We decided to have a work Christmas gathering here. They were accommodating to a large group, there was 16 of us. The vibes are very chill and relaxed. The music was good able to dance to in the space. Our sever Destiny was amazing !! She dealt with all of our personalities with grace and went above and beyond. We did the prefix menu which is 75 pp and you can an app and entree plus the table gets two drink towers. The rum punch was really good. My app was bang bang shrimp, loved it the sauce was tasty . The entree was mango jerk salmon I absolutely loved this take on salmon, it wasn't too spicy either. Came with peppers onions and mashed potato in a perfect portion. read more

Popped in on a random Monday night for happy hour with the bestie. Started off with the passion fruit margaritas... BESS!!! A definite proper margarita...we then had some wings, tacos and egg rolls all off the happy hour menu... music was good and the bartender was attentive. We sat at the bar to eat and catch up and it was a good time for a Monday early evening. Wasn't crowded... but everything was tasty and came out with adequate speed. Was definitely a good time and I look forward to doing dinner there one night. read more

I went to this spot on a Monday, last minute reservation. For an honest review, Service was slow at first, no one greeted us when we got there, and we had to get someone's attention. May be short staffed but we got a few recommendations on their best dishes, and ordered the lemongrass mussels, oxtail dinner and steamed snapper. The food was fantastic!!!!!! Like sooooo delicious! Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. I came back later that week to get the steamed fish again to go. They made it even though it was still brunch time. So Grace is given on service but the food!!!!! So good!!!!! read more

Definitely a go to spot for a girls night out and birthday celebrations. Came here Saturday night with a few girlfriends to celebrate and the vibes with the music were great. The food even though took a while to come the music made us feel comfortable still having a good time. I had the coconut curry shrimp which was really flavorful and tasty along with the sweet plantains. Definitely a place to try out :) read more

I was craving wings one night and decided to pop in here for the Tropical carribean wings. After about a 10-15 wait I received the wings and they were hot & fresh. I received about 8 wings. Delicious! The young man who took my order was pleasant as well. The decor is lovely and the ambiance is intimate. I look forward to returning here to dine in instead of take-out. read more

Was in Brooklyn and joined my best friend for brunch. Restaurant was empty but it's small and decor is simple but cute. Our waiter was Nyron and he was amazing. He answered every question and gave his recommendations he definitely provided great customer service when we questioned the chicken and waffles entree. We received one chopped up thigh and we mentioned it he came back out with additional chicken. The food was not the best but I would return. read more

Seen this restaurant on instagram so we decided to try it out. To start the ambiance is beautiful, but it definitely seems way bigger in pictures. The service was good, the only thing I didn't like is that our waitress kept rushing us to order due to the (90 mins ) sitting time. After our 90 mins was up, they did offer us to sit in a small lounge area to continue to enjoy our drinks. But they kept coming to ask us if we was done eating, ( uncomfortable after a while) The food was good, everyone enjoyed it. and the drinks are strong They service hookah after 10pm ( not the best I had) Overall great experience read more

This is my second time coming here and I enjoyed the food however, they put too much sauce on our appetizers. The drinks here are really great. I love the upscale decor and plenty of the staff friendly and I enjoyed the food. I've been here twice on a Friday winter and summer. I tried the jerk chicken tacos, We had Mango Margarita Barney-Rebel Tickle My Plum Plum Tropical BBQ Wings Bang Bang Shrimp Oxtail w/ rice and peas and spinach Plum Pasta with Salmon Plum is where the Caribbean flavors shine in an upscale setting. The drinks are flavorful and strong, while the macaroni cheese, reminiscent of macaroni pie, is a must-try. Wings and bang shrimp were tasty, though a bit saucy for our liking. The oxtail and rice peas were yummy, I really li. Wished there was more meat. The pasta is similar to Rasta pasta and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The Caesar Salad was nothing special but I heard the grill shrimp was good. Perfect for date night, girls' night out, happy hour, or celebrating special occasions. Don't miss their new brunch offerings! read more

Second time here and just like the first, the customer service was amazing. Delly was our waitress, so genuine and friendly. Justin also helped out with our table and he was great. Food and drinks were also amazing and the ambiance in here is beautiful. 10/10 experience all around. This time we had some happy hour and seafood Tuesday specials. Drinks: from HH menu we had the moscato $9, and the shugga plum plum cocktail $8- this was really good. It was a nice refreshing guava flavored drink but you still taste that it's a cocktail. We also had the Caribbean breezer $19 and cucumber-tini $18 from the regular menu. The Caribbean breezer is a set up' lol it's taste so good but it's strong! The cucumber-tini was good too. The cucumber wasn't overpowering. Food: From the HH menu we had the pineapple jerk wings $8- they were really good but didn't taste like jerk. From the seafood Tuesday menu we had the crab meat stuffed shrimp $18, Cajun seafood boil $40 (all their boils come with crab legs but it doesn't say that on the menu). Both were really delicious and the portion sizes more than worth the prices. The sauce on the shrimp was yummy. I also had the steamed whole snapper $36 from the regular dinner menu. Fish was fresh and seasoned to perfection. It's steamed with okra, carrots, and pumpkin which was enough for me, I wasn't even able to eat the mashed potatoes it came with. I love it here and will continue going back to work my way through the menu! :) read more

I enjoyed this restaurant. The service was great and it was pretty calm for a Friday evening. We did get to get in for happy hour which was a plus. The happy hour food was really tasty. Everything was well seasoned and presented well. The vegetable spring rolls were my favorite. The decor was beautiful. It is a good restaurant for any occasion. Parking is definitely available on the surrounding streets. The bathroom was tidy. read more

Came here on 2 occasions both were pretty good. I attended the Happy hour on Thursday. Our bartender/server was very lovely, and friendly. $8 for small bites and their signature cocktail the sugar plum plum was so refreshing and well made. The wings could've been fried alil harder but the sauce was good and the chicken was tender. The bang bang shrimp were good but overly sauced. The following Sunday I attended brunch there they had a bottomless for $25 pp. I had the shrimp and grits which was very good topped with oxtail gravy. My friend had the chicken and waffles the chicken was overcooked and dry but the waffles had a nice batter flavor. Overall music was good, ambience is very nice the decor is upscale. I would definitely come back. Great for a date night, afterwork vibes, or brunch. Very nice place read more

This is a cute little carribbean style restaurant on a quiet street in Brooklyn. I went on a Sunday, and there were still a lot of patrons inside. The decor is cute, and there are royal purple and green velvet seating at each table. I love that where we were sitting, there were several outlets available to charge your phone. The Conch fritters were delicious, but I hate that it's only 4, and they're not all the same size. The calamari was just okay, I've had better. I liked the plum pasta, but the sauce was very soupy, and I feel like it would've better served on a flat plate instead of a saucer like dish. The people who had the oxtail meal at my table enjoyed it. Pros: - Great DJ - strong and sweet drinks - complimentary shots given to my table - good amount of street parking available Cons - took forever to get our appetizers brought to us - they forgot our order of wings - only take a max of 3 credit cards read more

We came here as a group for a birthday dinner. It's only street parking available. As the night went one, the places started filling up more. The music was also great. The drinks were strong and sweet. For entree we got the fritters and it was one of the best I've ever had. We also got the calamari and it was decent. Half the table got the oxtail meal and it was good. The other half got the chicken and pasta and it was also good. An order of wings never came out. All in all service was alright. read more

Yesterday I went to Plum restaurant and lounge for my friend's birthday. The atmosphere is nice. The food is nice. I really recommend getting the oxtail. It tasted so good. I loved it so much. The rice taste good the oxtail had a little bit fat on it, which I don't mind cause it was not too much the service. The food came quick kind of everything was good. I had a good time overall I really didn't like how I had to pay $11 for a drink, but it's OK cause the food and the drink was amazing. read more

The food here was well proportioned! very delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely too. The servers were very friendly, and attentive, but were very busy when it came time for us to get our bill. I did not really enjoy the DJ's music choices. He was not very good at blending the music with the audiences mood. But he did have good songs playing from time to time. I definitely recommend this place for a birthday, or date, or even if you just want to hang out with the family or the fellas. Also, the tv's were playing some cartoons all night. That was annoying, some sports or some kind of music videos would have been a better choice. read more

Genuinely had a great time at their Wednesday karaoke night. Came after 7:30 and the place was relatively empty. There was one group seated and others at the bar. We didn't mind as there was plenty of options for seating and we got a two seater near the dj. The chairs were a plush velvet that were super comfortable and gave you the view of the restaurant. My friend and I ended up singing three songs and the wait wasn't long. The dj wasn't pushy, but encouraged everyone. Now, my waitress Sharlet was super sweet and attentive. She repeatedly checked on us, gave us a free shot for my friend's stellar performance, gave me a free drink when I didn't look super happy with the first one and made a great mocktail for my friend. She really anticipated our needs really well making sure the liquor type was the same as my cocktail. The brown stew snapper was delicious. I ended up saving half for the next day because I couldn't finish the meal. It came with options but I got the traditional bammi (usually most restaurants are out) and a great, firm garlic seasoned broccoli. I'll Definitely be back for a date night, girls night or birthday. They came out with a huge sign and cake with sparklers for someone else's birthday while we were there. Made them feel very special. read more

I was invited to a comedy event that they started doing on Thursday night. I arrived around 8p so they were still setting up, but the bar was open. They sat you when your party arrived, so I was at the bar for the meantime, which I did not mind at all. The bartender was super sweet and very attentive she said they have been open for about 2 months now. This is blacked owned, so you know I'm here for the support. I ordered the Rum Punch well, 2 because it was good. It's definitely a fruitier version of a dark n stormy on point. I also ordered the spicy mussels and baby; the scotch bonnet was PEPPER!!! But it was REALLY good; I can't lie.....okay only thing that really took a star off is the wait for food. The mussels took about half hr to 40 mins. The bar chairs feel a little low for the bar but it didn't stop anything. The bathrooms are clean, and they photo ops every where fpr a cute pic or two. My homegirls came. we sat down and ordered the wings, and plum wings were slamminggggg. By then, I was on my third Rum Punch. The show was funny, and they had a handful of comedians, the host she did her thang. I'm definitely back Thursday to try more. read more

Visited for Happy Hour and it was a lovely experience. The food and drinks were tasty and the music selection was enjoyable. We had Jerk Wings, Calamari and Plum drink special. This establishment was very underwhelming. I visited based on many reviews on social media. The food was just ok. I was confused by this establishment having a strict dress code but not enforced at all. I went after 9 and I don't think they were checking ID. Work in progress...New spot...Needs some interior vision, the ambiance just isn't there, very cavernous setting. Food wasn't prepared great and presentation was lackluster. I only had appetizers, so I dare not try the entrees. The tacos were extra spicy but not hot in food temperature. Crab cakes had a good taste but the exterior was too charred in my opinion. The slaw that came with the crab cakes was a tasty addition and made it taste better. No Jameson, no seltzer water, and no spring rolls. Go figure. Service was just ok, all the staff seemed dry in their disposition. There was a dj later in evening and they do have hookah. I didn't try hookah, so I don't know how good. read more

Came here for brunch for my friends birthday and had a great time! The service was friendly, fast, and attentive. We ordered the jerk wings and I had the ackee and Saltfish 10/10, my friend had the shrimp and grits and said it was really good. I also ordered the cucumber martini which was fire. It's a beautiful space with lots of seating. I took off a star because they had a DJ and the music was BLASTING, the server had to talk in my ear for us to hear each other. Also the hookah service was a little slow and the bathroom could have been maintained better(beautiful decor but wasn't clean). read more

I understand this is a new establishment within the neighborhood but I must say it felt like something was missing. The ambiance was nice but the lighting was too bright especially for dinner setting mode. The workers didn't seem to be the happiest employees to be serving the customers. They had the look as if they just didn't want to come to work that day. Limited menu and beverages is an area of improvement. Shrimp tacos- the jerk sauce was super spicy Carb cakes were over cooked minus that had a good flavor. Grilled shrimp was grilled perfectly If improvements are made I would say give them a try again but I'm not sure read more

Me friend and I both got sick from this palace. Service 3.5/5 Drinks 5/5 Food 1.5/5 I had the Tuscan salmon. Very dry and over cooked. The mashed potatoes were very stiff as if they were hard. Does not compare to what is presented on IG. Unorganized. Server kept forgetting to get things for the table. Didn't seem genuinely happy. Food 7/10 (limited brunch menu) Chicken was not fresh. I visited Plum BK with a friend for brunch. It was our first time so we were a bit hyped (base off some of the reviews) we arrived early but customers soon began trickling in. The decor is cute, purple themed of course. There was no DJ, just music playing from a phone I'm sure. Our waiter, didn't get his name was very nice and attentive (main reason for the 3 stars). My friend and were not really in the mood for cocktails so he made us mocktails which were very refreshing. For appetizer we ordered the green plantain (we subbed it for bammie) with ackee and saltfish. It was okay. The bammie was not easy to cut into. For entree (they were only serving brunch) my friend ordered the rib poutini and I had the jerk shrimp with coconut cheese grits. The rib poutini, my friend did not like and honestly did not look appealing at all (see pic). It was some sort of braised ribs on top of French fries, topped with cheese and a tomato. My friend ended up giving it back (which the waiter took off the bill) and ordering the jerk shrimp and coconut cheese grits which was not bad at all. read more

Plum had a cool vibe. The music is good and you can get hookah. My rum punch was ok. I've had better. But the clams were bussin!

I love when Caribbean restaurants make it into the neighborhood. We decided last minute to get some apps and drinks and chose here. We arrived around 10ish and the place was packed. Was told there would be seats available in 10 minutes so we waited at the bar . Well the table we were waiting on was given to a couple who just walked in.. Out of frustration and hunger we decided to just dine at the bar. The ladies at the bar were super cool and accommodating. I didn't like my 1st drink and they agreed to swap it out . I wasn't really in a mood for a full meal so we decided to order a bunch of apps. The conch fritters were delish. Fish tacos were good..The mussels were bomb and flavorful.. The vege spring rolls were okay. My only issue was the seafood soup which is a bit misleading bc it only had fish. I wouldn't have ordered it if I knew it was only fish. It was good but the name needs be to fixed on the menu. Drinks were ok and you can tell which bartenders can really mix. I would say only thing that was kind of awkward, was the man who appeared to be the owner/manager who pretty much was surveying the place.. His stare was just odd especially while folks were dining. Still a great vibe and addition to BK.. I'll be back read more

Everything was perfect. Food was on point wanted to lick my plate drinks to die for service great!!!!! definitely coming back

I first want to say thank you for Amanda and the staff for making my birthday a great one! I went here to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends on a Saturday night (a busy night!) and everything was great! They are very accommodating for my party of 13 . For the food orders, first I'll start with the appetizers: tropical jerk wings , jerk wings calamari taco both fish and chicken although you get 2 tacos there are big, oysters (I didn't have them but my cousin said they were good) basically the appetizers were good! For the entrees we ordered lamb, jerk chicken with rice and peas (the jerk was jerking lol) oxtails, escovitch fish, all was good! Side orders were good as well. I would say the Mac and cheese could use a little bit more seasoning/taste but nonetheless it was good. The ambiance was nice too! It's definitely set up like a restaurant and lounge. No let's get into the drinks! Okk! The drinks were giving what it was suppose to give! The drinks was hitting! The tickle my plum plum drink was soo good and the Caribbean Breeze! The Piña colada, great too! Their mock tails were good as well. They do have a DJ, he sets the mood. When we were there it was a lot of slow jams, r&b and throwbacks. Not sure if later in the night the music genre changes but he was throwing it back with the songs. All in all I think it's a great place to celebrate your birthday or for a chill night. Saturdays are their busy nights so I would HIGHLY suggest making reservations! I would definitely come back especially to get my drinks! read more

The DJ was a whole vibe! Drinks were great, food was wack. Bang bang shrimp had too much batter, it was super wet on the inside and hard on the outside, no taste. I took all the batter off all the shrimp. Jerk pineapple wings were burnt to a crisp, had to send them back. Onion rings were ok. I had the sampler, they ran out of spring rolls. It took 20 minutes to get a waitress to give us menus, an hour for drinks, and another hour for food, 2 people who were with me never received their food. The bday girl didn't receive her food. Bathrooms were filthy!!! Every 2 hours someone should be cleaning the bathrooms, at least checking to see if it needs cleaning. Bill was $500 & the gratuity said $6.00, y'all need to fix that. Wonder if it was $6.00 because the service was horrible lol They need more staff, this place def has potential. read more

Went here for my bday the food took forever to come out and while we waited for our dessert they told us that we had to leave our table because there was a time limit that no one told us about. Then we ended up waiting 20 minutes for our dessert, which was a cold slice of chocolate cake, mind you the place was pretty much empty. If there's a time limit on seating, they should bring out your food at a reasonable time. And they should tell you that there's a time limit making someone get up from their table when they're not even done eating is crazy. Horrible bday experience, never going back. read more

The service in here was terrible. I had a birthday dinner for a friend and it was 7 of us. It took over 20 minutes to get a menu which was a clear cube with a barcode on it. They gave us one to pass around amongst us. After checking out the menu for about 10 mins the waitress asked for our drinks around the table and then asked for our meals we're like miss give us a minute we didn't get to check out the menu but we said forget it and gave our order. We sat at our table about 9:30, we waited until 10:25 to get our drinks & dinner at the same time. Ridiculous we had to ask about our drinks because at any restaurant you'll get your drinks before your food. When the drinks cane out we were missing one, they forgot about it but mine you we had 3 orders of the same drink that drink should not have been forgotten. So we had to remind them of the drink. Her missing drink came around 10:45. At this point we felt we needed to be compensated with something for terrible service. We didn't see our waitress much throughout the night, she didn't check on us throughout the night and we didn't even know her name. When the bill came we seen there was automatic gratuity added which we understood but we did not agree with the amount they were asking for given the bad service. We asked to speak to the manager and she was no help yet did she do anything to compensate unsatisfied customers. Overall the ambiance Is nice we liked the dimness and lounge feel it gives. Don't like the bathroom spaces which are unisex and there's only 2. The food was ok a 6/10 not hot enough. The drinks were also ok 7/10. The best part honestly was the dj. read more

My family was excited to visit and support a local Caribbean spot. This place was HORRIBLE!! The food was underwhelming and service wasn't great. We were hoping for a great experience to plan a future birthday brunch. I placed an order of chicken tacos for my kids, they brought out jerk chicken tacos. Unfortunately my 7 year old doesn't do pepper yet. They need to fix their menu for it to say JERK chicken tacos. The waitress also clearly knew the order was for my kids, you would think she would mention it was jerk chicken. They also had no care to fix the issue so we were stuck with DRY jerk chicken tacos. My fish tacos was basically a salad with dry strips of fish. Everything was horrible, along with the fact that they charge $8 for a child Minute Maid lemonade and $8 for a margarita (HH price). Their establishment needs to figure out a better way to price Minute Maid lemonade. It should not be the same price as an alcoholic beverage. Highly disappointing experience, waste of time and money. No vibes at all. read more
