Estillo DF Tacos && Quesadilla De Championes/Mushrooms

I've found this place by mistake back in February 2025. I've been here probably close to a dozen times now. The place is pretty phenomenal to me. I never had anything bad from here. There are plenty of options on the menu. Also, not sure why but something always makes me feel good when I see a small business family oriented, it's obvious they are all family, with the kids always being around which is nice to see. I wouldn't say it's crazy expensive like most other places out of the area (bushwick & Williamsburg) but it also isn't the cheapest. But it is worth the money I promise. Personally my only gripe with the place would be, I wish they put the salsas in a bottle on the table to use. The little cups just aren't enough for me. I understand, that after Covid things changed but, if there was salsa in bottles this place would be unstoppable. 10/10 food, 10/10 service. They deserve the business. I promise you'll be satisfied.

Awesome spot! Complimentary chips and salsa and the salsas are actually spicy! The salsa verse is my favorite. We ordered the panbazo, filled with chorizo and potato, and al pastor tacos to eat. Each were fantastic. Also ordered a yummy tamarindo agua fresca. Great service. Will be back to try their chocolate flan!

Came in for a late Thursday night meal, something simple and light, and Las Chilangas' food surpassed my expectation. I like the food here!!! Chips and salsa were complimentary. Tortilla chips are the same as the one that they use in the birria tacos, so they're on a thicker side. Crunchy, but slightly too hard. However, they work perfectly in the birria tacos that I had. Once you pick up the taco, beef doesn't fall out thanks to the mozz cheese. And the birria dipping sauce is just perfect with depth of flavors, savory and salty. Although I love to sip on soups, this is on a saltier side, best as dipping soup. I love that the tortillas are slightly chewy, crunchy even after dipping, and they hold the shape once fried. Great combination of flavors and texture. Birria Burrito was good, and I had a few bites. The rice inside has good flavor, and that's another great must-order if you want something more filling. I cannot wait to come back and try other regular tacos, definitely interested in their Taco Tuesdays! birria tacos are some of the best I've had in NYC. Great price. Great service. Casual and humbling place that I see myself coming by so often from now on! I wish they make thinner tortilla chips though!

Best Mexican food in Ridgewood. Maybe even in Queens? Vibe is warm and comfortable. The people there are always kind and accommodating. Excellent service.

Came in for dinner, i ordered steak nachos, and horchata and my boyfriend ordered Birria queso tacos and horchata. We loved our meal, it came out pretty fast and everything was so tasty and fresh. Will i come back ? Of course this is going to be my new go to Mexican spot in Ridgewood. Worth the money? Yes the total was only $35

This place is the bomb. Super friendly service, amazing food. Chips and salsa both homemade delicious and devilishly spicy . The quesadillas texture was Michelin star worthy and the molé was v complex!! Will def be back.

This is by far the best mexican food I've had! I had the huaraches and my daughter had the tlacoyo, The service is wonderful :) I recommend it 100%. Both dishes felt fresh and had a strong homemade feeling.

Simply amazing! Good rervice, quick delivery, good price for what you get . Really testing.

Even though I don't usually like salmon, theirs is prepared so well that I actually enjoy it. Some of my personal favorites are the birria tacos, tortilla soup, and the wet burrito. The drinks are just as impressive, with a secret sangria recipe that's always a hit. My go to is the frozen watermelon margarita, refreshing and delicious every time. We tried a bunch of stuff and the star was definitely the soft scrambled egg tostada, the masa pancakes and coffee tres leches cake. These are a must try! Good to try was also the fried oaxacan cheese but at $14 for 3 pieces, it's not worth a repeat order for me. These were skippable to be honest: mega thick bacon (just ok) home fries (meh) The chilaquiles (pork chorizo, salsa ranchera, crema, queso fresco, sunny up eggs) lacked flavor for a dish with so much going on. Service was pretty quick.

Came specifically for their famous masa pancakes and YES, you must get them. Crispy exterior, fluffy and soft inside. Soaks up the delicious syrup perfectly and the slab of cold cinnamon butter on top is the most delicious touch (if you're like me and love butter). I'm also a huge chilaquiles fan (California natives, stand up) so had to try that as well - very, very good. Chips were the perfect balance of crispy and soft, pork chorizo was balanced in flavor. We also got a side of their mega thick cut bacon, home fries, and eggs. All wonderfully executed - easy things to add on that don't take away from the main events. I guess the one thing I wasn't a huge fan of was their drip coffee (no other options outside of cold brew) but if that's the only downer from this meal, I can absolutely live with it. Service was lovely even sitting at the bar and the hosts were really kind as we were a walk-in. Definitely a place to try if you like a unique pancake and Mex-American flavors!

Around 6:30pm, it was easy for the four of us to snag a table in the back, near the back patio, but there is some seating in the front part of the restaurant as well. I ordered one of their mezcal cocktails with a Tajín rim (El Amante) which was yummy then we started with an order of chips and salsa, chips and guacamole and esquites. The esquites was fantastic, but we wished the guac was larger and came with more chips. For my entree, I ordered a tripa taco and a cecina taco. I cannot decide between a favorite because they were both so good. The tripa was crispy and tender in all the right places. I was worried about the cecina taco being too salty but that wasn't the case, it was perfection. We all appreciated how they served each taco with double corn tortillas, so they held up well. And of course, we couldn't leave without trying the churros. They were just the right size 2 people to share in my opinion but we were all pretty satisfied by then so we were ok splitting 4 ways. Our waiter was really funny and checked up on us regularly. The music here was also great (a lot of Bad Bunny), and the decor was on point. Good food and a great atmosphere!

We were only one of three parties there so our food came out fast and hot. I enjoyed the chicken taco most, the seasoning was just right and there was a slight smoky char on the meat that beat out the flavor of the shrimp taco. Pozole was spicy and hot, so satisfying on a cold day. They run happy hour and Taco Tuesday specials, so there are even better deals in store at this spot, a true neighborhood taqueria.
