The bartop is only 4 seats and the intimacy is a nice touch. It's a table-height bar rather than the typical bar height, which was a refreshing, too! One thing I found a little odd was drink garnishes and finishing touches were done on the customer side of the bar, so my drinks were being finished next to me and served from my side rather than behind the bar. Not saying it was bad just notably different. I loved the drinks I had! I got the Whispering Pines which was very refreshing. I overheard a bartender mention that this one doesn't get ordered often because people don't know what Iwai 45 is (the liquor listed on the menu). I love Japanese whiskey and encourage anyone curious to give this one a chance! I also for the Carrot in the Sky. I'm usually not the biggest carrot fan, but was very curious about it and really enjoyed the ancho and lime accompanying it. By 6pm the entire restaurant had filled in.
