The bartenders here are super nice and sweet. The espresso martini with tequila WAS AMAZING! We stopped in around 5pm just to have a drink and it was such a good idea before getting legit dinner

5/5 Service 3/5 butterfly lemonade- very sweet, didn't taste the lemon at all, needs to be a bit sour 4/5 mozzarella sticks, pasta, salad 2/5 guac- too salty 1/5 broccoli- too bland- no seasoning Lasagna, sliders & wings looked good but I can't have. Didn't try the Mac cheese but looked decent.

Bloom Botanical Bistro is a and spacious and thematic photo friendly establishment that also serves delicious cocktails and flavorful food. The service was welcoming and attentive, too. Metropolitan Avenue has a tendency of getting overlooked, and Bloom Botanical Bistro presents a good excuse for why it shouldn't.

I went here two years ago, just one time. It's a beautiful atmosphere. The flowers on the walls smell so real. It's like stepping into a scene of Alice in Wonderland woth the flowers everywhere but classy. Love it. Parking on street. Live music. Nice for small or big parties. Food n drinks are delicious. Kind staff. Very clean even on snowy conditions. ($$) I didn't eat food. Just went for drinks and Dessert. Next time for food

Great place Very clean bathrooms , dining room, tables and all. Great service and always replenished waters , food came out in a timely matter . The food was really good and especially my red beet Wellington I like to eat meat but made exception and had it. So nicely put together , the whole menu looks good over as well. I'd definitely come Back again and anyone that's vegetarian they have great options .

Short Rib Burger. $28. Patty was a bit dry but the toppings helped a lot. Good enough

I went here a good while back. The staff as well as I believe the owner was friendly. The outside is rather unique as the flowers and stuff lead to a rather dark bar interior. It's unique and fun. In terms of appetizers, the Edamame Guacamole for $14 with tri-color chips was a bit different as there was some chunk presumably from the edamame and the Krispy Brussels side we had were fine. My preferred small plate/side were the simply prepared but tasty Grilled Artichokes which were $15. For a main dish, I had the Short Rib Burger for $28 with an 8 oz. Certified Angus blended beef patty, 3 oz. pulled short rib, caramelized onions, provolone cheese, and au jus gravy which came with some fries. The burger was a tad dry as it was a bit past the temperature I preferred but the short rib which was pretty tender along with the gravy and onions helped with the dryness. It was a decent burger. The fries were pretty crispy though under salted and the pickles and other things were standard. As mentioned several times, the food here was OK. Nothing particularly wrong with anything but nothing particularly great. It works as a local good pub but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but it makes a decent meal in a pinch. Cool design on the outside though.

Great local spot in forest hills queens, great food selection including lot of vegan options. They also have a full bar that makes great cocktails they service was very friendly and attentive and food came out quickly. It's spacious and can have large parties and also has corner spaces for more intimate gatherings.

A friend and I came here for dinner on a weekday evening and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere so much. Love the fact that the restaurant owner came by to greet us and just about everyone else in the restaurant. That's such fantastic hospitality. Thank you! Before ordering or even exploring the food and drink menus, we just took a moment to appreciate the live jazz music...such a wonderful experience. We started with Edamame Guacamole for desert, which was near perfect. Then devoured some Pesto Garganelli pasta with grilled chicken. Yum! It was freshly made with the richest Parmesan. The food was delicious! Great company! And excellent music. Look forward to visit in the future.

Had such a wonderful time at Bloom Botanical Bistro for their salsa night, with known DJ Willie. The vibe was full of energy and fun--great music, a lively crowd, and an atmosphere that made you want to dance the night away. I started the night with their shrimp and couscous from the bar menu--absolutely delicious and beautifully seasoned. Later, I snacked on chips with guacamole made from edamame--a unique twist that totally worked! My drink of the night was a refreshing Malibu with pineapple, and the bartenders were on point--friendly, fast, and talented. What really stood out was the amazing crowd: a mix of dancers from local schools and restaurant staff from nearby spots, all showing support for a neighboring business. That kind of community vibe made the night even more special. Great photo ops with all those flowers in the entrance and the floral swing was great for us content creators.

So upon walking in, the ambiance of the restaurant is clubby and social. You walk in and you're immediately hit with dark lights and glowing floral decor, followed by live music. There is a bar area as soon as you walk in, and as you continue straight, there is a large open area of seating. There is a long booth as well as high top and regular tables. The service however is poor. When we arrived, we sat at the bar due to a lack of seating and an unknown waiting time. The bartender was very nice and greeted us, and took our appetizer and drink order quite quickly. The mocktail list was quite limited. The drinks listed were not substitutes of the regular cocktails, but were instead simply listed as "grape fruit." Appetizers: The chicken lollipops were flavorless and bitter. The bruschetta and french fries were great. Dinner order: We ordered our dinner, and waited an hour and 45 minutes for it! We did not have anyone come up to us and tell us our food was on the way. The bartender, who was our waiter, disappeared for 20 minutes. He then returned and apologized for the wait and said due to a few large parties, they couldn't bring us our order on time. The 'large parties' he was referring to were 2 tables of 10 people. Once we received our order, my friend got the correct dish, which was the ribs, and it was delicious. The meat was very tender and easy to pull. I however, received the wrong order. The waiters quickly realized and presented me with my correct plate. I ordered the filet mingon medium well. It was cooked medium well, but not very good. It tasted bitter and had a bad flavor in general. The baby potatoes on the side however were delicious! I noticed they only had 1 waitress on the floor. The other staff seemed to be more concerned with singing "happy birthday" to people than prioritizing the rest of the restaurant. Overall, the vibe of the restaurant was great, but the service and food were subpar.

Amalfi Spritzer

I came here for my friend's birthday celebration this past weekend, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. First of all, the restaurant is adorable, and great for folks who like Instagram, since there are a few photo ops throughout. I sat down with our group and we ordered sweet potato fries and the kung pao calamari to start. I'm not usually a fan of sweet potatoes or calamari, but to my surprise, I liked both. The sweet potato fries weren't too sweet, and the calamari wasn't chewy at all, which is a problem I've come across at some other places. I also ordered the Amalfi Spritz, a non-alcoholic take on the classic aperol spritz. It was delicious and had a similar flavor to an aperol spritz, but it didn't even need the alcohol added. For my main, I got the bibimbap with vegetable takoyaki balls. It was my first time trying takoyaki, yet alone seeing a vegetarian version. The bibimbap had a presentation I hadn't seen before, but every ingredient on the plate was perfect. The takoyaki was crispy on the outside, yet chewy on the inside, and had a slightly pink color from I'm assuming beets. One of the other people in our group ordered the tofu sandwich for herself, as well as the rigatoni with marinara for the table. I tried a few pieces of the rigatoni, and it was so warm and comforting- not only that, it was the quality you'd get from a high-end Italian restaurant. The flavors of literally everything I got were heavenly. Overall, my experience was amazing. Everyone made us feel extremely welcome, like we were being invited in to someone's home. I'm also impressed by the amount of vegetarian dishes there were on the menu. I absolutely will be coming back to try more dishes! Run here!

Espresso martini

My boyfriend and I stopped here for cocktails and had a great time. I got an espresso martini and some coconut/pineapple drink and both were delicious. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable and the place had a very cute aesthetic! Would recommend!

Had THE BEST dining experience here. Located right on Metropolitan where parking can sometimes get a bit tricky (I always luck out on Metropolitan though). This spot is not only beautiful, the food is as delicious as the place is stunning. Literally a perfect experience was had as a friend and I who hadn't seen each other in a long time got to catch up. The staff saw that it was one of those dinners were we weren't in a rush and the respected that by checking in very intermittently. They were wonderful. The specials they featured looked so good that we got two of them. The charcuterie board, which was as beautiful as the restaurant itself was such a nice size and a perfect starter for the pasta in the cheese wheel. This was unique because the pasta was in a red sauce. The kicker, it tasted better the next day as a leftover. Super excited to come back a try their eclectic menu and what else they feature in their specials.

Is brunch everyday?

Weekends only

Are babies/kids welcome during the day?

Baby's and kids are always welcome the only time I don't recommend is when we do a comedy night.

Can you smoke weed inside?

I don't believe it's legal to smoke weed or cigarettes in any place in NYS.

What time does the Latin Music Mix Party begin and how do I RSVP?

Around 9pm/9:30. I would make a reservation by calling or on open table

Is there a cover for the Latin music mix party on Saturday, April 13?

No we do not have a cover charge

Looking for a place for a business dinner on a Wed 7pm. Any idea how loud it will be here mid week at 7pm? Worried after seeing some of the comments about loud music.

During the week. We only have background music on. Not loud at all.

I didn't get my food for 45 mins and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Wish the business all the luck in the world, but with service like that I'll take my business elsewhere.

I've been wanting to check this place out ever since I heard about the rebranding from Metro Taco…read more I had only been here once before and remembered really enjoying the food, so my fiancé and I decided to finally go for a Friday night date night and very happy we did. We tried to make reservations for 6:30pm, but it gave us an error message that the time had been taken already, so I was assuming that the restaurant would be packed, but it was the opposite when we walked in. There were only two other people there. So I would definitely look into their reservations system. For drinks, I went for the mango margarita. 10/10 recommend the drinks. My margarita was delicious. their cocktail menu looks super fun, they have drinks that come out in little bathtubs and cute presentations. For food, we shared the ahi tuna tostada appetizer which was so good! super fresh and flavorful. For our mains, I got the chicken al pastor tacos (loved the flavors, especially the avocado crema) and he ordered the carne asada tacos, which were also packed with flavor. Portion-wise, for the price, you get three tacos, so it felt very reasonable. The tacos were definitely a hit for both of us. The only small downside was the service towards the end. everything started out great, but once we were done, it took a while to actually get the check and pay. Kinda funny how it took longer to leave than it did to get served. Not a huge deal, but just something to keep in mind if you're on a schedule..they definitely don't rush you out. Overall great vibes, great food, great drinks. I would absolutely come back!
