Great deal! The amount of good quality sushi you get for the $ here makes it worth it in and of itself. On top of the great deal the sushi is great as well! Will definitely be back ASAP!

We usually go to the village location. Uptown is great too. Relaxed atmosphere and just as good food.

How do I love thee? Let me count the dishes. Listed below are four of my favorite lunch specials. Priced from $11.75 to $13.75 (duck), ALL include soup, salad AND a choice of shrimp shumai (2pcs) OR veggie spring roll (2pcs) OR veggie dumplings (2pcs): * Amber Baby Back Ribs. Thoroughly marinated and braised with peach white wine sauce. *Sangria Crispy Duck. Fruity red wine sauce with bok choy, mango, lily root and pineapple. * Crispy Flounder with Homemade Pineapple Sauce * Crispy Tangerine Chicken. Wok glazed chicken in a sweet tangerine sauce. Dining in? The service is impeccable!

3 sushi special plus salad and 1 alcohol beverage, cannt beat that price...$20.

Amber is really close to where I live so it's been on my list of places to try for a bit now! You can definitely tell this is a local favorite spot, since I see lots of takeout orders coming from here every time I walk past it, and when I went for the first time the other day-there were lots of people dining in for lunch! They have great deals at lunch, with lots of different specials for everyone! I got to sushi rolls, with miso soup and a salad for only $13! I got the crunchy spicy tuna roll and shrimp tempura roll and thought both were delicious and fresh testing! Will definitely be coming back here soon to try some more lunch specials!

I'm a fan of Amber's lunch special. For $13 you get two sushi rolls of your choice plus soup and salad. Many other places in the neighborhood only give you soup or salad for that price. Their dressing on the salad is very good and the quality of the fish is very fresh. Today I got shrimp tempura and salmon avocado rolls. I also like their teriyaki bento box lunch special.

We had the lunch specials. The food was tasty. They served good portions. And the price was reasonable for a NYC meal. I would go again.

I requested extra peanuts and they did it! I love the texture of extra crushed peanuts and they did not skimp on it! Great attention! Banana sticky rice - one of my favorite desserts... I always find that lots of places don't give enough coconut cream sauce... and my request for extra coconut cream on the side was also honored. I'm a very happy camper. Good portions and perfect to share but I kept both to myself lol In Conclusion: the service and attention to detail... even for a to-go/delivery order was really awesome. This tells me that a dine in experience will be even better. The quality and taste of the food was also very good. There's so many Thai spots and some can be hit or miss, especially as a first time experience... but 10/10 I would recommend this spot.

Also, one of our members who I trust when it comes to food recommendations raves about this restaurant. We ordered a few dishes. Vegetable tofu noodle soup ($15)- The broth was light, the vegetables were plentiful and there were a good number of noodles too. I loved that with the vegetable tofu noodle soup, you can add any protein for free. I added shrimp and they were super generous. There must have been six shrimp in my soup! Chicken satay ($12)- I have to say, this was the one thing we ordered that I felt missed the mark. The chicken was tough and definitely not tender. The accompanying sauces were very good. Pad see eiw ($18)- This was very delicious! I love the flat noodles and there was a nice amount of sauce. There was a generous amount of chicken too. I'd return to Thai At Lex, especially for the soup and pad see eiw. I'd recommend you check it out too!

The service was pleasant, friendly, efficient and helpful from the minute we walked in without a reservation. The ambiance and decor was gorgeous and took me out of NYC for a moment. The phenomenal taste of the first sip of the Thai Iced Tea that paired so well with the rest of my meal is the reason behind the first picture I took. For the apps we ordered my favorite- Chicken Curry Puffs and Chicken Satay. The Chicken Curry Puffs were soft and perfectly mashy on the inside and had a perfect crisp to the layered outside. The Chicken Satay was so different here and yet so savory served with this soft garlic bread. The sauces were so fresh, vibrant and distinct and added to both the appetizers. The peanut sauce had crushed peanuts and was such an accompaniment to texture. For the mains, we had the Chicken Pad Thai and the Braised Beef Short Rib in Penang Curry. The Pad Thai was a great standard and tasty with the crisp sprouts and zesty lime. This Braised Beef Short Rib is where it is at! One of their house specialties- the decadent flavors and textures of this dish is something that will be memorable and just the right touch of spice. Lovely bright orange sweet potatoes and beautiful green beans went so well together with the beef and curry. Looking forward to trying more of their menu and not defaulting to my usual. Warmed up Chicken Pad Thai on the pan over the stove today in a little bit of butter, this was as delicious as it was going to get today. The wait was around 30 minutes for 4 on at 1:30p on a Sunday. By the time our meal ended, there were several empty tables. Service (4/5): Timing of the dishes was not in sync with the table (not that that bad, just noticeable). Ordering wasn't as smooth as we hoped but all in all corrected (order was wrong but was corrected when we were asked to re-confirm the order). By the time we sat, the food was out within 20 min and then the pancakes came out another 20 min after the first dish. Food (5/5): The food was outstanding! Seriously like everything from the pancakes, ramen, to the lemonade. Lunch special of Tan Tan ramen (special May 2026) and Pork Cha-Shu Bowl. Tan Tan was spectacular and was def better than the bowl. The broth had so much flavor with richness, spice, spicy level, half seasoned egg. The noodles were also a lovely bouncy chew. The pork was pretty standard with about 5 thin slices spread over a soy sauce based sauce. Omurice was very silky. The egg was nice and runny. I liked that the sauce wasn't too ketchup-flavor forward. I enjoyed the rice which had bits of meat which gave it more flavor too. Crème Anglaise Souffle Pancake - my only wish was that there was more of it because it was so good. The cream that was on top was not too heavy and the zest flavors blended surprisingly well. It comes with a little side of fresh fruit. The cake was not overly egg-y in flavor either. Lavender Lemonade - Not too tart and not too sweet. I liked the forward lavender taste.

The French fries came out first and were basically McDonald's fries with a little Parmesan sprinkled on it. Everything looked pretty and instagrammable but at most tasted just okay. I wasn't in love with the Omurice sauce which tasted more tomato-based than I prefer. The soufflé was nice and fluffy but the pancake itself didn't really have flavor. The matcha French toast took the cake for me. It was soft and crunchy on the crust. My group ordered drink as well and the total ended up being $120+ with tip. Way more expensive than I was expecting, but I was happy to treat my friends to a nice birthday brunch. Come for the photos and aesthetic, but don't expect much when it comes to the food.
