Came to a concert at Forest Hills Stadium for the first time last weekend and got into Queens early so we had time to kill! Of course I searched Yelp and found quite a few good options! We ended up walking through town to see how close the options were and landed at Lowkey Garden Lounge. Only 3.5 stars but I was intrigued by the flower decor outside. It could go either way - be overhyped and cheesy or a great experience. This was a great experience! The set up is a little weird when you walk in because there are tables right next to the door and no hostess. We walked through closer to the back until we found the bar and the hostess was there. She was super nice and offered us water while she got us a server. They use QR Code menus which I don't love but it worked fine. We ordered the Lychee Martini and Watermelon Martini - both were excellent! The lychee martini is a drink made for posting - it's poured over cotton candy. We also shared the burger sliders which were delish! They had a tasty sriracha aioli sauce. Overall we had a good experience here. The service was fast and friendly. The food / drinks were excellent. We didn't make it all the way to the back to the where it said there was more garden seating but planning to the next time I'm in Forest Hills!
Made a reservation for brunch - walked in - place is aesthetically pleasing to the eye - not too big and very picturesque. They have a limited bar - brunch specials were $45 for 90 min- drinks came in a carafe- and we had margaritas (flavors available upon request) screwdrivers, white and red sangria and mimosas - decent choices - menu was not exciting - food was terrible. Disappointing to say the least left hungry. i ordered the chicken tenders it came with fries and they did not look appetizing when brought to the table. Almost frozen and popped in the oven type shit. chicken and waffles came with a greasy fried breaded chicken breast that was bland and waffles were mushy and soft and the texture was just off. YUCK Sliders were okay - truffle fries aren't my cup of tea but my friends seem to like them. Steak and eggs about the only dish they got right - steak was cooked medium well seasoned good BUT the cheese just sprinkled on the eggs and brought to the table just tasteless and hard to look at. Service just awful. Music bumping though - the vibe is cute - food sucks. I won't be back and won't recommend - there are many other places to visit with same vibes- it's NY for crying out loud. Lowkey has all the aesthetic bits you look for, the photo worthy walls, pleasant & gorgeous wait staff, & fun cups for delicious drinks! The music selection was absolutely fire! It was the perfect throwback mix. I will say in terms of brunch it was a limited menu, nothing particularly stood out to me but since I prioritize protein, the skirt steak with eggs and roasted potatoes was a no-brainer for me basically. It came topped with a chimichurri. The entire dish was seasoned well. As well as cooked & served at perfect temperatures. I got a Hakuna Matata cocktail, which was a nice fruity drink served in a tiki, with a light inside, & gummy worms to top. It's so clever and cute, absolutely would order again on my next visit. Hookah service was swift and it pulled nice and smooth. I am not sure if brunch is their niche though, but it is such a vibe in there and the food was good, I can't wait to go on a night visit, feels like it would be jumping in there! Pricing was fair & gratuity was included in the bill at 18%. Overall, I do recommend a visit!
My girlfriend and I were invited to a birthday brunch for her sister who's boyfriend made reservations! When we arrived, it was a little difficult to find the place which was located on the second floor of the building hidden behind the elevator! Once we entered, the establishment had a nice decor with a phone booth next to the bar to take pictures! We sat down and ordered the bottomless brunch that came with drinks and an option of entree under their brunch menu! We started off with appetizers of nachos with guacamole, mozzarella sticks, and fries! The guacamole was ok! It was missing some salt, pepper, and lime! Mozzarella sticks were pretty good! The fries were crispy and fresh! Needed salt or another seasoning though! For entree, I ordered the avocado omelette and my girlfriend ordered the French toast! The omelette was missing a lot of flavor even though it had avocado, cheese, and peppers! It was totally bland! It came with potatoes and toast on the side! The potatoes were also bland! My girlfriend mentioned the French toast being ok at best! I wasn't able to get everyone else that was part of the celebration their feedback on their meals! The drinks were good and on the strong side! The hostess made the best of our experience there even though the food could've been better! Not sure if I would return!
All of us came here for Happy Hour to celebrate a birthday. We came on a Tuesday (St. Patrick's Day). There were 6 of us altogether. There was no wait and we immediately got a table. The table we sat at was near a hole in the wall so had a draft. Our server was the only one really so it took awhile for her to come and take our orders. We ordered a round of drinks off the Happy Hour menu. I got a frozen mango margarita which wasn't enjoyable because it was too strong. The bartender took it back to make it a mango margarita on the rocks since it wasn't premade. It was better but still not good. Everyone who ordered the Love Affair drink really enjoyed theirs. We got two hookahs for the table (Love 66 and Peach Mint). Both flavors were good. For appetizers, we ordered quesadillas, wings, and tacos. The sour cream was watery. It didn't look safe to eat. The wings were mutated. Like the drums were huge and fatty. The tacos were good. I didn't really like the drinks or food and the hookah got harsh too quick. I wouldn't come back.
Chicken tacos, Afrobeats and Margaritas..!! Low Key Lounge is in the cut and definitely Low key, but still LIT! When I tell you, the music is on point, had me dancing in my seat most of the night, please believe!! Lol I adored the cute garden style decor and the color schemes! Very pretty interior. We came late afternoon during brunch (which we were not in mood for) and was unaware prior to arriving that there would only be a brunch menu available and not a lunch or dinner menu for at least an hour or so..we pretty much had to wait an hour before ordering dinner.. but that hour flew by cause our margaritas were popping, and BUZZWORTHY! The drinks were perfect! The Margaritas had a well-balanced flavor profile with a noticeable tequila presence, but not overpowering. Kudos to the bartender! The food was good also, the apps and the entrees! Our server / waitress Stephanie was friendly, informative and funny! All in all we had a good time! There was only one minor issue with LGL..there was an 18% gratuity included in our bill, which we were not expecting as it was just a two person party and we didn't really order much. That is something you would expect from a restaurant, not a lounge. But cool spot overall and I definitely wouldn't mind revisiting sometime in the future!
Came here with my friend to have drinks and chat. We arrived around 7pm on a Wednesday. It was pretty empty so we sat immediately. The ambiance in this lounge is gorgeous. The floral decor and cute light up signed take selfies to another level. They also have a cute "booty call" phone booth. The food itself was o.k. I had some buffalo wings and Parmesan truffle fries. The wings remind me of "hot wings" from the chicken spot just with some buffalo sauce on them. The fried were alright. Regular cut bag fries..not the homemade kind. The drinks were good. I got a white sangria and my friend got a frozen Margarita. They came with a light inside which was really cute. This place had hookah which is always a plus in my book. They also let you add it to your bill, not like other places where they only take cash. Overall, I would come back.

I had such an amazing time at LowKey Garden Lounge. It really is lowkey I passed it so many times & didn't know it was there. We got there for happy hour After work which is from 5-7p, the happy hour promo is 50% off their full food menu & 50% off their cocktail menu. We had the shrimp w lobster which was so good, the sauce was a bit salty but it was really tasty. The shrimp & lobster was fresh and tasty as well. It also came with mash potatoes. My friend had the lollipop lamp chops & was told it was good and they scraped off the yogurt (they are picky and don't like yogurt, so it doesn't mean it didn't taste good). We had the Hennessy wings that were really good but we got all drums which I usually ask for flats only & didn't. However, I didn't think I would just get drums. The drinks were also good we had the Tokyo Drift, the Drunken Genie & Hakuna Matata but instead of rum I changed it to tequila & it was soooo good. The waitress gave us shots on the house cuz of the wait in the beginning which was nice. And Yelp had a check in deal for a free shot so we got another round of shots. It was called the Green Tea shot & it was absolutely delicious. The decor of the restaurant is super cute & has many photo opps. It has a pink Photo Booth, a swing, a modern jukebox & more. Love the look of the restaurant. Overall, I really enjoyed my time & would go again to try different things. It's a nice vibe & the after work promo is dope. They also have games available to play. We chose the jumbo uno. Of course I won lol.
I had been meaning to check this place out and I'm so glad I did! The staff was super friendly and attentive - one of the bartenders even told me to get my phone to record a drink I ordered since he knew it was going to be pretty! And the cocktails I had were delicious. The food was delightful - I especially liked the sliders! I will definitely get more of those next time I'm at lowkey garden lounge. The decor was beautiful as well. This is a gorgeous place for a party/event, or a nice night out with friends or a date.
We sat in the back area which they've transformed to an indoor seating so it was a little chilly back there. I went for brunch, the margaritas are the best options. The red sangria is an absolute no. The white sangria tastes better. I had the steak and eggs and I asked for my steak to be medium but it tasted more like medium well. My friend ordered the pancakes though and they were so good would definitely recommend. Our waitress was very nice and brought things out in a timely fashion. There are places for photo ops which is nice, a phone booth and a swing and lots of grass walls and flowers.
Was able to visit those bar right after the Elite Yelp event with a fellow other yelpers. It is a good spot, very intimate. The staff was delightful and the food was really good. They handed out shrimp & grits, calamari, and mac & cheese. The music was such a vibe. Will definitely visit again when I visit Forest Hills again to just to chill.

My first time coming here it was a nice experience. Staff is nice seated right away. Love the ambiance flat screen TV, good music. It wasn't crowded I had brunch. I ordered the steak and eggs with potatoes and small salad, my beverage of choice was peach bellini. Food was great drinks I couldn't finished the carafe. I enjoyed it all. Will definitely come back maybe try there dinner. read more

What a fun spot! Came here with a friend on a Saturday night and we truly stumbled here. We were looking for a place with a fun vibe with drinks and we definitely found it. While the location is not huge, it holds a good amount of people and has everything you may need. The lightening gives a certain ambiance to it and the DJ was great. Our server was super sweet and was great in helping us pick out hookah choices. We had the mint hookah and I had a lychee Martini. If you're looking for a fun spot, I definitely recommend. read more
It is a pretty lounge with a good vibe. You can order nice drinks and good appetizers. I ordered the genie drink. It came out in a genie lamp. The waitress poured it in my glass and put the extra in a cup. It was a nice drink but it could be a bigger glass. I saw sparkles inside. Shrimp tacos were super delicious! We ordered it twice! Warning -Parking sucks. Food wasn't terrible. I'd come here for a quick bite like apps, not a meal. Drinks were great. Service was okay. Have to flag someone down if you even want some water. Never once got asked if we needed anything. Hookah was good but over priced. Hookah is cash only. Theres an ATM in the back. Music was a vibe. Bathrooms are decorated cute but were disgusting. Towards the end of the night none was even working. A manager let me into the restaurant to use that bathroom. & to top it off- got charged 2x on my card here. Make sure you check your statement. Ended up getting a refund after 2 days of calling trying to get someone who can actually help me. read more
I've been to this place many years ago before it was low key and it was completely different inside. Now the inside is so pretty and does well for photos. The smoke is thick so you know the hookah is in the building from outside. I do wish the drinks were a little more quality. The frozen drink machine didn't look like an option being that it wasn't on or running but had stuff inside not interested. I ordered a drink and they ran out right after they made mine my friend couldn't get a drink since it was done and had to change spirits. The Photo Booth in the back is cute and the seating in the back is also unique and intimate. I didn't get food however they did have food options. The bar manager was nice and although I have a few hiccups he did come and try to make things right. - Also I did get my free shot with checking in!!!!! read more

Cute lounge. Perfect for a drink date or brunch with your girfriends. Is located in Austin street in Forest Hills Queens and parking is a pain so allow yourself enough time to look for parking before your reservation. The vibe is sexy, the decor inside is dark and sexy and the garden outside is a perfect setting for photos. I went with my girls for Sunday brunch and the food was great. We had pitchers of unlimited mimosa and sangria as well a hookah. The DJ was excellent and played great music and had the whole place going. Great vibe read more
Always a good time at Low Key, glad they finally got their hookah license back. I don't understand why they charge a $20 cover on a Sunday afternoon when it's dead inside and we have a table reservation, spent $800 (party of 8). Hookah service was terrible, they use insta light which kept burning out within 10-15 minutes, no one comes to check on you, we had to keep asking the waitress to flag someone down for us. For $45 a hookah they should use better coal and have someone constantly going around like most hookah lounges do. Our waitress was great, music is good. Typical bar food menu, everything we had was good (wings, fries, arepas). If your sitting outside in the garden area on a rainy night be prepared to get wet, more like a rainforest than a garden. The side of the wall isn't fully covered so rain runs straight down. read more

Lowkey Garden was just that on a Sunday night. Upon entering, I waited a WHILE at the door before the hostess came to scan our ID's. The hostess asked if I had a reservation meanwhile the main floor was EMPTY. There was a small private party downstairs but that was it. The dinner menu is limited. I only ordered their Chicken Tacos, which was super wet. The garden decor and ambiance is cute but Lowkey is smaller than it appears on social media. I don't know that I would come back for food. Lowkey might be just another overhyped spot. read more
suchhhhhh a beautiful hidden gem! We didn't even get to see the entire lounge because the back was under construction but OMG We came here for my sis bday! To reserve I did have to pay a deposit of $100 for a party of 6 (alllll worth it and it goes towards your bill) you must be 21+ to get in, they scan your ID and take a pic of you lol Once inside, we got the best service EVER! So I was excited to try this place because my friends and I saw it all over Tik tok. I'll start by saying that we went in January which is way after this place blew up on Social media . We arrived at around 6 o'clock and ordered something light from the food menu because they didn't have many options. I ordered the GUAC & TOSTONES which were pretty good! And my friend ordered mozzarella sticks which she said were nasty.. The reason why I'm rating this lounge a 3 out of 5 is because of our rude server and the expensive prices for NOTHING ! The woman at the door when we first entered was so sweet, but the girl taking our order was rude and easily agitated. She was slim and tall with curly hair. I asked her for a virgin margarita and she looked at me like I had 7 heads and told me that it's impossible. A virgin drink is literally juice, Seltzer and ice.. but she didn't offer me an alternative for the margarita. So I said okay can you ask the bartender to make me any virgin drink? After a minute she says okay fine.. and came back with a virgin drink for me. ( the drink was delicious- virgin strawberry daiquiri ) Then hookah was ordered for the table. My friends ordered an ice tube for the hookah but for some reason, around 10 mins in, the hookah wasn't effective. They asked the server if it was possible to change the ice tip for the hookah because it was not pulling. She says " yes I'll change it, but I'm going to charge you because you've been smoking on it for a minute" ... that was rude, because no one said anything about the price, the issue was the effectiveness of the hookah. I explained this to her and she says " okay I'll call the hookah boy". The " hookah boy " came and fixed the issue and it was working better. So in total we had 6 drinks( 2 with no liquor even in it, so that should have been $6 each lol ) , one hookah with an ice tip, Mozzarella sticks, regular fries, and GUAC & TOSTONES for $264... definitely not worth it. Nice ambience but food is subpar and the drinks are watered down. Not to mention it being $$$ pricey. We went for a friend's birthday. From the jump, we had issues with getting clarification on whether or not not they allow service animals in their establishments. It was like the host on the phone was speaking a different language and didn't understand us. Anyway...overlook-able. Brunch/Food: Many plates were ordered as we were a group of 12. I ordered the chicken n waffles. It was more Instagram worthy than hunger worthy. The chicken and waffles at SWEET CHICK and SHADY LADY are a better version of this classic. The gravy wasn't thick, maple syrup was watered down, and the chicken wasn't seasoned well and a bit on the overcooked and dry side. The mimosas and sangria are watered down and horrible. Not their strong point. This sort of the brunch definitely lacks and is one the key reasons I have this restaurant such a poor rating. The reason is it is one the MAIN reason people brunch....the unlimited drinks!! Drinks: large margaritas mules jugs are $125 a pop ($25-$35 too pricey) and the beer selection was limited. Anyway, once was enough as there are plenty of brunch options around this hip area. Every deserves once chance at greatness, a second one is definitely earned. I've been coming to Low Key since Dec 2022 and I have to say, it's absolutely my favorite spot to bring friends & fam from outta town when they come to visit. Austin st has a ton of great spots and Low key lounge is no exception! It's a cute hidden gem located in an unassuming plaza - but don't let the exterior fool you. Inside there is a super cute & instagrammable vibe perfect for great photo ops and fun memories. They have tons of tasty cocktails and apps and a great happy hour from 5-8pm M-F. If you're a local and haven't stopped by, i'd urge you to check it out. They tend to have cool happy hour deals on their instagram, so be sure to take a look before dropping by if you're in the mood for something special. I personally love their calamari, wings, fries, tacos & tostones, and those are my go-to happy hour bar snacks. My fav cocktail here is the Tokyo drift, so if you're a tequila girl like me, give it a shot! They're also great for date nights! 21+ and great for ladies nights out, too. I've met tons of new friends by hanging out at the bar and getting to know the locals who stop by. :) read more

Amazing ambiance service and food , hooka was also good ... but the drink blew me away !!! Leeche martini with edible glitter wow That was a stunner and a first For me my server Angie was very friendly And extremely hospitable, kind sweet and very pretty . My Friends and I loved it there ... not to mention saed was very accommodating as well . Highly recommend this place On a week night for a literal lowkey night Bec it's not too Crowded or On a weekend but lines get long !!! Enjoy read more
Don't plan on coming here again. Granted I came at 6:30pm on Monday however the food was so bland. I got a burger. The burger was very dry. It also was supposed to come with bacon. It was bacon pieces which probably didn't even equal one strip of bacon. It comes with salad or mash potatoes. The mash potatoes had no flavor. The pitcher of margarita was $20 at 7:00pm. That was good flavor wise. The bartender was nice and they played good music. But there are too many other places on Austin street that I'd rather go to. But for a super low key vibe, you would definitely find that here. read more
