Skull drink

This place is a hidden gem in the area. We showed up without reservations because we were in the area and got hungry and while the outside of the restaurant may not be super wow, the inside is super nice and cute. They told us they could accommodate us in 5 mins and we had a seat and within those 5 mins we had a table, we sat by the dj who was playing good music at a good level (so you can enjoy the music but also talk to the people at your table). Our server recommended some drinks and one came in a super cool skull which was impressive but also delicious (I can't remember the name of it) For appetizer we ordered the sweet chili wings and they were the perfect combination of crispy and sweet heat. The best! For dinner I ordered the jerk chicken with white rice and vegetables and it was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend ordered the goat with rice and peas but somehow ended up with mashed potatoes and this is where they lose a star bc the server didn't offer to change it, just said "I heard mashed potatoes bc that's what it come with" and that was that. While the mashed potatoes were good, that's not what he ordered so that was disappointing. My mom got the fried fish with white rice and that was also delicious! We ended up skipping dessert bc the portions are super large that we were full and had leftovers. All in all, the food is absolutely amazing here so I highly recommend. Just make sure your server reads your order back to you so that you know you're getting exactly what you ordered.

Went with family for a birthday dinner and I would say this is family friendly, service was nice, the food was good, and good portion sizes. We tried the jerk chicken, oxtail, 2 diff types of fish, and some appetizers. We didn't really have any complaints and my family can be a little picky so this was a win for us. Would definitely be back especially for brunch.

Cute spot for dinner. Loved how they had lit menus since it is pretty dim in the restaurant. The bar area is very cool with their decor (a coal fireplace lined parts of the bar). I went for my cousin's birthday and I would say it's on the edge of fine dining but gives causal (theres a music/dj in the background, but it wasn't too loud that we couldn't speak). The staff and our waitress were attentive and kind. I loved how they were able to accommodate my older relatives nit-picky requests with patience and ease. I found the food to be decent and flavored nicely. My sweet and sour shrimp was okay (not recommended), but my mom's fried rice with jerk chicken was delicious. The oxtail tasted great but was very fatty for me personally. The portion size was also really good. Now the drinks they are strong, so I recommend having a designated driver. They were kind enough to even play Stevie Wonder's HBD song for us when they brought out the cheesecake with sparklers. It was a lovely night at Lilli's.

This is a Caribbean-Asian more specifically Caribbean-Thai fusion spot in East Flatbush. I celebrated my birthday here and loved everything from the appetizers crab cakes to the red curry lamb chops. The vibes were great, the wings were fire, and the cocktails were even better. My favorite was the "Mid Summer" Henny cocktail. We had: Curry lambchops with mash potatoes and veggies Oxtails with rice and peas and veggies Salmon with mash potatoes and veggies Calamari Sweet Chili Wings Jerk Wings Crabcak Hennessy Lychee I love the upscale ambiance, plus they have DJs on the weekend and a separate room for larger parties. The staff were super accommodating with my reservation, too. They also have happy hour. If you're celebrating big or small, come to here.

My mom organized this amazing birthday dinner for me and all I could say is wow. Ambience was nice and chill. The music was great and the food and drinks were delicious, and I can't forget our waitress Ozzy she was knowledgeable and attentive. For our starters we ordered for the table, spring rolls and sweet chili wings. Both were finger licking good. As I was scrolling the digital menu I saw that they have a frozen Sorrel, Rum Punch, and I immediately ordered that because if you know me, I am a sucker for frozen drinks. And let me tell you that drink was on point. I then proceeded to order my main dish, which was the Mango Snapper. It was a Deep-fried Whole Snapper, Fresh mango, Red Onion, Scallion, Mint, and Cilantro, served with Steamed Jasmine Rice and the presentation was stunning. Then to end it off I finally got my birthday cake chocolate of course with the big sparkling candle, something I've only seen on tv lol I was so excited :) All in all we all enjoyed our food and I especially enjoyed my birthday with my family and we will definitely be back again thank you for your service cheers.

We celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary , and we were not at all disappointed! This relatively new establishment gives Caribbean Classy vibes . Upon walk-in, I was warmly greeted by name, and though I had a reservation, it felt nice to receive such personalized service . I arrived about 30 mins before my guests and husband. I decided to have a drink and was escorted to the bar area. Luckily for me, it was Happy Hour . I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio and French Fries . I received both in less than 10 mins! Fries were nice, crispy, and seasoned . Overall, the restaurant has a lovely aesthetic, but the bar is sexy (see pic) . Within the next 15 mins, our guests started to arrive, and we were promptly seated. Our server, Lily, was attentive and friendly. Considering it was a rainy Thursday evening , the restaurant wasn't too busy, but had a nice flow of patrons; and Lily didn't miss a beat. We ordered (some pictured): Drinks * Sparkling Water- glass bottles * Fruit Punch- freshly made, my daughter loved it * Rum Punch- not the typical Wray & his dutty Nephew; they used Meyer's rum (family fave) * Pinot Gris Starters * Oxtail & Shrimp Sushi- flavorful combo! Rice wasn't sticky, causing the roll to fall apart; and seaweed was a little rubbery, but still very enjoyable * Wings (Sweet Chili & Jerk) - gone in minutes, a favorite * Salmon Sliders- another fave! Fresh, flaky salmon, not canned. So good! Mains ( blanket statement incoming ) This place UNDERSTANDS flavor profile and fusion of two cultures. Every dish slapped, even as leftovers We tried: Sweet & Sour Duck Jerk Burger Shrimp Pasta Curry Lamb Chops Sweet & Sour Shrimp Mango Snapper Jerk Chicken I know this review long AF, but this place seriously surpassed our expectations. It was an excellent way to celebrate our milestone . And one last (but important!) detail- the price point was chef's kiss ‍. Very affordable, and we were pleasantly surprised when the bill came . Well worth the money. We can't wait to return!

Super helpful staff! I'm not even sure what menu we ordered from but everything was delicious! The snapper was perfectly cooked. The crab fried rice? DELICIOUS! The oxtail empanadas were great too.

Initially, I was skeptical about coming here due to concerns that I saw in other reviews, but I'm happy that I chose to form my own opinion and my experience ended up being great. I came on a Friday night on a date and upon entry the place looked like it should be an event hall, but it was nicely decorated, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. My date and I had reservations and were promptly seated at a table in the back with nice ambient lighting. The DJ played nice tunes throughout the night and our server was really great. Gratuity is included in the bill and she earned hers. I thought that the food would be small portions, but it was actually just right and the oxtail was great as well as the calamari which was fried perfectly. I really enjoyed the sauce that came with that. The drinks were great and I honestly have no complaints. My date ordered the fried rice with oxtail and I got peas and rice with oxtail and the fried rice was definitely better but that's just a personal preference .

LILLI Restaurant has officially become one of my new favorite Caribbean gems in Brooklyn! This place is divine--I honestly cannot rave enough about how delicious the food is. I've been here three times this September alone and every visit has been nothing short of amazing. I first discovered LILLI after celebrating the Caribbean Day parade and was craving some authentic Jamaican food. On my first two visits, I treated myself to solo dates and absolutely loved the experience. Most recently, I brought my best friend along (he's an oxtail lover) and he was blown away by how authentic and flavorful everything was. The food: Pure perfection. The only other place I've had snapper this good is back home in Jamaica! On my first visit, I had the mango snapper with rice and peas--unforgettable. The second time, I tried their incredible $25 lunch menu, which comes with an appetizer, a rum punch, and a main dish. I had a Caesar salad to start, Rasta pasta with shrimp as my main, and the rum punch was smooth and strong--exactly how it should be. My most recent trip was for Saturday brunch where I ordered the Thai curry shrimp with rice and peas and steamed veggies. That curry gravy was so good I wanted to lick the plate clean! The service: Top tier. The staff here are professional, friendly, and attentive without ever being overbearing. I especially love sitting at the bar where the bartender always crafts exquisite cocktails with a smile. The ambiance: Upscale yet warm and inviting. The floral décor is stunning, creating the perfect backdrop for pictures (yes, I definitely took plenty for my socials). (TIKTOK @FashionsLostParadise) The food here is truly a 10,000 out of 10--superb in every way. Between the incredible flavors, the welcoming vibe, and the beautiful atmosphere, LILLI has completely won me over. I'm already planning to gather my friends here for my birthday celebration. If you love authentic Caribbean cuisine, this is a must-visit in Brooklyn.

Oxtail wontons

We arrived here a little early for our 1:15 reservation and although half the restaurant was empty, the hostess asked us to wait at the bar which was a little odd. Other than that, the service was very welcoming. The bartender served heavy handed drinks including a generous pour of Hennessy in the fruit-forward Plush cocktail with pomegranate and lavender. The appetizers came out hot and ready. The oxtail meat in the oxtail wontons was cooked to perfection as was the oxtail main course that came with rice and peas. The deep fried whole snapper was also cooked well with a refreshing mango slaw. The ambiance was upscale with marble floors and white roses adorning the walls. Automatic 18% gratuity and 3% credit card surcharge were included in the bill.

Ok, I must admit. The food at this place is excellent. A wonderful surprise. Everything from the menu had me loving and wanting more.

Meh! Wish I had a better statement but Lilli was just ok. The outside decor is eye-catching, the inside is decorated with nice afrocentric decor, plush chairs and vibrant lights, a cute barbie like box for photos. Unfortunately that was the only wow factor. music is the main dining area was too loud, and the menu was limited the night we went, with many items unavailable. We tried the crab cakes (this is lump crab mix with alot of filler items). The chili wings were cool. Crispy and flavorful I think it would pair well with a dipping sauce. The mussels in a green curry sauce was interesting sweeter than expected but the flavors didn't connect. The last item was the lamb chops with mash potato's. The lamb chops could of been appetizers. They were very small for the price point, we asked for medium and recieved well done. The potatoes it was paired with was very lumpy as well. The highlight was the selection of music, the drinks and the service. I hope I just went on a not so good night.

This is my second time at Lilli restaurant but this time it was to celebrate my sister's birthday. The manager waited on our table because the restaurant was full to capacity on a Friday night. She provided excellent customer service and gave great food and drink recommendations. This is a restaurant you want to make someone feel happy for a special occasion or birthday. I will be back!

I don't remember what this was called, but it was delicious and the shrimp was so good. The pasta was so good.

I put it in my back pocket as a place I might go in the future. I was recently walking in the area when I noticed a sign saying it was open for coffee. Of course I went to check it out. At the main counter, they serve the classics (mocha, latte, chai, matcha) plus a few specials. My cookie butter matcha (with oat and flavored syrup) was less than 6 dollars. It wasn't my favorite matcha, it was a pretty good deal in comparison to other cafes in the area. They have a coffee club where you pay $40 a month for free drinks (coffee or tea based), 10% of items like cocktails, food and wine. Plus you are able to use their wifi in their space which has a funky plush aesthetic. Definitely good for people who need a place to work. It is an interesting way of using this space in the morning. Of course I was told about their happy hour and the jazz Mondays. I would come back to attend that.

Very complex flavors) and the Queen of the Desert (cool refreshing cucumber followed by a spicy heat in the back of your throat, grew on me over time). Food was also quite good. I enjoyed the truffle popcorn and I still have no idea how they made those lemongrass chicken ginger dumplings so yummy (I normally don't even like chicken dumplings bc they're usually not as juicy as pork, but these didn't have that problem). They gave us a tiny sample of one of their house-made liquors at the end-- let me tell you, I'm not the biggest fan of just having liquor on its own but dang, that went down sooooo smoothly.

Every drink we got was well balanced, flavorful and delicious, so kudos to the bartender! Our waiter and busboys were very attentive, friendly, and provided top notch service from start to finish. Dishes came out in timely manner and order, with restaurant service etiquette followed to a T. Food was good overall, fresh and well presented. Portion sizes are decent, everything priced according to location, quality and ambiance. Octopus was tender but didn't have any flavor and was outshined by delicious pesto & burrata in the salad, which was unfortunate as I was looking forward for it to be the start of the dish. Tartar could use more sauce (or salt) to tie all layers together. Bone marrow was delicious, definitely try a side of beef- it melts in the mouth and is a great addition. Duck vareniki was a bit small portion, with good filling/dough ration and the sauce was heavenly. Pizza crust was good but bland toppings made it uneventful. Steak and fish were cooked and seasoned to perfection, side salads were well seasoned and good pairings for protein. Desserts satisfied our sweet tooth after delicious dinner.
