This place is super cute decor which I love because dinner included ambiance in addition to good food. Started with coconut shrimp and stuffed sweet plantain with Chicharron. Both appetizers were 10/10. Soft sweet plantain with crunch pork - you get both works sweet and salty. For dinner we got the fried rice that comes with shrimp, beef, chicken etc. 10/10 very tasty.. Now to the drinky drink. I got regular mojitos which is my fav drink. It was so good, not too sweet but just right. The hubs got Long Island iced tea, also very good. The service was 10/10 very attentive and we ended the night with a free shot.. Parking can be a bit tricky, but give yourself time and get there early. read more

I had an amazing time at Mojitos. The service was excellent the food was good the drinks were good. The restaurant is nice and it's already decorated for Xmas. I would recommend reservations as it gets packed and it's not a huge restaurant. The presentation for their birthdays is too cute. First they put a balloon or 2 on the table for the birthday person. Then they bring out the dessert in this beautiful flower swing. They brought us a shot tree too cute. They also have a magician that comes to the table his name was Eddie he was really nice, funny & kept us entertained. Our waiter's name was Jorge & he was very nice and accommodating. The standout was the Lychee and Dragonfruit mojito - instead of giving mojito, it was giving refreshing drink on a hot summer day. The ones I didn't like were the raspberry and watermelon. The ceviche was too pretty to eat BUT of course it was eaten ; canastica rellenas (mashed fried plantain w/beef); chicken empanada (the texture was a no for me) - the canastica and empanada needed a bit of salt but all in all, the appetizers were OK. Drinks to start I went with Guanabana mojito , a must say really good loved the taste such a unique flavor, Hubby had tropical margarita, mango mojito they were both decent. Appetizers we tried Croqueticas de maduro , these were not bad better with the raspberry sauce. Also tried the Tostones con Hogao , they were very good. Main dishes Pechuga hawaiana , a little different twist to the chicken, good with the rice & beans. Churrasco ala parilla was good as well, decent yuca fries & salad not bad. End of the meal no room for dessert but they do give u a free shot at the end, which was not bad. Small location, fun decor inside they also have some outside seating. I would like to start my review by saying the customer service was great ! Staff was attentive, they made sure to check on our table frequently. The wait staff is very friendly. Secondly, the decor was beautiful. The walls was decorated with grass and a colorful floral arrangement. A pleasant background. We went on a Sunday it was empty. Lastly the food : They have brunch till 4:00pm but we ordered from the regular menu. I ordered steak & shrimp fajita , my friends ordered seafood pineapple rice. I'm impressed. The food is wonderful. Great quality and freshness and cooked to one's liking. You can remove something from your meal (usually) if you're allergic, for example. I have been here twice in person and ordered once via seamless. I would advise going in person, because the quality of the meat and plantains were lacking when I ordered to my home. The ambiance is nice, but it is VERY dark. Make sure your phone has juice, in case you need a flashlight. They have a nice outdoor eating area on the street, but it is quite noisy. Inside is quieter and cooler. Looks clean and well kept. They absolutely have the very best pina coladas here!!!! The last two times I ordered, I got two. That's literally what keeps me coming back. I'm not big on alcohol but they have, hands down, the best. The waiters/servers/managers are super nice, welcoming, and accommodating whether you're here on a date, for a family meal/get together, or solo dining. I had the stuffed maduros (with shredded chicken) and the grilled beef dishes (I don't remember the names of them off the top of my head) and both were superb. The meat and plantains were too hard/mushy to eat when I ordered it home. The house salad was surprisingly good. It's not the typical salad you're likely accustomed to. I had a virgin mojito, which was very delicious. My friend s all had regular mojitos. We ordered the a lobster dish, fajitas, and tacos. I enjoyed my fajitas, but was very disappointed because I specifically asked for no beef and received it anyways. When I told the waiter, he argued with me and said I never told him; my friends all heard me tell him. I kept the dish and ate around the beef. This place is just ok! Ok fine, the mojitos are amazing, so come here for drinks! However the food is just a-ok! Food: we ordered the skirt steak which was pretty bland. The monfongos do not come with any sauce to be prepared to choke and have it with water. Like come on it dry plantains, you need a sauce with it. I'll say the salchipapas are good but how can you screw up French fries and fried hot dogs. Unfortunately, the only thing we enjoyed here were the mojitos. We sat outside; they have pods with enough heat to make it comfortable during cold evenings. The mojitos were SOOOO DELICIOUS! So I had dinner here with a friend and ordered two empanadas, a tapas dish (canastas rellenas) and chaufa mixto along with my usually sangria. The food was delicious except for the empanadas. The empanadas were okay, but I would not order them again if I came here. There are better dishes. I highly recommend the canastas rellenas, and/or the chaufa mixto I took one star off because the sangria was too sweet for me. In retrospect, I should have ordered a mojito given that this place is called mojitos restaurant and bar. All the waiters were very attentive. Came here for a late Father's Day dinner .. party of 10 .. early dinner so the resturant wasn't crowded and noisy. Mojitos isn't very well lit so we all pretty much took out our phones to use the flashlights so we could read the menus. This three stars is being generous due to it being COVID and restaurants are suffering. COVID precautions: They have small rooms with set up outside which have plexiglass dividing the them. There is 2 feet of plexiglass open at the top to allow fresh air or air from the next room over in, each of these room is equipped heaters. We watched the staff cram 6 people into one of these rooms even though the current maximum is 4. Patrons beware, this is considered indoor dining and you would probably be safer dining inside the restaurant and not inside this plexiglass enclosure. Numerous times I witnessed a thumb on my plate that was being put down on the table. Which should never be done but especially not during COVID. Food & Drink: The drinks have a weird taste to them. It must be the absolute bottom shelf liquor and a strange drink mix for the mojitos and sangria... they are not very good. The food is mediocre at best. The guacamole that we had for an appetizer tasted old and was a ridiculous amount with not enough plantain chips. The chicken empanadas were the best thing we ate all night. I ordered the canasticas rellenas but I believe I got the mofonguitos. Uncomfortable to send my food back unsure what might happen I ate my meal which was flavorless. With Latin food readily available in the neighborhood there is no reason to ever eat at this establishment. read more

I love coming to this place! Usually come right after work and it's not typically busy, which I love! The coconut margaritas are the best you'll have! Very generous with the alcohol in these where it's not overpowering and the margarita itself is enjoyable! Our server Kathy is a DOLL! The serving itself was generous as you can see. The pechuga hawaina- this is where it gets shaky. We specifically asked if the sauce can be on the side. We were told 'No' but they can lightly spread it on. As you can see, it was very very heavy, which is what we wanted to avoid. While it was great tasting, the sauce was just way too much and overpowering the chicken itself.
