Came in s Saturday, staff is polite, attentive and professional. It was busy and all the pool tables were taken but, didn't long for one to open up. While waiting my friend and I had a drink the passionfruit margarita could've been stronger; it's a nice place if you want to just relax and smoke hookah if you don't want to play; they also have a ping pong table. I definitely need to come back. A quick bar night with a friend was great. It's huge inside, with plenty of places to sit and mingle without feeling like someone is hovering over you. There were options to play pool, bowl and even had hookah on hand. The drinks were also made very well. I randomly found this bar and billiards spot one night, and it was easily better than a lot of the other options around. The place felt updated and well maintained, especially compared to other spots nearby that have become run-down over time. They had a live DJ playing the perfect mix of music, and the crowd was lively while still feeling laid-back. The prices were reasonable too. Food- would not reccomend. I ordered the Demi Mushroom Burger so I could get my veggies in, but it left a lot to be desired. The flavor wasn't good, even with ketchup & all the other toppings added. Service- can't really add a star here for that either. No one greeted us when we came in. We sat at the bar and initiated conversation with the bartender despite being the only party there. No friendliness or engagement, but did take and bring order. We were left to our own devices, but still assisted when needed. Now, this place gets brownie points for the ambience. Big pool room with an additional room to the side that I didn't get to see. Everything is clean, new, and blue/black decor. TVs playing sports And nice selection of music. I was looking for a local bar to catch the Celtics game and stumbled across this place amongst my search. I'm happy I did, although it was freezing inside. The music was loud so I couldn't hear the game, but that's okay. We sat at the bar. I ordered the strawberry frozen margarita. It tasted a bit watered down. We also ordered an old fashioned. Wow. She made that drink properly! She even squeeze the orange peel juice into the drink and lined the rim with it so each sip you get that orange flavor. I was impressed. The "truffle" fries (fries with grated parmesan cheese on top) were really good. I also got buffalo wings, which were just okay to me. Everything came out really hot. Complete waste of time and (a surprising amount of) money. We walked in a couple nights ago, nobody at the kiosk so we walked right to a table and sat ourselves down. Ordered 3 drinks total on the night and played pool and ping pong. I was surprised when our bill came out to $63!! For 3 drinks! None of the workers even thought to mention to us that there was a 27$ surcharge for playing the games, even when we talked to the guy at the kiosk pool balls... Then, they added another $5 gratuity. I said "oh, you guys already added the tip" and the kiosk guy says "no" and just hands me the tip bill. I've worked in a restaurant before, that's not how you're supposed to do this. I had to tip extra because I didn't know if the "gratuity" charge was going to our bartender or not. The nice bartender was the only redeeming factor. The music was laughable, copyright-free EDM that was far too loud (and someone kept messing with the volume) for a place with only 8 or so patrons, plus the speakers are right next to the tables so you can't hear yourself think while playing. Initially, I thought this place is a great idea: sports bar, hookah, one point pong table and, pool tables? What's not to love? Well, let me break it down for you. Pool tables are ok, but no one actually cleans them like they're supposed to, and the pool sticks need to be restored as well. They charge $8 per person, per hour which is very decent. They also have a white room in the back behind have double glass, frosted doors (that double as a projector screen), for Russian pyramid. Hookah is overpriced at $30 and doesn't seem to be the usual ones that they use in NYC. The handle is cold which is probably why it goes down smoothly. They didn't seem to use enough shisha or they didn't mix it up enough to get the juices in it because the smoke and flavor were pretty weak. No one checked on the coals, like they're supposed to, either. When the DJ starts, he starts increasing the volume to the point of obnoxiously loud where you just want to gtfo... Which i did. Both bathrooms need serious help. At first, you think that it doesn't smell like urine because they have multiple air fresheners per bathroom but once you sit down, all the smells float up to your nose, pretty gross. The bathrooms weren't cleaned or checked on to make sure there's toilet paper for the few hours I was there. They show UFC fights here! If you want to lounge on the couches, it's $300, but i think it's for the ones by the dj, not the ones on the floor? Ultimately, I'm not sure I'd want to go back unless I need to kill a couple of birds with one stone. I can say that, I've had much better hookah that lasted twice as long as it did here, and played on pool tables that were better taken care of... just not in the same space unfortunately. The ratio of men to women is ridiculously high depending on how late it gets - more women seem to drop in later in the night. The F train is on the same block for convenience and, street parking can be hard to find. There is a bouncer there so be sure to bring your ID! read more

If there's one thing I hate it's deceitful and dishonest business practices. Double taxation and a mandatory gratuity? Congratulations not only are you scamming your customers but you're also breaking the law. It is illegal to charge a mandatory gratuity in New York City for parties of less than 6 or maybe even 8. And what is with this double taxation ? Beverage tax on non sugary drinks ? Absurd. Surely you send those to the New York State department of taxation and finance? Yeah, I didn't think so. Your place isn't half bad. Your Dj is awesome and your food is alright...but your business ethics are abhorrent and for that reason people should stay clear of here. Food, DJ, & Drinks are good. Atmosphere is cool, some diversity. Some times it gets very crowded, just look out for event days those are the days it gets too overwhelming. Otherwise great spot to relax, play pool, listen to music, & hang with friends. Also, check your receipts when ending the night. Never happened to me, particularly because Im very alert and verbal, however some friends of mine have been charged an automatic 18% gratuity and rounded, even when they were parties of very few folks.
