The food was reasonably priced but my food tasted very under seasoned. I got the 1lb shrimp boil with corn and potatoes. Nothing tasted like it have been seasoned. I asked for the spicy level to be medium but it was very mild and the sauce it came in was a creamy white which different. They didn't give my friend a cracker for her crab legs; she did mention that her crab legs were seasoned. I would come back here again for the drinks and to try their regular menu. The seating it limited but the backyard is very nice and has a lot more room. My go-to is the shrimp Mac. It's so good and always served fresh. Then there were customers becoming irate at the professionalism of the hostess (person taking our order since there were no waiters). One of my friends were overcharged; tried to explain how but the hostess was not receptive. Our food came after an extremely long wait. The salmon salad... MEDIOCRE. It was a cold piece of salmon that didn't look too fresh with spinach and iceberg leaves (whaaattt) and sliced tomatoes with onions. I made sure to specifically ask what comes in the salad before ordering it and was told that it's an actual house salad. Umm... they were missing a lot of ingredients and mixed the lettuce. They didn't even give salad dressing. I didn't bother asking for any because I knew I'd have to wait forever for that as well. Moving along to the tacos, the tacos looked mediocre and were. They should never advertise tacos. In fact, I saw pics of the how the tacos used to be. It's NOT like that now. The lemonade tasted like pure lemon juice with blue food coloring. The corn was stale. It tasted disgusting. Was not edible. The burrito (not pictured) seemed to be the best thing ordered but I still wouldn't recommend. Nia, the bartender/waitress was excellent: friendly, honest, helpful AND made fabulous drinks. We ordered the Rum Punch (Happy Hour from 2-8 p.m. everyday) and the Grilled Salmon with veggies and mashed potato (my sis got rice and veggies.) Although the food DID take a while to come out it was worth the wait: good sized portions and VERY tasty. My only complaint was the music. Previous reviews mention a mix of calypso, reggae and hip hop, sadly there was only hip hop the entire time I was there. Came here for brunch on a Sunday with my bae. When we first arrived, around 3, there were just a few people at the bar. By 4, the place was packed. Music was playing, a mix of 90's and early 2000's hip-hop and r&b that was both enjoyable and reminiscent. The service was good. At first there seemed to be only one person who was the bartender and the server. I thought service was about to be terribly slow, but as time went on more waiters/waitresses started to show up. It did seem confusing at first as to which waiter was ours, as the the bartender started to only service people in the bar area. However, once we looked as if we needed help, someone came to assist us and he waited on us for the rest of our stay. We both ordered a burger with fries and rum punches. My burger was delicious. As I was waiting, a man wearing a blue shirt spoke with a woman on my left side making me feel uncomfortable. Another taller stocky man where a baseball cap and black graphic shirt was walking around from side to side (at one point no one was sitting next to me) making me feel uncomfortable as well.
