Came on a Tuesday durning happy hour so the place wasn't packed. We was greeted by a nice young gentleman who wanted us to sit at the table, but we wanted to sit at the bar. I'm happy we sat at the bar for the simple fact we got to meet Chopper. No not from One Piece lol ( anime joke ) But Chopper was our bartender. She is a delightful and lovely person. we had a great conversation with her on top of that the drinks that she made was superb. The espresso martini with cognac was amazing. I really appreciate it that they use real espresso. It was happy hour and the hookah was $20 !! Oh how I wish this would have been a 5 start experience for me. Even with good customer service and a nice decor this spot just did not do it for me. I went on a Saturday evening . Went in for drinks, hookah, and appetizers. The drinks ranged from mid to simply not good. The hookah was good but burned super quickly. Came here for the second time on a Friday and sat the bar. The decor is nice and the place is big with VIP sections and a dance floor. It's good for eating or having a drink or dancing. The bartender, whose name I forgot, was very attentive and polite. The Dj was good as well and played a mix of everything. Towards the end of the night, i ordered some food, which included the steak bites, truffel fries, and calamari. The steak bites were really good, the fries were good as well, and the calamari with the sweet and spicy sauce was really good. We came here after dinner one night and the waiter was very nice, he didn't pressure us to order anything as we just ate and we just ordered some drinks and an app Since they gave us a nice table by the dance floor . It's a really pretty place with great music, the bouncers were very nice but should have assisted me when a car that was double parked blocking my car, I had to go ask the dj to make an announcement luckily the guy came out to move his car but I think the bouncers should be more aware of the parking situation. Was supposed to celebrate my birthday didn't get to. I called multiple times the number of DP kept changing. They never said anything about 21+ (I found them on Google doesn't say). We call to give them a DP (they charged the credit card) they called back 2 days later saying they can't take DP with credit cards they did refund us but then said it had to be cash or Zelle. We Zelle it but they were high risk so it never went through to them but we didn't know. Came here on Sunday to celebrate my friends birthday and experience was ok. Only reason why I'm giving 3 stars and not lower is because the food was pretty decent. Service though was pretty bad even when there was just 4 tables occupied including us. The staff was not very attentive and even when I called one of the waiters he just looked at me and walked away. Cave is known for their everyday happy hour specials and great pricing . I went on a Tuesday for happy hour not realizing it was Valentine's Day. They continuously post about the everyday happy hour and never post that it excludes holidays, so i made reservations and everything was full price . I still end up staying , they gave my friend and I roses and complimentary champagne . The hookah was good , the music was good , the food was good and I couldn't wait to return for actual happy hour . A couple weeks later I returned and had a horrible experience . The music was horrible , the service was horrible . I had a reservation but the table wasn't ready so we were sat by the bar at around 8:45 . They moved us from the bar in 10 minutes and immediately took our orders . We smoked the entire hookah and had about 3 drinks each and our food still didn't come out . People who came after us had eaten and left and we were still there. I checked this place out this passed weekend with a client of mine. Lovely music upon entry. We ordered our food peacefully and shortly after a photographer approached to ask us for a photo. She was nice up until she decided to approach us while we were eating. The food was ok. Disrupting a customer's meal at your own discretion is rude. We came here one night because my friend who goes here regularly suggested we go for a girls night since she wanted to got dancing and smoke some hookah. We arrived around 10 pm which is early for a Saturday night dance scene. It was not crowded at this time, so we grabbed a few seats by the bar. We decided not to do a table since they usually charge by hour and you need to spend a minimum at the table. Since it was only three of us, it's not worth doing. We ordered some drinks and shared calamari since we were all not entirely hungry. The service varies depending which bartender you get. We felt the first one that served us was a little judgey, but the second girl was good. The calamari was pretty good. It was lightly battered and tasted fresh and was tender. We ordered hookah with a combination of flavors that had mint grape and melon. I did agree with my friend that the hookah did have a smoother finish than the one other time I had hookah. It was nice that we were all given separate plastic mouthpieces to use the hookah. When the coals got cold, they were nice enough to change them out when we asked. The music the weekend we went was pretty good. There was a mix of both old and new music. The interior does look like you are inside of a cave which is pretty cool. One downside is that a 20% gratuity is already added to the bill instead of the customer being able to tip what they want. Upon entering this establishment on a Sunday evening during the football playoffs. I kindly asked if it was possible to turn on the game on 1/7 Televisions. With no hesitation, the game was turned on 7/7 televisions. During half time, the game was turned off, no problem. I asked once the game came back on, can it be tuned back in. Eventually the manager came up to me and my date and said he will not be putting the game back on, this isn't a sports bar and to watch the game on my phone. His demeanor and attitude was very unprofessional and unwelcoming. After spending over $200 in this establishment, I would not recommend their service.
