chicken ( really good and flavorful), for the table The Guac with Plantain chips for the table & Lobster Mac both good. and the rest of my party enjoy steak with Potatoes and Salmon with Vegatables. Service was friendly and attentive, though slightly slower once it got busier. Overall, I'd highly recommend it for date night, a celebratory dinner, or just catching up with friends over good food and great views. I'll definitely be back!
Went here for a birthday celebration and the food was amazing. Firt off, this place look great and it was great to see everyone dressed up. It felt great to be a part of this setting. The staff provided amazing service as they explained everything that was asked regarding the menu. Even the dancers they had was great and made sure everyone had a great time. Definitely looking forward to coming back here again.
Drove up from Maryland for a galentines day with my girls. We decided to end our day with a dinner at the Lighthouse Rooftop. Let me say this ambiance of the resturant is beautiful, the staff is friendly and the entertainment is amazing. However, the food was the low point of the night. Two of the orders were wrong, which they fixed rather quickly. The other two. Bronzino dishes were cold as if they were sitting or made in advance. By the time we got our food it was midnight so the thought of having to wait for them to remake it was beyond anything we handle. They were accommodating by removing from the bill, but that didnt really fix the hunger. We tried to eat it but the cold, but not appetizing. Parking is also very difficult in this area, we found it better off to pay the $30.00 valet fee. P.S you have to pay the fee up front and they were pretty demanding of wanting a tip before even parking your car. Skip dessert. Nothing to write home about

My friend ordered the lamb chops was under seasoned and my other friends lobster tail undercooked. The entertainment was engaging and lasted about 20 mins..everyone enjoyed the show. Service & the ambiance was good, I went with my boyfriend for my birthday a little on the pricier side tip is included with the bill & also $15 taxing. The food on the other hand was good we had the steak & the steak was bomb the only thing that made me not give a 5 star was that there was a very limited food section id say only 6 options, if that's you're cup of tea I recommend going! The entertainment was also really nice to watch as well. read more

Ambiance-Offer both indoor and outdoor seating.Great view and perfect for pictures.Decent hangout spot. Service:Our server for the night was amazing,attentive and accommodating. Food Karaage- Juicy and flavorful and perfectly crispy. Tuna Tempura- not crispy as all.Flavor was good though. Yuzu Lamb chops- 3 basic but perfectly cooked chops.i did not taste any yuzu or miso as described.The soy sauce probably overpowered the flavors. The edamame mash potatoes served on the side were amazing,creamy with an umami flavor. Saki Miso Bronzino- Well cooked and mild miso flavor. Fried rice-Good flavor and was able to get it with a side of chicken. Chipotle Teriyaki chicken- Well cooked and flavorful. Did not get the chipotle flavors. Drinks Sakura-Perfect balance of fruity and floral,refreshing for the summer. Lit-chee sangria- Good but barely any lychee flavor.No seasonal fruit was served with it, as mentioned on the menu. The food was amazing we had waygu sliders for appetizers , entree lobster ravioli and tiramisu. The service was excellent Felicity was very nice and attentive. The ambiance was beautiful. They had live show and outside is a beautiful view. read more

I am actually surprised that it close8at 12 AM for NY that is kind of early! Our group got there late, we stayed till closing time. We didn't eat, my reviews is for the drinks, ambiance, and rooftop views. Rooftop view gets 4 stars because there is another place that I consider the best. 4 is still great for a night out and fresh air with that excellent romantic ambiance. The inside decor is gorgeous and classy. There is a notice in the lobby about the dress code, is not for the casual look, call ahead and find you before you showed up to prevent access due to the dressing code. New Year our group was out for the whole night so after 12 am, we had to go ti another spot. I wish we could had stayed here all night. Drinks were excellent in presentation and taste. Absolutely great for every kind of meeting, business, friend, family, or romance. read more
This place is really nice, we came here for dinner and our server was outstanding and accommodating if the picky eaters in our group. The tables can be a little bit uncomfortable bc it's couches so if someone is going to the bathroom everyone has to get up to let them out but the food was delicious and the ambiance was nice. They played some good music while we were eating and then when we were finishing some girls came out to dance and do a show which was really captivating. Everything we ate was also good: we had the chicken one with sauce and one with sauce on the side, with white rice and asparagus, the steak, the crispy lobster rice, the steak tacos, all was delicious! Highly recommend them, I can't wait to come back in the summer so we can sit outside! read more
Views are beautiful but this place is not worth the cost. Came here for a birthday brunch and they charged for everything. There is no parking in the area because it's located in a warehouse like area of LIC. Parking was $25. Food is mid and overpriced. We also had to pay $25 per person for entry into the restaurant on top of the food. The best thing about the place was the dj. I would not go back to this place. read more

I went her for a friend's birthday during Scorpio Season so this is why there's Halloween decorations. The ambiance and decor was beautiful! The hospitality was amazing as well. This restaurant is on a rooftop so the elevated views are great. I did see that there was a garden area but it was too cold to go out there. The food was okay. I asked for a medium churrasco and it was a little overcooked but it was okay. It had great flavor. The other guests in my party lamb chomps and was also a little overdone. The flavor was amazing regardless. I'll definitely be back if I want a night with great views and vibes read more

I was treated to this rooftop lounge with reservations made ahead of time. We arrived early and waited until our designated time, I guess because of the time slot that was chosen and the restrictions on the dining time period. The rooftop had a flow of people coming and leaving. When the seated us in the middle we had a preferred seating position which allowed for a exceptional view and we did not experience any problems with service. The scenery was nice as I was able to glance out of the window from time to time as well as see the staff entering and exiting the room. As far as the limited menu, it was one thing or the other but nothing spectacular. I chose the steak and egg due to familiarity with that particular dish. The highlight of the day was the performances that were orchestrated and underappreciated. It was a belly dancer and gymnastics using a big ring. I felt bad for the performers as no one applauded their efforts to perform for patrons throughout the day. I would say that this place is suitable for special occasions and would be recommending for group settings. read more
Just wow. It reminded me of being in Tulin Mexico. Elegant. Great music. Stunning. We ordered. The best drinks. Seriously amazing. The pink lady, Mike high, sunshower and the lychee martinis all suggested by our amazing waitress Amaris who completely made our night be perfect. The bartenders were clutch too. We ordered the shrimp tempura tacos. Well seasoned and tasty. I do recommend. The Burris tacos were good too. I got the fried rice with a sunny side egg and shrimp and scallOps. I enjoyed it and would order again. The chits do steak was beautiful and delicious as was the tostones. Highly recommend. The dessert was ok. Would order the tiramisu again as it's housemade. My wife and daughter took me here for my birthday weekend celebration. Rain did not stop us!!!! The security was a bit rude as we wer trying to understand Parking but it was a Sunday so the lot was free. From getting off the elevator to the end of ourbmeal everyone were nice and pleasant. The hostess was thee best!! Her personality was what we needed as we are grieving the loss of our daughter while still trying to celebrate my day . Our waitress Stephanie was also great and understood what we needed drink wise and she made them..well!!!! The food was good!!!. OMG...THE PLACE was esthetically beautiful. The vibe was low as not much people were there, as it was early and raining, but it was still really nice. We already planned to come in the summer to enjoy the roof top. We will be back!!! read more

Came here for my birthday and had a great time. The ambiance and service were amazing. My guy loved the shrimp tacos and his sushi roll. I got the steak and ordered it medium. It came rare and oddly rubbery. It was inedible. I had to send it back. I got the cold lobster crispy rice things instead and had the pair for dessert. It was great. I'll Definitely be back read more

Great Ambiance, Okay Food Went to Lighthouse Rooftop for a birthday dinner, and the ambiance was amazing--definitely a great vibe. Food: * I had the Arroz Chino--nothing special. * My friend got the salmon--also just okay. Service: * Service was good and fairly quick, no complaints there. Overall, I'd go again for the atmosphere, but the food wasn't anything to rave about. read more

Wow didn't expect this place to be as beautiful as it was . They have inside dining and an outside rooftop with views of the city. The Views, bathroom aesthetics, drinks& food was A1. I'm from the Bronx and I travelled here for a birthday brunch. The staff was very attentive to our needs. I ordered the froze dusse drink I don't remember the name but it was soo. For my entire I ordered French toast, the French toast was very good but it had tooooo much sugar on it . I had a size of bacon with it to try to balance it out but the sugar crystal pieces was still a bit overwhelming. Steak and eggs was good along with the chicken and waffles. A cute spot for ambiance but service could've been better. The drinks here are really good. I arrived on a Saturday night to get a good view of the performances only to be seated on the top balcony where it was dark and felt detached from the rest of the restaurant. They get pretty busy on the weekends with a lot of large parties and celebrations. The food was good but had some pitfalls. Our lobster wasn't cooked well and they didn't bring any melted butter with the meal. It was sent back for an exchange. They have people going around taking pics as well. The view is stunning. Tried few of their food. Birria Dumplings, Chicken Yakitori, Guacamole and Plantain. All tasted good. Dumplings stand out for me. Tried their pink lady--sweet and refreshing! Over all great experience. Met new friends. Such a cool way to meet new people. read more

2.5 Rating Here I go being influenced by social media again. I went here for a friend's birthday dinner. And while the atmosphere may be IG worthy I am not sure it is more than that. Between the flower wall, extremely highly ceilings, floor to to ceiling windows, and a out door space with breathtaking city views this is the only reason to come. The waitstaff was friendly, standard nothing above and beyond. The food however was somewhat where I was disappointed. Very much picture worthy but very standard. My steak and potatoes were the same quality of what I get at a local diner. They also provided some sort of entertainment. A flame throwing belly dancer. Not bad at . The cocktails were not to bad. To be mixed they were strong which may not be bad for some people but takes away from it being a curated cocktail. This place is great for the views, IG pics, and maybe even a first date if you want to impress someone. In all fairness maybe the chief was not having a good day. However improving the food would really bum this place up a few stars. read more
